The tall ronso already had his things under his arm, and he looked wide awake. gielle figured he had been reading after all. if he had been asleep, his eyeliner would have smudged.

Gielle got the impression the ronso had no intention of tell him as of yet, so he didn't press for it. he didn't really know wether or not he was on the ronsos good side anyway, and he didn't want to spoil anything.
