Shang put the final touches on his origami tiger, spoke a few quiet words over it, and set it down on the floor. to everyone's surprise, it changed, appearing to become a real bengal tiger.

This was a really nice chapter to work on, the latter part very much inspired by my favourite setpiece of paper mario: origami king. regular readers might even spot a little cameo from someone at the end ;3 godzilla and co. copyrighted to toho co.

At one point gen looked into the old office where meiji kept his records, a shelf dedicated to customer records from the jinuchu as the bird noticed a surprising number of origami cranes strewn across the place.
