leo said. "that would be nice." james said smiling. they walked across the road to leo's house. leo opened the door, "after you good sir." leo said bowing. james rolled his eyes and walked in.

The vines that constrained leo's legs retracted back into the ground as leo fell to the ground in shock. "no," whispered leo. "hm?" said redrigal. "no, that can't be true," whispered leo dazed. "is something wrong?"

leo smiled to himself; he was glad that the christmas holidays were finally here. "hey there, leo!" said a voice. leo turned to see his friend, a chameleon.

This is my new friend, leo." leo was amazed; no girl his age had ever regarded him as a friend before. "oh, um... hi, miss." said leo, trying to be polite.

"i want to go home," cried leo as tears continued to flow down his face. "there, there mommy's got you," said the person. leo turned around to face the person. the person was a human and so was leo, yet, leo wasn't human, leo was beast man.

leo tried to get the crowd to quiet down but that didn't seem possible for the most part because they were louder than leo. the crowd did eventually disperse to their own sides allowing leo to breathe much easier.

Shouted brian as he began to fire at leo once again. leo took the shots and his wounds began to bleed heavily but leo showed no sign of fatigue or fear. this time leo didn't stagger but he continued to look into brian's eyes.

leo and diego left with a smile on their muzzles. "so i'll see you for pharmacology tomorrow?" leo said with a smile. "of course" diego replied before planting a kiss on leo's muzzle.
