So at the beginning of the story we had anon fly out testing a new shield algorithm. so then is it any surprise at all that not only is the stolen tech about shields but that the resolution of the event would require anon to go and do it again?

"yeah," anon says, "stand still a moment, i want to check on something." anon rotates around, telling mia to face riu the entire time. as she does so, she notices that her perception of direction is being messed with.

anon smiled down at her. she always called him that, "big brother", or sometimes "green" when she was really excited. most just called him "anon" though, as that was the name his father had given him before he left.
