The edge of the snowboard carved into the ice as she adjusted her angle of approach slightly. just ahead was her launchpad. she’d only get one more run at this. it had to be perfect.
Winter Break: Chapter 1
Let's try snowboarding." mutt said. "alright." the stranger said with a chuckle. another hour passed and it was starting to get dark. the stranger seemed to be doing better at snowboarding, but he still wasn't very good.
Powder
His snowboard was lying in the snow, unharmed and shimmering in the mountain's bountiful sunlight. his emergency backpack was on his back just in case anything happened.
A small update
I am also planning my annual snowboard trip for next month. i will probably be going to whistler around christmas. as far as commissions go, i haven't gotten any recently and i would at least like to end up even for the year.

Bad News
"this is where we go every time i go snowboarding" i said as mike locked his bike on a bike rack and we walked in the entrance. ~~~ after lunch we walked out the diner, unlocked the bike and headed into the mountain forest.
Lonely Christmas
There is one good thing about the yukon though; you can snowboard just about anywhere. and people are nice enough to not complain if you hitch a ride on the tailgate while they drive.
