The Striped River Cat
My lazy attempt at a short story. I suck at writing.
Once upon a time, in the Amazon River, there was a striped raphael catfish, he was the spikiest of them all. He loved to explore the riverbed and his favorite time to do it was during the day, he was never fearful as his spikes protected him from most threats, what foolhardy predator would go for something so spiky, he kept swimming until he found a minnow trap type contraption, he explored that and became entangled, his number one protection, his spikes were now an issue as he couldn't free himself, he lay entangled in the trap, as hours turn into a day, suddenly he got pulled up, now trying not to struggle as a human cut the netting off and released him, he was lucky to have survived. The striped river cat lived happily ever after...
