With the base in sight, I do my best to maneuver the converted pod, finding a spot near what looks like an emergency exit. I take a deep breath as I equip my gear, this was it... I was on my own, a saboteur ready to accomplish the mission set in motion. This base needed to fall to avoid the invasion of Warren happening once more, I'll have to really improvise if I'm going to pull this off.

I eventually leave the pod, not wanting to risk raising an alarm I look for a maintenance hatch, avoiding the few toad patrols that I can see, keeping my gauss pistol at the ready and looking through the scope. I eventually find a small one, I open it and begin the transfer, switching from the gauss pistol to the suppressed sidearm as it'll serve better and the gauss pistol could actually punch through the bulkheads if it hits something thin enough. I manage to get into the vents and set up a small post, looking over the schematics, based on where I am the life support system is nearby, primary and secondary power systems are a ways away, the main sensor array looks to be near where the ships dock. For a plan like this to succeed, I would need to knock out sensors first, rig the comms to where I can switch it on and off and charges would have to be rigged on the three critical system to detonate at the same time... not easy but it is possible.

I strip most of my armor off, keeping only some of the torso gear, keeping the shotgun with the armor piecies, the two sidearms will offer the best approach, though I do keep my axe in case I need to get close or I need a tool. Sudenly I feel a shape pain goe through my head which causes me to stumble and I hit my head pretty good on the wall, I grasp my head as I keep a groan tp myself, but now I think one of my teeth is loose. I slowly make my way through the vents, seeing stormtoads marching around, then I see what looks to be prisoners being escorted, some are rabbits, some are dogs and a few other types of mammels, along with it I see something I wasn't expecting... there are toad women also present and they look to be supermodals of some description. A boost of morale? Propaganda? I don't know but maybe this could be the perfect cover, though I need to knock out the communications out first...

I think 'And hopefully they have a dentist!' as I rub the tooth in pain.

Making the trek to the sensors is quite something, trapped in the cramped vents, I can smell the hint of swamp traveling through the passageway, the thudding of boots, it's a small base from what I can tell... but if they plan to ambush it'll be all they need, the clock is ticking for both sides. There really isn't much security here, if I had to guess the troops are stationed aboard ships and only are going to and from the base for supplies, I wont know until I find some answers of my own. Using the hack tools and everything at my use thanks to Blinky I figure out how to isolate the comms and rig both to a hidden switch box, I yank some of the comm wires out and quickly enter the vents as I hit the button for the switch in my pocket. I do have a plan of attack to deal with the objectives, though now that I have control of the comms, maybe I can be a little more hands on, more direct. I store the last of my gear where the rest of it is, I slink around until I find the toad modals.

I give a silent sigh as I clutch the memory stone 'Commencing operation.' and I drop down, trying to make it look like it was an accident. I hear gasps escape their lips as I get up, glancing around to see no security and that they are wearing swimsuits, I rub my tooth and I say "Sorry ladies, I'm trying to find the dentists office." even pressing against it to add soem crimson to the show.

The group looks at one another, a toad wearing a one piece, pink suit comes up to me "So, you broke out just to go to the dentist?" with some concern in her features.

I say "The guards won't listen to me and it really hurts.", I give a painful sigh "But I'm forgetting my manners, I'm Adam and you are miss...?"

The modal gives a gentle smile "I'm Jamel, nice to meet you. Now come on let's get you to the dentist." as she takes my hand.

The looks on the guards faces are just priceless, me being escorted by one of their top modals must really be quite a shock indeed. I eventually get to the dentist office, the toad is eyeing all of my teeth, Jamel is sitting nearby watching as two guards stand at the door.

The dentist sighs "Well, the tooth is cracked clean through and it needs to be removed.", she glances to me as she jots a few things down "How did it happen?"

I say "I tripped and hit my head against the wall."

The dentist nods "That'll do it. We can get started right away, are you allergic to any painkillers or to any anesthetic?" as she prepares some tools.

I shake my head "Not that I know of."

Jenny is looking out at the stars, wondering how Adam's mission is going, she wants to contact him to at least get an update on the mission but she knows he can't break radio silence. They had met up with one of the U.A.C. battle fleets, ready to launch their assault either by the three day mark or should they hear from Adam about a a surrender. Jenny had contacted the sisterhood to ask them to keep the human in their thoughts, Felicia and the Queen sharing some good concern, his training didn't center around infiltration at all but his training as a space marine should make up the difference. Bucky and a vixen come onto the bridge of the ship, the fox is wearing a blue captains uniform, gold star earrings, green eyes and striking red lipstick.

Bucky says "Any word from Adam?"

Jenny looks over the comms "Nothing so far."

Bucky glances to the fox "Mimi, do you know if there is a resistance cell in place?" with a thinking look.

Mimi says "I'm not sure, but if it does exist they'll help him without a doubt, Adam has earned a quick reputation among the U.A.C. to where some look to him for inspiration."

The feline looks to both of them "The problem with that though is that the enemy is now gunning for him, there's no doubt about it. His encounter with Toadborg proved that he is being treated as a high value target."

The vixen looks to Bucky "Then why did he deploy?"

The rabbit gives a nod "Adam knows to knock out the communication systems first if able, it is possible that Komplex hasn't informed all of his forces yet of his full status which gives Adam some room to work with, though I have a feeling that after this every toad in the Aniverse will be going after him like they do with me."

The Air Marshal is on the planet of junk, a squad of infiltrator toads is with him, having left the confines of a small toad ship, two twin toads are also with him, Frix and Frax who are disappointed because the Marshal destroyed the tv on the bridge.

The Air Marshal says "Alright, based on the traffic... a haul from Aldebaran during that time frame should be around here."

Frix groans "I'm missing toad tv for this?" to his brother.

Frax shakes his head "And the Ms. Toad Universe show was just getting good."

The Marshal turns around "Silence you fools!" as he bashes their heads togther, he releases them "Mighty Komplex wants this machine found, one way or another!"

The group searches for an hour and they find something interesting, it's in the vague look of a drop ship as evidence of pods can be found, they see what looks like a flag painted on the side of it, the flag is comprised of three colors, red, blue and white, the upper left corner is blue with fifty stars while the rest of it is horizontal stripes of white and red, 13 in total with the words 'United States Air Force' on the side as well. The craft looks completely burnt out and the inside is just trashed, they load the craft onto theirs and take off, scientists and engineers are looking the craft over and they soon give their report.

A scientist salutes the AIr Marshal "Sir, we have looked the entire machine and we've made some interesting discoveries."

Air Marshal gives a soft crook "What did you find?"

The scientist adjusts his glasses "This machine is made of realtively primitive tech overall, the drive system and computer mainframe are the two most impressive parts on here. But we did make an interesting discovery, the drive system wasn't made to travel dimensions but distance instead, based on information from the black box...", he brings up a monitior "Well, see for yourself.", the screen shows data from the black box, there are four conflicting data graphs, three of which drop instantly and he says "The data shows that the craft did indeed launch to somewhere, however the drive malfunctioned and created some kind of anti-matter pocket that was disrupted which ended up replicated the shuttle and everything inside of it, sending one to our universe and two to two others."

The AIr Marshal looks to the scientist "So, there are four in total?" earning a nod "Can we find out what universes and begin sending troops?!"

The glass wearing toad shakes his head "Not without trying to replicate any data and we are still examining the box.", he looks to the data "Imagine it though, the original going somewhere in their universe while three others are created and sent to three others, all of them being forged into whatever influences them."

The Air Marshal eyes the scientist "That could mean three new threats as well. Not to mention what allies thay may have acquired."

Al Negator is on Canis II, he's sabotaging the planets defense grid, charges are secretly planted on automated turrets, shield cables are cut or rigged to burn themselves out, heavy vehicles are also planted with charges along with shuttle craft. Settings are put in place so that when the Toad Invasion comes within striking range, all the charges go off instantly and render any defenses mute, leaving the one million strong toad forces at an advantage, even if they are only conscripts.

With my tooth issue fixed, Jamel is holding my hand while I hold gauze to my face, we enter the mess hall so that I can get some ice cream as solid food wouldn't be the best thing for me right now, though I'm still a little out of because of the novacaine.

Jamel gazes at me "So you are this human we've heard so much about, you aren't so scary after all. If anything I think your kind of a sweetheart." earning some looks from the guards.

I take a lick of my frozen treat "Well, like this I am... in combat it's different."

A toad officer comes in "So, this is the guest of honor huh? Breaking out of your cage... all over a tooth!" as he gets close "CARE TO EXPLAIN YOURSELF!"

Jamel shoots up "Excuse me! He's just had a tooth pulled and the poor thing is recovering and has a doctors note to clear him for a few days, how about you be a little patient?!"

The officer just stands there stunned, meanwhile I'm just enjoying my ice cream, I look and I notice a tv playing above me playing what looks like a sitcom with a husband and wife toad having some banter, the toads look at me weird when I let some lazy laughs come out, but what cracks me up as the commercials, fly wallpaper, a mail to order hammer and so on with each one making me laugh harder and harder, the slapstick humor reminding me of the Three Stooges, heck a couple are actually in black and white.

Jamel blinks "My, mammals normally hate toad tv but you seem to be enjoying it."

I shrug a little "It's kind of like tv back where I'm from, but this is a lot funnier.", I see a toad on tv get hit in the head with coconut during a comedic skit and I just laugh.

My 'break' finally ends when I'm given a prisoner uniform and escorted to the containment cells, looking around I see quite a few mammals as I explore. I get gently pulled to the side by a rabbit, she looks me over and brings me to a small room filled with more mammals but the room is dark.

The rabbit says "We weren't expecting to see you here, but if you are, then that means the days of this place are numbers."

I give a nod 'A resistance group, it's kind of on the small side but better then nothing.', I glance around "That is correct, in two and half days a battle fleet will arrive, I deployed to see if I can force this place to surrender or knock it out entirely."

A goat comes over "Then we may have a chance after all, we're organizing a revolt to try to take the base over."

I shake my head "You are outgunned, however I can make my way through the vents okay, which is good because I need to get charges on the critical systems."

The rabbit says "So, you have a plan?" as she folds her arms.

"My plan is to put charges in place and see if I can force their surrender, If I can't then I must detonate them and activate the beacon I have to get the fleet en route. If your resistance cell is equipped well enough we can use that to our advantage, however the aim would be to distract and not to kill." thinking of how to proceed.

A mole cuts in "We have access to the vents, but how quick can you work?"

I pool the information I have and I say "If I start right away, it could take a few hours to set the charges... a few extra if I put them in discrete locations where the toads definitely can't reach them. Since I had a trip to the dentist I'm cleared from work." giving a wink at the end "But I need all of you to put in place some armaments in positions you can defend for a few hours once it all starts."

We get to work getting everything set up, since I don't want to raise and suspicion, I do my best to work in a shift based on setting the charges, thus it take a full day to get them set up, I even help in putting some weapon caches in place for the resistance forces. Now we were set up to commence the operation, but something interesting happens, what looks like a group of students and teachers are being given a tour of some kind, which stuns me, we were on the front line and they were doing something like this, I'm told it's to help with morale for both civilians and military forces of the Toad Empire, given that they'll only be here for a few hours and they are catching glimpses of me, I make the choice to have the operation start, but I inform them of the situation when it comes to the kids. Me and a few others head into the vent, I quickly assemble my gear and suit, I have told the others when to attack... all they had to do was wait until I press the button, I ready the detonator, selecting the one for the primary power. I'm terrified, what if we fail, what if we take too long? .... That doesn't matter in this moment, this was it and it was do or die, if the students were to talk to there parents back home then we could have a fleet over our heads in a few hours, I can't allow that.

I kiss the memory stone Jenny gave me 'Spirits, if you can hear me, please help me see this through. Please, help the toads see reason.', I tuck it back under the harden plates of my combat armor, I raise the detonator as I look to those who follow me in the vent "5... 4... 3... 2... 1!" and press the button.

I feel the base just rock as the sound of a massive explosion takes place, the lights flicker for a moment, alarms blare as a computer gives a red alert. We storm from the vents and we run towards the stations command center. We take the guards quickly before they fire, using non-lethal take downs, we get the door open and we enter the command center which catches the toads off guard, the toad modals standing off to the side, none of the toads dare move, our energy assault rifles are more then capable of defeating them in a single sweep.

I look at the base commander in his eyes "It's over! I've got charges set on all critical systems throughout the station and I'm more the ready to detonate them! No one has to die today, surrender now and we can avoid any bloodshed, please... listen to me." as I show him the switch.

The toad commander looks at everyone in the room, I can tell he wants to give the order but he gives a sigh, he goes over to a console and he says "All toad forces stand down! We surrender!"

On that I activate the beacon on my person as surrender flare launch into space, within a few minutes the mammal battle fleet emerges, I begin to head back to the hanger, hanging onto the memory stone as I give it another kiss, I trip once more, I quickly focus as I put my hands out, but the memory stone glows, white energy covers my hands and a shock wave emerges from them sending me backwards and I barely manage to regain my footing. I look at my hands in confusion along with the memory stone, from the shadows I hear a feminine laugh, the figure of a member of the Aldebaran race comes out, I don't recognize the armor, the body suit is black but the armor plates are onyx colored as a face plate covers her face.

The cat says "So... you have psionics after all. I didn't think such primitives could manifest such capabilities."

I blink "Who are you?"

The feline shakes her head "I can't say.", her head straightens "I was sent here to keep an eye on you, some members of the sisterhood are still cautious. I must report this to my master, but you need to report to the most senior sister on board the Righteous Indignation."

I think 'Jenny?' as I glance down to the memory stone, I look back up to see the cat is gone, with some trial and error I manage to dissipate the energy and continue onward, I eventually see the others who look to have just landed as space marines and drop ships do the same. Though I do notice a vixen walking alongside Bucky, she eyes me and gives me an impressed nod.

Bucky looks to me "Adam, I don't know how you pulled it off, but you did. Congrats... Lance sergeant." his features practically shining with pride as he gives a salute.

I salute back "Thank you sir. But I must report that we've got civilian prisoners of war here. Most of which are children."

The vixen seems to be eyeing me even more "They will be taken care of, I'll see to it myself. I am captain Mimi of the U.A.C., it's an honor to meet you."

I salute her "The honor is mine ma'am."

Willy raises an eyebrow "What happened to your tooth?" earning everyone's attention.

I feel where my tooth once was "I accidentally cracked it in half... so I had an appointment with the dentist and had it pulled. The base knew who I was but not that I was such a high priority target, especially since I hit comms first."

Jamel comes over to us, she looks to still be in some shock as everyone looks to her "You were an infiltrator, I guess we should have known better. But I'm happy you are okay, along with everyone else." putting a smile on towards the end, she puts on a sad look "But I need to ask you this Adam. How do you think this war will end?"

I feel everyone look to me regardless of side or age, I sigh as I try to come up with an answer, I really look at her and I say "It'll end either two ways... either as a surrender from the Toad Empire or it'll be reduced to dust."

My words hit the toads pretty hard as the mammals just stand there, it was harsh but was the truth... I've read the reports, the devastating hits against the toads, the more current deployment of fresh recruits in massed numbers, I glance to see the toad kids being escorted away... at that moment I could only ask one question, the one question I don't think anyone enlisted should ever ask... how long will it be before they start shooting at me and I would have to shoot back? I hate asking that question...

We soon depart the planet, I'm sitting against the wall on the floor as I eye the memory stone, I hear the doorbell chim, I say they can come in, Jenny enters and she quickly comes over to me as the door closes.

The cat sits next to me "Are you okay?" her green eyes looking me over.

I take a breath "I'm not entirely sure.", I look to her "Would they ever do it? Send children to the front line to fight the battles for them? Where they don't belong?!"

Jenny puts on a look of surprise "I-I'm not sure, I don't think they would get that desperate. The toad population is still a pretty good size like it's war machine, if they were to send such forces in, it would really mean they are at their end.", she looks to the ceiling "But hopefully this war will be over before such a thing even comes to mind for both sides."

We sit there for a few minutes in silence but I finally break it "Also, there is something I need to talk to you about." earning the felines attention "During the mission... I was able to manifest psionics.", I look at my hands and I say "I still don't know how."

Jenny says "Are you sure?" as she blinks.

I give a stern nod before looking into her eyes "I manifested what I think was telekinesis, I tripped on something and I thought of breaking my fall with my hands, the next thing I knw my hands and the memory stone glowed and I was forced back up."

The cat raises an eyebrow, she gently clutches the memory stone as it glows along with the gem on her foreheads, she becomes stunned after a few moments "Incredible, I don't know how but you really did manifest psionics.", the stones stop glowing "I'll have to inform Queen Katrina of this, though we won't be able to reach Aldebaran for some time. We're being shuffled to Canis II to help train some recruits, but after that I'll arrange transport for you to get there so we can begin your training.", she puts a hand on my shoulder "And I would become your master."

Audrey is sitting in her command chair, hearing from the Queen of the human's psionics manifesting was quite a shock for everyone in the sisterhood, this human was more then some space marine and someone who was aiding in victories in this war, he was becoming a psi-warrior just like them and given the circumstance he would be a strong obsitcle should he fight against her and her separatists.

Irene enters "Master, agent Veral has just returned from her scouting mission."

The an onyx plated cat enters, removing her visor and revealing her purple eyes "I trust you heard the news Master?"

The older feline looks to them "This is quite disturbing, my probing must've triggered something for such an event to occur. He must either be brought into our fold or eliminated from the equation, such a soldier would be useful indeed."

Veral gives a solid stare "Both him and his allies are en route to Canis II to aid in training exercises, I can head there and ambush him."

Audrey closes her eyes in thought, it was an opportunity, but Canis II has eyes everywhere these days and no amount of sneaking around would suffice, she eyes the two once more "Out of the question, we're going to have to wait for a new opening. In the mean time, we need to refocus our efforts on getting our invasion ready while still fulfilling our objectives to the U.A.C. against the toads."
