Space Junk: Part 1
Space Junk is a current running little story I'm a bit happy with. I think I can do better, but this one plays the role of Rebellion Captain, Zach Goherrez. There's some fur characters, some humans and more. One of them being an OC of mine; Ms.Minnie.
Honestly, it starts off a bit shit, but it should be better as I go on. I'll try.

The ship was silent and dimly lit. The little source of light that was present had belonged to the various lights and screens at the helm. The sound of a light engine hum filled the room with the two bedlike capsules in it. One was empty, the other held someone, some thing. The engine hum slowly died, and a red emergency exit esque light began flashing. The capsule opened, and stumbling to its feet, the creature fell out regaining it's balance. Walking into a room filled with two large machines akin to turbines, the creature inspected them.
"God damn it. I hope he isn't the cause of this engine shutdown..." She mumbled to herself, opening a hatch in between the two large machines. Down a short ladder, was a large cargo hold esque room with a dim light illuminating the whole area. A pair of feet stuck out from under a machine twice the size of the turbine esque ones. "Zach, what are you doing, and why have the engines shut down?" She asked, her tone less than pleased. The man working on the motor shimmied out from under it, as to meet the creature's gaze. "Well, I was going to make an upgrade to the ship's motor, and-" He was cut off by the creature, "It caused a problem, instead of fixing one. Don't you remember what the engineer said Zach?" She sighed, crossing her arms as Zach got to his feet and searched around the motor. "Yeah, 'don't try anything you aren't sure of', but I am sure that this upgrade will work. I just need the battery to jump it." He said, hooking up a fairly large battery to the motor. It was almost as if he was hooking up a car battery to a car. Using the last bit of juice in the battery, the engine hum returned and the light grew bright enough to see well. A silence stood between the two as they left the room, entering a cockpit helm sort of room.
"See, I told you Minnie. Its working much more efficiently now." He said smugly, as he pointed to a screen showing a radar-like program. Ms.Minnie rolled her eyes and sat down in a chair. "Zach, why did...we and everyone else leave earth?" She asked, a slight hint of her old curiosity hidden within the question. Zach hesitated for a moment, and sighed. "Because. Just because, sometimes you need to do things. Despite the consequences, or previous doubts. I'll be in stasis while the ship gets us to the next jump point. You can stay up if you feel the need to." He walked off, and the sound of the capsule opening could be heard shortly thereafter. Turning to face the stars watching her through the ship's window, she silently thought about what he said.
