It was the day after Gena left when I was making a sign for my park, Mesozoic park. On a large peace of plywood, nine feet long and two feet high, spray painted black and in with silver paint I wrote "Mesozoic park". I screwed the plywood to two nine foot posts, which I drove into the ground about a foot and cemented in place.

About a week later, the ostrich there ready to go in a reinforced chicken coop, outside. They seem to like leaves and nuts most, but have eaten bugs and lizards that strayed into the coop.

I decided to transplant a palm tree into the enclosure, so I take my shovel and pick a small palm tree, about three feet tall and dig around it until I can lift it out. I dig a hole in the enclosure, big enough for the roots and put some black ground to help it grow and put the tree into the hole and fill the gaps with more black ground and water it to help its roots grow.

About a week before the opening, I move the ostrich-saurus to there permanent enclosure. The first thing they do is go to the palm tree and peck the weird little fruit growing at the top of the tree.

I take a food trough and water trough and place them into the enclosure and fill them-up, putting some fruit in the food now and they ran over to eat and drink.

It was now the day my park opens, the ostrich can now see over the cement wall and are starting to turn black and white like a adult ostrich but they still have streaks of yellow.

I convinced Gena to come here again for opening day, she arrived on the boat with the 12 other people and furs, she asked "how did these people find out about this place?"

I said "national geographic and about three other documentaries, I have three other boats coming here. each with six passengers, come eight when we close for the day, one larger boat will come to pick them up"

Gena said "thats cool... You know, a hostel would be a good idea!"

I said "Gena, you are a bloody genius!" she blushed a little and I said "I will call my investors after I show you around" and she nodded.

Walking not far from the first group, the first stop was a bathroom, I said "this is the bathroom! It has a men's room" and pushed the door open and let it close. than said "and there is a room for women" I grabbed her hand and pushed the door open and let it close.

Our next stop was a little stand, not really a restaurant, but you can buy food and drinks there. I said "You can get food here" turning to face the man in the stand, I said "I would like a lemonade, please"

The man got me my lemonade and said "if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have this job! It's on the house!" he looked at Gena and asked "can I get you anything?"

Gena said "only if its free for me too!" we all laughed.

The man said "only because your good friends with Jake here... but don't tell Jake, he would have me fired!" we laughed and he gave Gena a lemonade.

We approached the first enclosure, the one holding my chickens, I said "my first dinosaur , they bring back some memories" and we continued to the ostrich enclosure.

I said "these guys are only a month old, they grow so fast!" Gena nodded.

We went back into the lab where we hatched the dinosaurs and I called my investors. I said "Gena had this awesome idea... a hostel!"

My investors said "you only have 15 people and furs in there yet, it seems a little early for that... but with those 15 guests, you have already made half the money you spent"

I said "I've made that much!" they nodded. I said "well, I have things to do... so bye!" and hung-up.

I refilled the food for the dinosaurs and on a megaphone, called out to the guests "WHO WANTS To SEE HOW I MAKE THE _ DINOSAURS _ " and everyone walked over yo me.

I led them into the lab, where I carefully opened a crate with two fertilized cassowary eggs, I take a green egg and place it on something that will stop it from rolling away. I make a tiny pin hole and say "I want to make this look like a raptor, so I have to modify the claw to be curved" I change the shape with the right genome.

I said "and I want to stop it from getting a crest and give it teeth" and changed that. I said "I want to change the wings into arms, hands and claws" so I change that. I say "And last of all, the tail" and changed that... I asked "any questions?"

Almost all the people raze a hand, I point at one and they ask "how long does it take for them to hatch?"

I said "A normal cassowary egg takes 50-60 days to hatch, so somewhere around that"

half the hands went down, I pointed at another person who asked "so, these aren't real dinosaurs?"

I said "birds are direct descendants of dinosaurs, so yes and no... I simply make birds into more dinosaur looking things" and all of the other hands went down. I said "later today I will have another 12 guest and I will be showing them the same thing with egg number two" and everyone left the lab.

After modifying the second egg, I asked Gena to stay the night. She did.

I said "Gena?"

She said "yeah?"

I said "I have to ask you something..."

She said "go on..."

I said "your so nice, your beautiful... I love your personality. I guess what I am trying to ask is" I sigh and ask "would you, like go out with me?"
