episode 5- the Terran deck

The red dragon looked back to Lord as if this was some sort of joke. “ Let me go now weakling and I will only take your lunch once a week.” Lord squinted his eyes. “ You have access to your partners deck threw a temp registered to your partner device.” The red dragon looked at his wrist. He growled as he hit the icon and a deck formed. Lord sets a deck of cards on the screen on his wheelchair and the deck was scanned. His deck formed in front of him as well. Lord looked over his cards and read the descriptions and then saw the battle arena they were watching earlier was empty. He engaged the systems projection systems to be displayed in that arena. The red dragon noticed this as he set his commander. “ I play Commander Scythe of Blood.” A red dragon in their true form with sharp curved metal ends on his wings. “ I play General Washington.”

Suddenly a Terran in ancient dress appeared on Lord's side commander zone. “ What creature is that?” Jake smiled discovering what Silvia has been working on. “ This is a Terran deck called the patriot revolution. Game master do your thing.” The sphere registered the cards in Lords deck as valid. “ I protest. These cards are not released.” The sphere spoke. “ He is beta testing this deck. Authorization is approved and the challenge stands. Wilcon the Redstern you have first turn.” Redstern growled angry as he drew his five magic cards. “ I play two rapid strikers on my front and two rapid defenders in the back. I equip Scyth with red war paint.”

The dragon did not look any different nor his stats changed. Lord looked threw his creatures and equipment as he drew his sixth magic card. “ I play two militia regular in my front and two cannons in the rear. I equip Washington with the saber of leadership.” Suddenly several soldiers took to Lords front and two cannon companies took to the rear. Leon leaned over to Hammer. “ These units seem strange. Very unlike your current military. They seem primitive.” Hammer chuckled as Lords turned ends and Redstern draws. “ They are based on this kingdoms founding general and his men. Even now he is considered the greatest general the kingdom ever had.” Leon grabbed his whisker. “ Interesting.”

Redstern sets a card and attacks. “ Rapid strikers take out his militia regular on the right.” Suddenly the two dragon warriors rushed forward and cut down the Terrans. “ I use militia regulars ability when destroyed in battle I summon a militia reserve token to take it's place till end of turn.” A single militia returns. Their stats went from 30/0/30/10 to 10/0/10/10. Redstern growled annoyed. “ Rapid defenders strike the other militia reserves.” The defenders rush the militia and do 20 in damage. “ Turn end.”

Lord draws a card and sets one. “ I upgrade my left cannon to artillery unit.” Two more cannons form around the first on Lord's left. “ Next I sacrifice my other cannon to summon my level two medical unit. Then use their special ability to heal my militia regulars.” The fallen soldiers return bandaged and injured. Their stats became 30/0/30/5. This fact did not escape Redstern. “ Next I activate saber of leadership. Which enables my commander to lead a single front line assault this turn. Before I attack I play cannon fire.”

The artillery on Lord's left side destroys all four of Redsterns creatures. “ What?” Lord squinted his eyes. “ Cannon assault allows me to do armor pierce damage to every enemy creature equal to each the attack of one siege type weapons attack. As long as I sacrifice a magic card for each effected. My artillery has an attack of 50. Now Washington lead the charge.”

Suddenly the General Washington appeared on horseback with his saber held high and pointed it toward the red dragon. He started to charge as musket fire came from behind him. He struck the dragon barely leaving a mark as the muskets hit his armor. “ Terran siege ability. Support fire. By reducing it's attack by 20 a Terran siege unit can support an attack.” Suddenly the cannons go off and the dragon had an aura of red around it. “ Red warpaint ability. My commander's max and current hit points are increased by the number of allies that died sense this item was equipped. This equip is then destroyed but the effect remains.” Lord sighs to the counter but knew it would happen as he hoped.

“ My turn. You made a grave mistake by discarding all your magic cards.” Redstern drew a magic card and smirked. “ I cast level 2 war captain in my rear.” A knight form dragon took to his right side. “ Summoning this enables me to summon two dragon strikers to my front.” Before he did anything else he noticed the set card and looked to see how much mana his opponent had but found his gauge different. “ What is that?” Lord looked to where Redstern was pointing and smirked. “ Terran's do not use mana. They have an experience and level system instead.”

Redstern was not sure about that but he guessed that meant that they could not play spells off turn. “ Dragon soldier on the left attack the artillery then War captain take down the militia.” The two dragons assault and the artillery was destroyed and a reserve token took the militia spot. “ My second dragon soldier attack the token.” The token was then destroyed. “ I use my set card, second assault and my whole front attacks your medical unit.” The medical unit fell. “ Now War captain attack the commander and Scythe follow it up.” It looked like Lord was going to lose when he activated his set card.

“ I activate my reserves in action. When it activates I summon all reserve tokens that survived the turn summoned back on the field. It blocks your commander.” Suddenly a reserve unit stands in front of Scyth and he is forced to attack it and back away. Washington survives the attack. “ I set one card and end my turn.” Scyth's attack went up by twenty when he destroyed a creature due to his king stand ability. Lord drew his card. “ I use the level up ability of Terrans. By using experience earned I increase the level of Washington three levels.”

Redstern growled angry to seeing the commander back up to 40 life. Then noticed none of his other stats changed. “ Then I summon level 3 Fiddle Fiddlers Faddle to my rear right.” Redstern was about to protest but Lord cut him off. “ I can sacrifice levels off my commander to summon higher power creatures. In this case I sacrificed three levels.” Redstern went wide eyed. “ That means.” Lord played another card from his army. “ I play artillery on my front. With Fiddle Fiddlers Faddle active ability I can summon another one of these from my army at the cost of a magic card.”

A second artillery appeared beside the first. “ Next the passive ability of Fiddle Fiddlers Faddle is I can bypass the rear guard with siege type units. Artillery fire on their commander.” Suddenly the two sets of Artillery start firing on Scyth. “ I activate my set card decoy commander.” Suddenly Scyth and the War captain switched places. “ I activate Washington's King Stand ability. By sacrificing an equip on him he negates and destroys a set card activated during a battle phase.” The saber of leadership was destroyed and Scyth returned to the path of the cannonballs. He screamed as he was destroyed.
