Advancing, Protector Of The Sins (1)
(Narrator's POV)
After a week, somewhere in the Sinnoh region at the forest, the duo, Jones and Buizel were going on an adventurous journey to be like anyone's dream, a pokemon master. The sun was setting, giving out a luminous glow of orangish and pinkish in colour. Jones went to settled down and started to set up a tent, while Buizel went to help to collect some dry branches for the fire. Just these few days after they met for the first time, the duo became fast friends, almost like their pieces of glass being glued together.
Jones and Buizel went on to sit beside each other in front of the fire, cuddling each other for more warmth. Then began to dig in to their meal, finding the silence too much to handle, Buizel spoke out, "Hey Jones..."
"Yeah Buizel, do you need something? Or are you still hungry? I can get you more food," Jones chuckled. Unknown to Jones, Buizel became uneasy and blushed furiously in embarresment, he then remained silent for a full minute before continuing.
"Well I didn't have the time to ask you this and kinda bugs me out if I didn't tell you. Why do you choose to be a pokemon trainer? Aren't there other jobs or things you can do besides this?" Jones was startled aback by the sudden and unthinkable question given by Buizel. Jones then stroked Buizel's fur on the back before he gave a reply,"Well then, I shall start form the beginning. It happen since I was 13 years old back then, my life is quite normal and like anyone's daily life, but however it isn't exciting as it is the same old routine which happens to be mostly study. I studied very hard is because my parents had very high expectations in order for me to bring honor to my family's name. Soon I became lifeless and bored, being desperate for something enjoyable and fun, that's the day whereby I saw 2 professional trainers battling with pokemon, and what touches me most is how they treat their pokemons as friends. That made me decide to be like them, and the battles are for extras. Then soon I had an obsession with pokemon so I managed to convine my parents to go. That's all and I hope I do answered your question." Jones sigh.
"Oh, I'm really sorry, I shouldn't have said it," Buizel quivered in response due to the upsetting reply given by Jones. "Please don't be. You have nothing to be sorry for. Besides it's good to tell others on an issues that needed to be told. Come on let's get some..." Before Jones could say more, a huge 'BOOM' coming form nearby. They jumped in shock and wondered what on earth made the noise.
They scuffled quickly, hoping that it was a pokemon battle so they can be entertained (They really love to watch pokemon battles) or even challenge the people there. As they reach there, they proceeded to hide in a nearby tree, so that they won't interfer with the battle. Both of they stood dumbfounded and grasp in shock as it wasn't a battle but a full torture!
There was a trainer in black vest, a lime green T-shirt, long blue jeans and black sneakers. There was also a name tag attach to the vest saying "Jasper". A bit further was a small, blue penguin like pokemon. Jones was trying to be silent as he was trying to take out his pokedex, muting before checking on the pokemon.
Piplup, the penguin pokemon. Because it is very proud of itself, it hates to accept food from others and is able to withstand cold by its fur.
"Wow...but why would a trainer be torturing such a small and innocent pokemon?" Jones thought. Then he heard a voice. "HEY! COME ON FASTER AND HARDER YOU PIECE OF CRAP! LIKE TO ACT SO TOUGH INFRONT ME! TAKE THIS!" It came from the trainer (Jasper). Then a 'SLAP' sound could be heard and echoed through the trees.
Jones saw Jasper went on to slap the poor pokemon and the pokemon hit into the tree. Watching that made his blood boiling quickly and full of anger could be seen on his face.
(Jones's POV)
I decided that was the finale straw and marched towards him shouting, "Hey! Stop that you good-for-nothing Jasper! Come on and face me then you snout!" Jasper saw me marching to him, he just gave a smirk of the face and replied in a sly manner, "What? I'm teaching this garbage to train harder and faster since he likes to act tough to me. Not forgetting that he dislikes the food I gave him. So this what he deserves! Besides pokemon are pets and tools only." Then he started laughing.
My hands began twitching as I desperately feel like punch Jasper into the face. I try to composed myself and I said in a threatening voice. "Since you like to do this, let's settle this into a battle!"
"Sure but let's have a deal, if I win, you will have to bow down to me that what I did was right and be my slave. If I lose, I will hand over Piplup to you then since you say that it's 'abusing' to pokemons. That's the deal. Be a wimp and don't accept or be a hero to accept," Jasper snickered. Jones thought for a moment before he have his answer, "Deal!"
"Ok let's start! Come out Shuckle!" Yelled Jasper. As Jasper threw the pokeball to the ground, a red beam appeared showing a turtle-like pokemon. "Wow another pokemon! I gotta check it out!" Jones said sarcastically due to the fact that he was fight for the small, blue penguin pokemon. As he wipe out his pokedex, he immediately checked.
Shuckle, the mold pokemon. Shuckle quietly hides itself in the rocks, keeping the body concealed in it's shell while eating berries it stored inside the shell. The berries kept inside the shell are turn into juice.
"Interesting. Well Buizel you can come out!" Jones instructed. Buizel then jumped up form the tree and gracefully made an appearance. "Alright Jasper let me take the first move! Buizel use Quick Attack to Shuckle!" Buizel then rushed forward and jumped to hit the Shuckle. "Oh no you don't. Shuckle use Safe Guard and then Sticky Web to that irritating Buizel!" Shouted Jasper. The Mold pokemon immediately performed a light green shield from Buizel's Quick Attack. Shuckle wasted no time to use sticky webs from it's mouth to Buizel's legs.
"What the heck I can't move!" Buizel said and panicked. "This is where it ends for you! I won! Hahahaha!" Jasper laughed.
