So there he was, deep beneath the rubble of a destroyed research facility, in what looked like some kind of underground bunker filled with tunnels, and dragging a pink, jelly-like morph, with a hair-style that closely resembled Misty's from her younger days, by its hand. This was not how Mark envisioned his day. His plan was to put out the fire, save some civilians and go to bed with two, if not four, of his beautiful girls Two fire types, two water types. A steamy situation indeed. Can't you think of anything other than sex? I sure can! But sex is MUCH more fun. Okay, you got me there, but we still need to find a way out. that's when Mark's attention was back on the pink morph being dragged behind him.

“How do we get out? " he didn't even look at her.

“I don't kn-OW! "

“Lie to me again and I'll break it. " it wasn't so much the fact that he almost died, it was the fact that Rei and Nina almost died which made him furious. Someone wanted him down here but two of his girls almost paid the ultimate price he so wasn't in a good mood. Girl or not, he would keep true to his word.

“I swear I don't know! " the morph cried out but Mark wasn't convinced. Faster that she could register, Mark had her up in the air by her throat.

“But you know something! " he yelled at her and tightened his grip “All of this was planned out to get me here, right? " the pink morph barely nodded “So you were supposed to bring me somewhere after you captured me, RIGHT? " she squeaked and nodded again “Then I suggest you bring me where you were supposed to or I swear to Arceus I will break both of your arms! " he suddenly dropped her on the ground and she landed with a thump and yelp. She grabbed her sore throat and glared at Mark through her tear stained eyes “You're lucky Rei and Nina are alive and well. " then he got only a few inches of her face “Otherwise, you wouldn't be. " she gulped as his words were dripping with venom and his eyes were showing her he has killed before and would do it again in a heartbeat. Mark rose and looked around “Get up. " she defiantly looked at him and refused to budge. Mark sighed and rubbed his temples, realizing he may have overreacted. As he began to crouch before her, the girl felt another round of threatening coming her way, but to her surprise, it didn't. Mark simply looked her in the eyes before speaking “Look, I don't know what's going on here but I'm pretty sure you're not doing this willingly. As far as I can tell, you're forced to do this for one reason or another. Right now, I don't care. I had a pretty good day until this got FUBAR- “

“What's that mean? " the girl raised a questioning eyebrow.

“Fucked up beyond any reason. " he quickly explained and continued “So I suggest you cooperate and after all this is done I get you somewhere safe, deal? "

“I'll never be safe from her. “ she said bitterly and looked at the ground.

“So a woman is behind this? " the girls eyes slightly opened once she realized her slip-up “Makes no difference to me. " he gently placed his fingers under her chin and raised her head “So now it's up to you, will you help me or will you risk getting hurt even more? " Mark rose to his feet again “Make your decision quickly. "

“She'll kill me. "

“Do you even know who I am? "

“Marcus Shannon- “ eye-twitch from Mark “-Thorson, Kanto and Johto champion. Biological parents dead, raised by Master Koga and goes by the name Shadowmaker. " Mark looked amused by her knowledge of him, more precisely the Shadowmaker part.

“Then you know what I am capable of. I have an entire clan of highly trained assassins behind me, the strongest morphs in all of Kanto, Johto and Hoenn, not to mention legendary Pokemorphs who were thought to be long dead. "

“Legendary? They didn't say anything about legendaries! " with this revelation she thought Mark just might have a chance to keep her safe from her.

“Who's they? "

“It's a long story. " she raised her arm for Mark to take “If you promise to free me I'll tell you everything. " Mark smirked victoriously and accepted her outstretched hand, helping her stand up.

“I promise. " they smiled at each other “So, who is she and who are they? "

“They are Team Rocket and she is- “ before she could finish, her eyes suddenly glowed purple and a unfamiliar voice spoke through her.

“That's quite enough, Ditto. " the new voice spoke calmly “I'd like my special guest to meet me in person, so don't you get chatty. " the Ditto's eyes remained purple but her voice spoke through sounding monotone.

“Yes, Mistress. "

“Who are you? " Mark narrowed his eyes, not liking someone was able to control a Pokemorph so easily.

“You will find out soon enough. " after a light chuckle she spoke again “Now be a good boy and let my Ditto's take you to me. "

“I'm not going down without a fight. "

“Oh I wouldn't expect anything less of you! Now come my darlings, seize him! " with that, the Ditto's eyes went back to normal and she shook her head to clear it.

“So your name is Ditto? "

“No, that's what we are. " Mark could swear she looked disgusted by that “There are many of us but my sisters are zombies, failed experiments with no self-consciousness. "

“So what makes you special? "

“I am the last one before they succeeded in their experiments, before they created her. " the way she spoke about her mistress showed she held great resentment towards her. Mark would soon find out why.

“Then take me to her. " he cracked his knuckles “I'd like to have a nice chat with her. " the pink girl smiled at her potential savior and agreed to help him. That is, until the others began creeping around the corner, literally.

“They're here. " she said coldly and looked behind Mark. Once he did the same, Mark felt like he was in a horror movie. The dim-lit tunnel was long and shadows began appearing around the corner followed by quiet laughing. The voices were getting closer and once the owners appeared around the corner Mark was truly disturbed. They looked like the one behind him, but these Dittos appeared more deformed, fluid, like they were barely holding together HOLY! What the hell are they?

“Come with us… " a creepy chorus of twenty or so Ditto-zombies rang through the tunnel Not creepy at all.

“That's a really disturbing sight. " Mark said and readied himself for the upcoming fight.

“Tell me about it. " his companion agreed and got ready herself “They say you can't pick your family but this is just too much. "

“Only twenty of them? “ Mark grinned victoriously before adding “This'll be too easy. "

“Wait for it… " as if on cue, the deformed Dittos began shifting their forms, each one taking on the form of a different Pokemorph, all naked mind you, but with the same dot-like eyes and a straight line for a mouth. Nothing too dangerous, just your average Raticates, Ivysaurs, Growlithes and the likes.

“If I weren't where I am right now I would find this totally awesome. " Mark was genuinely amazed at their ability and remembered one certain pink Pokemorph who could- “Hold on a sec! Were they trying to duplicate Miu? " his companions eyes went wide.

“You mean Mew? How do you know Mew? "

“Her real name is Miu and Mew was a mistranslation but that's not the point! " he looked back at the Dittos, or rather at the various morphs whose shape and powers they took “Well, did they? "

“Yes. "

“And your mistress is a success? " once the girl didn't answer he actually felt a shiver down his spine. He knew Miu was insanely powerful, she was the first the first daughter of Arceus after all, and if they, whoever they were, managed to clone her and the clone was an evil version of Miu, they were- Fucked.

“So what's the plan? " she asked him and took a small step back from the advancing failed clones.

“First, you need a name. "

“Say what now? " she almost fell down after that question “Is this really the time to talk about that? "

“Mai- “ she actually liked the name on the first go “-if what you said is true, and your mistress is a successful clone of Miu, then we might as well have some fun before dying. "

“You can't be serious! "

“I've seen first-hand how powerful Miu is, and yeah, we're probably dead. " Mark wasn't kidding with this one. Even if he somehow managed to contact all of the legendary Pokemorphs he knows, they would have a hard time fighting the clone. Only Miu would be able to take her down if the clone wasn't more powerful than her. Therefore, run, and hope for the best. Mark was brave and strong but he was not stupid “To the nearest exit please. " Mia growled in frustration.

“We have to go through them first! " she pointed at her sisters and Mark nodded.

“Got it! " he quickly got into action and charged at them with Mai closely behind. The, out of the corner of his eye, Mark saw Mai changing forms and shift into, an also naked, perfect copy of a Zangoose Imagine the possibilities with this one! Really not the time! Mai used her new skills to slash her way through her family and soon joined Mark on the other side. The duo made a run for it but something was definitely off “This was too easy. " Mark calmly stated but continued running anyway.

“I agree. " Mai's voice change caught him off-guard but he figured it had to do with her transformation “They're planning something. " as soon as they took the corner where the first troops arrived, they were met with another group of already transformed Ditto's waiting for them. Mark and Mai skidded to a stop and soon found that the previous group was already behind them and had them surrounded.

“It's a trap! " Mark exclaimed and tried to work a way out.

“Thank you, admiral Ackbar. " Mai said with an annoyed roll of her eyes.

“You watched Star Wars? " Mark asked while scanning their enemies.

“I've been down here a long time, had to pass it somehow. " Mai used Swords Dance to sharpen her claws for the upcoming fight “This won't be as easy as before. "

“Tell me about it. " Mark looked at the various morphs the Dittos have taken shape of and tried to come up with a plan. Right now he really wished Rei or Nina fell down here with him. They were strong enough to take on all of them with ease. Mark on the other hand could manage to take on one half of their attackers but there was still the problem of Mai's battle capabilities “Tell me something, what's stopping her to control you? " why he didn't ask this before remained a mystery to him. He could've taken a knife in the back at least ten times now.

“She can't control me. " Mai said with anger “What you saw earlier was the extent of her influence over me. I don't know why or how and honestly I don't care. However, she is strong enough to wipe me out in a single blow. " Mai was the last before this Miu clone was created, so perhaps there was a different link between the two of them and the previous Dittos? Trying not to dwell much on it, Mark simply nodded and went back to the task at hand, survival.

“Can you fight? "

“Better than all of them combined. "

“Then let's show em' what we- Now what? " all Dittos, excluding Mai began changing back to their original forms and just stand there being creepy “They really give me the creeps. " he then looked at Mai “No offence. "

“None taken. " she wondered what they were doing and soon got her answer when their eyes began glowing. To her shock, they started to connect with one another and soon two large pink puddles were in place where the two Ditto teams once were “What are they doing? " Mai asked in confusion since this was the first time she was seeing this. Then, to their horror, two huge Dragonites formed from the Ditto puddles and looked at them with their blank expression Those have got to be the biggest knockers I've ever seen! Seriously?

“Why didn't you transform into one of those? " Mark asked while pointing at the two Dittonites.

“Because I can't, okay? " she answered in annoyance. This Zangoose was so far her most powerful transformation “I didn't even know they can merge together like that! “

“This can't end well. " thinking it couldn't get worse the Dragonites began charging Hyper Beams “Are they crazy? " unleashing this kind of attack in here would level the place completely.

“This doesn't make any sense! She said s_he_ wanted you alive! "

“Guess plans change! Brace yourself! " the two giant morphs completely blocked any escape so Mark figured this was it, closed his eyes tightly while covering his head with his arms, and braced for the upcoming impact. Then a wall shattering behind them and blinding lights engulfing the room, two warm and furry bodies hugging him from each side, followed by the Hyper Beams hitting something told him help arrived. Once he opened his eyes he realized Rei and Nina were holding on to him for dear life, Azura baring her sharp teeth towards the Dittonites _while holding a knocked-out Abra copy by its throat in her right hand and Misaki looking badass as hell in her previously torn dress, producing a Mirror Coat in each hand to each of the _Dittonites. Her already furious expression intensified when she activated the special effect of the move and sent the Hyper Beams back at their users and completely obliterating them. Since Mirror Coat also affected it's user, Misaki began falling in exhaustion but Mai caught her before she could hit the cold floor.

“Thank Arceus you're alive! " Rei cried and hugged Mark even tighter.

“I should have known there was something wrong with that Sudowoodo! " Nina did the same while blaming this whole situation on herself. She believed she was smarter than that and that her slip-up could've cost Mark his life. Being ever caring and loving to his girls, Mark hugged them back and tried to comfort them.

“It's okay, I'm fine, right? " the duo was still sobbing into his shoulders “You're not getting rid of me that easily. " he then specifically looked at Nina “And Nina? " the Ninetales refused to look at him, her eyes puffy from crying “This is NOT your fault, okay? " she didn't reply “Nina, look at me. " he gently raised her head “There was panic and chaos everywhere, everyone was occupied saving lives, including you. There was no way you could have known. "

“But- “

“Nope, not your fault. " Mark smiled a reassuring smile at his lover “Besides, you found me and saved my life and I love you all even more for that. " Mai raised a questioning eyebrow, thinking there was something more to it here. Her suspicions were cleared when Mark gently cupped Nina's chin and kissed her softly on the lips. Not being the one to break a moment, Mai remained quiet.

“I honestly thought I lost you. " Rei said and decided to steal a kiss from him, not that he minded. Mai wondered just how far this relationship went but Azura decided to be Azura.

“So sorry to break this heart-warming moment, but what do I do with this? " she raised the unconscious Abra but it suddenly dissolved in a pink puddle “Son of a- WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT? “ she waved her arm around, trying to get the remaining goo off her hand.

“That was my sister. " all except Mark looked at her in confusion. Said trainer slowly untangled himself from Rei's and Nina's hug and stood up.

“You sure it was not your cousin? "

“Aren't you hilarious? " the girls almost jumped on their spots when Mai returned to her original pink form.

“Would somebody care to explain what's going on before I start biting heads off? " Azura demanded answers and by Arceus she will get them. Her precious trainer almost died today and she demanded to know whose head she had to detach from their bodies. Deciding to give a quick update, Mark did just that but his explanation left even more questions.

“Why doesn't she come for him personally? " Nina wondered, refusing to let go of Mark's arm.

“And why him? " Rei asked while doing the same with Mark's other arm. Meanwhile, to the team's surprise, Azura was helping Misaki stand on her own feet.

“Her DNA is still unstable so she can't actually move from her life support. " Mai then rubbed her chin in thought “But why she wants Mark remains a mystery to me. "

“Guess I'll just have to go ask her. " Mark said with a determined look.

“Like hell you will! " his four girls said in protest and Mark felt a little warm inside knowing his girls didn't want him to get hurt.

“I appreciate your concern, but if that clone gets free then we're all dead. " Mark slowly untangled himself from Rei's and Nina's grip “So whether you like it or not, I'm going over there and try to talk some sense into her, emphasis on try. " noticing a round of protests coming, Mark quickly continued explaining his plan further “You four get yourself somewhere safe and try to contact Miu any way you can. I hope I can stall her clone long enough for her to appear before things go downhill. "

“What about her? " Nina pointed at Mai who stood there, internally preparing for one of the girls to rip her apart for pulling Mark down here in the first place.

“She's been helping me and she knows her way around these tunnels. " Mark then put a reassuring hand on Mai's shoulder “Mai will lead me to her and if all goes well she'll come live with us. " saying the last part with a large smirk, all the girls almost popped a vein while Mai looked shocked “Everyone needs family and friends, some more than others. " he gave Mai a reassuring smile “And let's not forget about Gloria, hmm? " the dark Mightyena was once part of Team Magma and while everyone was apprehensive about her at first, she became a valuable member of Mark's team and everyone took a liking to her. Especially Nina who loved Gloria's dark humor “So, if Mai agrees, after all of this is over I'd like to send her to live at my house where she can see what a real family is like. " Mai was speechless to say the least. Never had someone offered her something so generous, or anything for that matter “I'm sure you four don't mind, right? " when his girls didn't say anything he frowned a little “I'm pulling the Master card right now. " all four then sighed and nodded in agreement. They didn't like it but they knew everyone deserved a second chance.

“I don't know what to say… " it appeared as though Mai's eyes began to water.

“Say you will keep him safe until we get help. " Rei told the Ditto with a stern look.

“Or I will bite your head off. " added Azura with a snarl.

“Maybe I'll curse your for a thousand years. " Nina's tails were slightly moving behind her “Haven't done that in a while so I might mess up and make it a few thousand. Who knows? "

“I believe they said it all. " Misaki joined in, Azura still holding her steady “Just bring him back to us. "

“I will. " Mai nodded, now determined to live through this and get a chance for a normal family.

“Great, now let's get going. " before leaving though, Mark gave his girls a big group hug and to Azura's and Misaki's delight, their first kiss. Not risking to get pounced by the two again he quickly followed Mai down the long tunnels.

“They really love you, you know? " Mai said while leading them towards their fiercest enemy yet.

“I know. " Mark smiled warmly and continued walking, hoping the girls will manage to reach Miu in time.

Back home…

May slowly began hating her new life. If she wasn't so determined to reestablish her friendship with Mark, she would've thrown in the towel long ago. Simply put, Roxy and Kay have been driving her crazy. She knew it was because of her past actions but May was close to the edge now. This was the fifth time she had to clean the hallway after Roxy ran inside with muddy feet and made a mess. Growling and letting out many choice words under her breath she didn't notice Kana standing behind her.

“Don't worry, It'll pass. " jumping to her feet May's face went pale. She did say pretty nasty things about Kay and Roxy in her ramble “They are very protective of Mark, especially Roxy. Probably even more than Rei and Nina combined. "

“I noticed. " May said bitterly, remembering how the Arcanine greeted her when she arrived at their doorstep.

“Roxy's life wasn't always flowers and sunshine. "

“What do you mean? " May didn't know about Roxy's past and the Arcanine intended to keep it that way. Even back when the two were friendly to each other, Roxy never talked about it even when asked.

“It's not my story or right to tell, I just want you to understand how she feels. " Kana then approached May, towering over her and making May feel slightly intimidated “I am older and more understanding than the younger girls are so I'm not chasing you around with ridiculous tasks and making a mess everywhere I go. " she gave the girl a smile, trying to get May to relax “What happened, happened, and we can't change that. I don't like it, I still get angry thinking about it but I dealt with it and moved on. " May looked down in shame “Mark means the world to us. He helped each and every one of us when anyone else would simply walk away. He risked his life for us so many times we were beginning to think he was suicidal. " both chuckled a little, knowing that Mark sometimes acted without thinking when his loved ones were in danger “So if anyone messed with him, that person can be damn sure we will return the favor ten-fold. " May gulped a little “But don't worry, Mark asked us to not go hard on you so you're in the clear. "

“Wait! " May looked at her in disbelief “You mean they are taking it easy on me? " from the horrors she had seen while working here, May felt this was hell.

“You how no idea how easy. " then Kana remembered something from back in the day “You know, there was this one time in Johto when some paparazzi took photos of Mark showering and tried to blackmail him. " May somewhat dreaded the rest of the story “Mark didn't know a thing about the photos and the blackmail letter he received, after all, we did read it and seen the copies first. "

“Do I want to know what happened to him? "

“I would like to as well. " Kana said in wonder which made May confused “All I know is that Nina went to have a little talk with him and next thing we know, he disappeared. " May eyes almost popped out “What I mean is, he fled the city and was never heard from again. " May nodded in understanding , knowing Nina could be scary as hell “Roxy said she saw him somewhere in Hoenn months later and upon seeing them he paled to the point of looking like a piece of chalk. To this day no one knows what Nina did to him. “ Kana was actually enjoying this little flashback while May was thoroughly disturbed “Oh well, you should be fine. If Mark allowed you to work here then you're on the right track to regaining his trust. " the Kangaskhan gave the girl a reassuring smile before leaving for her room.

“What have I gotten myself into? " May sighed deeply.

“Hey! Cleaning lady! " Roxy yelled from the end of the hallway and pointed to more mud spots on the floor “The floor ain't going to clean itself! "

“Yes, right away! " May saw Roxy grinning before going to unleash chaos somewhere else “But this'll all be worth it in the end. " the girl then vowed to herself “I will get Mark's trust back even if it's the last thing I do! " with new found determination May set off to clean the messes Roxy and Kay were creating all around the house.

Back in the tunnels…

“So that Abra was supposed to grab on to me and teleport us away while you were incinerated by the Hyper Beams? " Mark asked, walking behind Mai.

“That's my best guess. "

“Now I really hope we can get Miu here. " truly hoping so because every scenario he came up with ended up with a bang. The legendary morph was their only option for a good outcome.

“How did you met Mew anyway? "

“It's Miu and that's a long story which I may or may not tell another time. " Mark saw a light at the end of the tunnel, luckily, not that famous tunnel “Guess we're here. "

“You ready for this? " Mai asked with concern, knowing full well this could be her end.

“Nope. " Mark shrugged “Then again, I never am but somehow I survive. Barely… " he adds quietly at the end. The two look at each other and after nodding decide to step inside the room. Inside, they were met with utter chaos as equipment, furniture and, to their disgust, bodies were lying around. In the center of it all was a white creature that had some sort of armor and tubes attached to it.

“Welcome to my humble home. " once the creature spoke Mark identified it as her.

“You could've cleaned up a little. " Mark replied, trying to appear unimpressed, but suddenly a table was flung inches from his head and he seriously rethought his actions “Then again, it has that feng shui feel. "

“Keep talking and I'll kill you sooner than I have to. " the creature spoke coldly and slowly turned towards Mai “Hello, traitor. " to its surprise, Mai stood defiantly and glared at her mistress “At least you brought him to me. "

“Why do you want me anyway? " Mark asked and stepped forward “And what's your name? I can't keep calling you her, _mistress, bitch-_AAAAAAARGH!!! " excruciating pain shot through his head and Mark was down on his knees in an instant.

“Arrogant swine! " the creature then flung another table at him which found it's target and shattered on impact.

“STOP IT! " Mai ran to help Mark who was now hurting all over.

“ENOUGH! " purple energy exploded around the creature and the armor and tubes were simply vaporized “You're lucky I need you alive, Mai, otherwise you'd been dead the moment I set my eyes on you! " through squinted eyes, Mark managed to get a look of her and his other half liked what he saw. A beautiful white, hourglass body with a long purple tail, small blunt horns on her head and what appeared to be a tube going from her head to the spine. The most unnerving thing, however, were her eyes, purple eyes filled with hate and anger, but also something else, something Mark couldn't quite place. Hang on…

“Why would you need Mai alive? " Mark was barely able to speak “If you're so powerful as I believe you are, why would you need her? " when all he got was a grin from her and Mai stiffening, Mark felt he hit something “What? "

“Ooooh… So you didn't tell him? "

“Tell me what? " Mark looked at his ally for an answer but all she did was look at her mistress in rage.

“Nothing. " Mai gritted through her teeth.

“Come now don't be shy. " she slowly walked towards them “Tell him. " once she was close enough she knelt before Mark “Tell him how we are connected. Tell him how, if you die… " then she finished with a wicked grin “I die. "

I've got no excuse for taking this long. I just hope this chapter makes up for something. I know I said that there will be a lemon in this chapter but I decided against it during the writing process.
