Ch 18. Deeper in relationship…

Phillip gave a stretched when he got out of the vehicle, the ride was a few hours but the mall they came to was perfect what they came to do. The boy looked over to his aunt while she to walked passed them, busy rummaging through her purse, he quickly caught up to her with the others close behind. “So how long do we have?" He asked her.

“As long as you want dear, I'm in no hurry." She responded. “I'm just here to help with money if needed." His aunt swung her bag over her shoulder and smiled.

“We have money for him to spend ma'am." Husvor responded.

“Alright then, if you need me then just give me a call." Phillip thanked her again and watched his aunt walk off and into a jewelry shop. Phillip shook his head thinking he should have known thats where she was going to head to first.

“Well lets get the easy one out of the way first." Phillip said. Blaferis and Husvor both nodded in agreement while following their human to a skateboard shop. It was easy for them to make it to the shop since people we moving out of there way while staring at the anthros that was following close behind the human. Phillip walked into the shop and was greeted by one of the workers as usual. She asked if he needed any help with anything.

“Thanks but we're just looking right now." Blaferis answered as he walked in and started to look at all the boards hanging on the racks. “So your brother likes these things?"

“He use to have two but he broke one last spring so I figured he could use another."

Husvor walked up and looked at them as well. “How much money you have left?"

“Umm…" Phillip thought before quickly pulling out his phone and called up his bank. After finding out he had a bit more money then he thought he found a pair of shoes that he hoped that his brother would like and board.

They spent a few more hours looking around for gifts for his parents. Phillip got a minor headache now and then but nothing like they day before, the anthros kept showing concern but the boy kept telling them that he's fine. As expected while they made their way through the mall, people was fascinated keeping an eye on them while they shopped. Phillip did get some amusement when they walked near the food court and Scrit took off to see what all was available, the dog ended up settling on a cinnamon coated pretzel. “Think we're ready to get going." Blaferis suggested.

Phillip pulled out hit phone and checked the time. they were there for a few hours already and they managed to get all the shopping done that he needed. The anthros all bought little things for gifts as well.

“Yeah, I'll call my aunt and let her know we're done and we'll met her at the van." he said. “Thought there is one more place I do need to swing by to pick something up."

The boy sat up followed by Blaferis. Husvor propped up onto his elbow and gave his full attention to his human. Phillip looked down at his lap, twiddling his fingers to calm himself a bit. There was a tree that I come upon but when I go around it I end up tripping over the root. Scrit was first to attack with a swing of his staff from the side. The Dalmatian took a few steps back before rushing up and countered with his elbow moving to the boy. Phillip just lifted his elbow up as well and concentrated pulling what he needed from Husvor and was able to lock the dog's arm and turned his body away from his opponent. Scrit let out a small yelp upon landing but he ended up started to laugh. Phillip removed his blindfold before reaching down to help the dog up.

“Guess that's all for now." Husvor said while walking up to the two.

Scrit nodded before heading into the house. Blaferis and husvor both walked up their human and each gave the boy a lick on the cheek. “Too bad you guys broke your swords. Missing all the fun."

“Can't." Phillip stated. “Tomorrow is Christmas."

Phillip smiled back before turning to the house and headed inside. He walked through the living room to see his brother and mom napping , his father should be home in a few hours.
