Chapter 6: A New Life
This was almost 9,000 words. Jesus. Hope you guys like it. I'm a kinky beast.
A KINKY BEAST.
Elijah
Wolves healed fast, but not fast enough, it seemed. Week three had come and gone, and due to complications, Dice had to have more surgery. At least the worst was over, and he was days away from discharge. However, he'd need physical therapy for a few months since they had to operate on his spine.
His long-term recovery depended on the next few weeks, and the road was going to have some potholes. Believe it or not, the time we spent in the hospital together may have been for the best. A lot of fledgling relationships start great, but once something serious happens, it becomes a test of commitment. It was a test we passed.
I never left his side, and he never stopped being charming, even in those moments where he should have been angry at everything, especially when the doctor said he might never walk unassisted again. The news upset him, and he cried a little. It hurt to see him so broken.
“You shouldn't have to do this. If you wanted to leave, I wouldn't blame you."
He didn't say that once, and it got to the point where I'd tell him to shut up whenever he'd try to give me an out. I knew what I wanted, and he was not an obligation. In fact, despite everything, we made wonderful moments together.
We'd talk for hours, at least until the morphine kicked in, and he'd pass out. He'd crack jokes, and we'd both start laughing until it hurt. Every day in this place brought us closer together, and now that week three was over, I knew what my choice would be.
“Dice," I said, giving the enormous wolf a shake. He snorted and looked up at me. He'd been dozing off for the last hour, only half-asleep, and I'd been re-watching one of my favorite series on stream to pass the time.
He cleared his throat, one eyelid drooping shut. “What's up?"
“It's Monday."
Dice yawned and cocked his head. “I'm sorry I haven't been more entertaining."
“Scoot over," I said, giving him a slight shove. The wires and IV tube were on the other side. He smiled and eased over to the side, groaning a bit.
I managed to get up onto the bed without hurting him or unplugging anything important, aside from my phone charger. We were up against each other, and I wrapped an arm around his neck, caressing him as best I could in such an uncomfortable position.
“We haven't been like this in a while," Dice said, his snout nearly touching my nose.
“Well, you're getting better, and I want to be next to you for a little while." I could hear his tail rustle under the blankets. “Are you hurting anywhere?"
“Nah, I'm good."
I paused for a moment, taking him in. He parted his mouth slightly, thinking I was going to go in for a kiss, but I had something better in mind.
“It's Monday," I said once more, wondering if he'd catch on. He closed his mouth and arched one eyebrow.
“Yes. That seems to be the case."
“Our three weeks is over," I said, pulling away from him. He locked up and his ears fell as though I'd given him the worst news possible.
“I—It is."
“I've decided," I said, giving his shoulder where my hand rested a slight squeeze.
“We never even got to go up our mountain. I've still been pretty useless. Shouldn't we wait until after I get out of the hospital?"
“Nah." He was so tense I thought he'd pass out. “I love the shit out of you, Dice, and I'm not leaving."
His breathing got heavier as he shifted his gaze from the television to my eyes.
“You love me?" He could barely whisper those words. Why was he so shocked? It's not as though my actions hadn't been clear already.
“A lot." I inched closer to his mouth. “I can't even picture life without you now. We've been practically living in the same room with each other for a month." I planted a light kiss on his thin, black lips. “If you think about it, this is a great way to start a life together. I've seen you at your worst, and I'm still here. And I know if it were me in that bed, you'd be right here with me too."
“I would," he choked out. “And I'll never leave you. Wolves mate for life, you know."
“Is that a vow?" Even though the conversation was serious, I felt we needed a bit of light-heartedness. “It's a little early for that."
“Marry me."
“What?"
“You heard me," he said, pressing a button to reposition the head of the bed. Now that we were in a sitting position, he was much more alert. “We don't have to get married right away, but I want you for my mate. You said you can't picture life without me, and I can't picture it without you. I love you. So marry me."
“You got a ring?"
His face lit up.
“I do, actually."
“That was supposed to be a joke." I gave him another confused glance. “When the hell did you get a ring?"
He grabbed his phone, giving it a slight tap.
“Remember when we were talking about the kind of jewelry we'd never be caught dead in, and you said that if you ever got married, you'd want one of those cool-looking titanium rings that glow in the dark?"
“No way, you got me one?"
“I thought you'd want something more expensive, but they do look neat." He reached for the table next to the bed and pulled the drawer open. In his hand was a small black felt box. He opened it and a stunning dark metal ring poked from the center. It was thick, with a crackled sapphire blue band that wrapped all the way around the center. It hadn't been in sunlight, so there was no glow yet. “So what do ya say?"
“You got this, and you didn't even know I was going to stay with you?"
“I kinda knew you were gonna stay."
“Could have fooled me a few minutes ago."
“Shut up and answer me." His grin widened.
“Of course I will." His hands trembled as he grabbed the ring from the box.
“I hope it fits." He held my hand and slid the metal band around my left ring finger. It was slightly loose, but it wouldn't slip off. The ring looked amazing with my skin tone—very masculine. While the ring was perfect, it was the sentiment that made it beautiful.
I studied the ring more, letting reality ruin the moment. “Things are about to get a lot more interesting for sure."
“What do you mean?"
“There's a lot we need to figure out, like, where we're gonna live, what to do if our marriage isn't legal…" I thought of something else that might not go down well. “Damn, you've still gotta meet my mother. She's kind of… religious and doesn't know I'm gay. This might actually kill her though."
“Well," he took my hand and leaned back against the bed, relieved despite my concerns, “There are only three countries where our marriage would be legal and where Meliorans have the same rights as humans."
“I see you've already thought about this too."
“I've been in a hospital bed for a month. I've had a lot of time to read." He tapped his phone again and began scrolling. “And all I've been thinking about lately is taking us away from all this."
“Leaving my family is going to be hard."
He looked up from the screen. “It's not like we won't visit them or anything, or we could fly them out to visit us."
This was probably going to be a conversation to be had in person. I knew what Mom was like over the phone, and maybe if she met him, she'd be more open-minded. “So, what countries are you looking at? I'll likely have to jump through some hoops to get my NP license approved."
“You don't have to work, Eli. We've got more than enough money." A wicked grin darkened his face. “We'd make a killing on Mfetish dot net."
“Yeah, all that would cost is my self-respect," I said with a stifled laugh. “I love what I do, Dice. I spent years in school training for this." We stopped talking for a little while, and I knew he was dozing off again. “Hey." I gave him a shove. “Where are you thinking we should live?"
“Hütsven," he grunted. “I was surprised to see it as one of the three countries."
“Ah, the place with all those naughty mountains."
Dice yawned, barely able to keep his eyes open. “It's perfect. The scenery is beautiful, the laws aren't ridiculous, I'll have rights, and we'll be legal." He chuckled. “And we'll get to fuck on all those naughty mountains."
“That's probably not as fun as you think it's going to be."
“Have you ever done it before?" He asked, forcing one eye open.
“Have you?"
“No, but it's all I've been able to think about lately." His drowsiness didn't stop him from pulling me in with a growl. “I'm going to be so pent-up when we're out of here."
That was going to be either fun or terrifying. As soon as he was well enough for intimacy, I'd find out.
“You still gonna let me boss you around?"
He laughed again. “Well, you're the alpha now, so…"
“You know that whole alpha stuff's only going to work in the bedroom, right?"
“That's fine with me… oh!" He grabbed his phone again, tapping the screen, his browser was open to a dark-themed website. “You got your ring, and I want this."
He handed it to me, and I couldn't help but cover my mouth, stifling a snort of laughter when I saw the image. It was a studded black leather collar, and there were two models. One was a human holding a leash attached to a huge gray wolf wearing the thing around his neck.
“What?" he asked, lightly shoving his elbow into my side. “Don't laugh at me. I think it would look good."
“You're gonna wear this in public, every day?"
“Hell yeah." He pointed to the phone again, at the image below the models. “And I want this tag telling everyone who I belong to."
“You're so fucking weird." I kissed him and then looked back at the phone screen. “This is kinda hot though."
“Right?"
“Fine. You'll get your collar and your tag."
“Get the leash too."
“I'm not putting a leash on you in public. I draw the line there, pal."
“Nah, that's for private," he said. Every sharp tooth in his mouth showed through his grin. “I'm not that weird."

Dice's expensive foreign sports car was a lot roomier inside than normal. There were vehicles specifically designed for the larger physiques of Meliorans, and it looked like no expense was spared here.
When his father died, Dice became the sole heir to the estate, despite having four other siblings. Wolf laws stated that the one who made the challenge and won would get it all, but that came with a lot of stipulations—one of which being he'd have to remain in the pack.
He left everything behind, except for the car and the fifty million he had stashed away. It was more than we'd ever need or be able to spend, considering the modest life we wanted to have. It was more of a safety net than anything.
We crossed out of the Tesak territory hours ago, but there was still an uneasy feeling the further we traveled into human territory. We were going back to my hometown to visit my family, and while I mentioned to my mother I'd be bringing someone with me, I didn't go into further detail. I had to be tactful with this.
I glanced over at Dice, who was singing along to one of his favorite songs on the playlist. It was horribly off-key, but man, was it fun to belt out the lyrics with him just as badly. He smiled along with me, sitting tall in the driver's seat with his collar and tag. It actually looked a lot more tasteful than I thought, giving him a handsome, regal appearance rather than looking like the weird kink he'd put on display everywhere we went. It matched the black leather coat and faded jeans he wore.
The weather was unusually cool for this time of the year, having just turned October. Dice had been out of the hospital for a few weeks, but we had to contend with the physical therapy. What should have taken months took less than a quarter of the time, and the doctors were astounded. He still walked with a labored gait, but all things considered, he'd made a full recovery.
Of course, I knew his motivation for pushing himself so hard. He was so damn horny and ready to get me alone. There were a few times I'd get him off in the bathroom when no one was around, but it was a far cry from the perfect, intimate night we had planned. He was too large for a proper blowjob, and jerking off a wolf was a lot harder than it looked, especially since he was so sensitive and I had to use a different technique. Our first real moment together was going to have to be slow and methodical, especially if he was going to be on top at some point.
The music ended, and I paused the streaming app.
“When we get there, stay in the car until I get you."
“You're overthinking this," he said, grabbing my hand while keeping his left hand on the steering wheel. “I wish you would have told her on the phone. At least it would have given her time to prepare."
“My mom is not the type of person you give big news to over the phone, and there's a lot to unpack here."
“You worried she's not gonna approve?" I gave Dice a 'no shit' glare. “You never know. She might like me."
“I love your optimism," I said, stroking his furry fingers with my thumb. “She's going to hate all of this."
“I don't want to stay in the car." His tone was soft and understanding, but there was a bit of irritation. “I'm proud of us. You should be too."
“I am," I muttered. “But you're not accustomed to discrimination yet. I am. As long as we're here, at my parents', or anywhere… people are going to look at us the way those nurses and doctors did in the hospital."
“You and I almost died." He paused and let go of my hand, placing it back on the shifting knob as we approached a red light. “Life is too short to give a fuck what other people think. I've done it too long, and I'm not going to anymore. We'll crush every stereotype, every taboo, every fear…" His tone grew more intense as the light changed to green and he gunned the engine. “Let's change the world, Eli."
He was so different now than the timid, quiet wolf I met back in July. This was Dice without the mask, and I loved him even more this way. He was free now, no longer having to pretend or hide away. Now that he was out, there was no putting him back in that box.
“Alright," I said, sighing as we turned onto my childhood street. “Let's get through this first before we start changing the world."
***
I took a deep breath and glanced at an eager black wolf before mashing the doorbell. Even though it took about a minute for anyone to answer, it felt like we were standing there for several.
The door opened, and my younger brother stared at me and then up at Dice, his mouth agape.
“Hey Aiden," I said as he walked outside, still eying Dice with awe. He was probably the first Melioran my brother had ever seen up close.
Aiden pulled me in for a hug. “Holy shit. They're a lot bigger in real life," he whispered in my ear.
I pulled away and wrapped a shaky right arm around the wolf. “Aiden, this is Dice," I said, hesitating with my words. “My boyfriend… well, fiancé."
He cocked an eyebrow and smirked. “Don't joke like that in front of Mom."
“I'm serious."
“Nice to meet you," Dice said, extending his giant clawed hand. My brother was still in a bit of shock, but eventually returned the gesture.
“Well, I'm outta here." He pulled his keys from his pocket. “This is going to get really awkward. Tell me how it turns out though." He looked up at Dice before jogging toward his car. “God damn."
We looked back as my brother jumped into the driver's seat or a red SUV. There was the look of nervousness I expected to see. After seeing that reaction, Dice was likely not so optimistic anymore.
“Elijah," Mom shouted from inside, causing Dice to jump. Pans clattered and a cabinet door slammed shut. The scent of soul food almost made me want to float across the floor toward the kitchen. I stepped inside and Dice followed me, his tail now tucked firmly between his legs.
“Where's that confidence from earlier?" I whispered with a grin.
“Shut up."
“I'm here," I said, stalking toward the dining room. The kitchen was in a closed off area next to it. I stepped in and Dice waited, out of sight.
“There's my baby boy," she said in her overbearing southern vernacular. She never seemed to change in appearance. She was a bigger woman, and always wore her hair up in stylish half-bun braids, no matter the occasion. “Look at how handsome you've gotten." She pulled me into a firm hug. “When am I gonna get some grandbabies?"
“Uh," I hesitated, pulling away. “So I've got some news."
“Oh?" she said, turning back to the sink filled with soapy water and grease-covered pans.
“I'm getting married."
She gasped, letting go of the rag before rinsing her hands.
“Oh praise the lord," she said, drying her hands before throwing her arms back around me. “You said you were bringing her. Where is she?"
“It's complicated," I muttered, pulling away from her. “You're probably not gonna like this."
She frowned and took a step back. “I don't care if she's white."
“Mom!"
“I mean, I'd prefer a nice Christian black woman, but as long as she treats you good."
“He." I could barely say it as averted my gaze.
“Excuse me?"
“He'll treat me good," I said, trying to decide whether this would be a suitable moment for Dice to step out from the shadows and scare the shit out of her.
“I see," she said under her breath as she turned back toward the sink. “Looks like I owe your daddy some money."
“Really?"
“He called it," she said, scrubbing the pan with a grimace. “Is he black at least?"
Sometimes she could be a little too narrow-minded, but her blasé reaction to my being gay surprised me. Where was the freak-out? Where was the melodramatic prayer for her son's soul?
“Well, yeah, I—I guess. It's probably not what you think though." I took a step back and peeked around the corner at a very shaky wolf. His tail was still between his legs, ears pressed to his head, while his eyes grew wide and glassy. He looked like a dog that had gotten into the garbage and made a mess everywhere. I gave him a nod, and he slowly padded into the light of the kitchen. He was so tall, his head grazed the frame of the entryway and he had to duck.
“Lord in heaven!"
“There it is," I muttered, narrowing my eyes. It was time to rip this bandage off. “This is Dice, and we're getting married. We're also moving to the east continent."
“Why are you doin' this to me, Elijah?" she asked, tears in her eyes.
“I love him," Dice said, his voice higher than usual. “I'll be a good ma—husband."
Mom folded her arms and glared at me. “This is a joke, right? You're both messin' with me right now, and I don't like this."
“This is not a joke," I said, grabbing Dice's hand. “We've been seeing each other for a while."
“I've seen the news, Elijah. These are the dangerous ones." She still wasn't even acknowledging Dice as a person, talking around him as if he were an animal that couldn't understand anything. “Of all the Meliorans… Why can't you just be normal?"
“Normal's boring," I said, half-jokingly. She shook her head, the scowl still plastered on her face. “Listen, I just came here to tell you this, and we won't stay long. Maybe one day you can cool down and come visit us."
“You don't know nothin' about the east. And how you gonna live? You got a job over there?"
“He won't have to worry about money, ever." That was actually a good idea. If Mom knew he was loaded, maybe she wouldn't be so against this.
“We've got fifty million in the bank, so I think we're set," I added.
Mom raised her brows and looked at Dice. “Fifty million?" He nodded, and she threw open the kitchen window. “Christopher!" she shouted my father's name. “Come meet our soon-to-be son-in-law."

We wasted no time getting the paperwork done before chartering a plane to our new home—a place Dice and I had only ever seen in pictures. His money helped expedite the process, so instead of six months to a year, it only took a few days. There was no way to know if we'd even like it there, but we had few options. The world was changing, but change was slow. Meliorans would always be a fraction of the population, and many countries didn't know how to handle them in their laws. Were they people granted the same constitutional rights, or were they 'the other'?
Hütsven was the only real safe haven, having strong social protections and one of the strongest economies in the world. It was also a place where humans and Meliorans lived pretty well together, from what I'd gathered. The country was growing in population, the humans barely holding onto the majority as non-humans flooded in.
Dice was lying back in the first-class seat while I sat next to him, staring out the window at the flat blanket of clouds below us. The sky was an azure blue, the sun a blinding dot in the west. At this altitude, everything had such a clarity to it.
I shifted uncomfortably in my seat, still feeling pain from the other night. I was on top first, which felt so odd. Being in that position with him so much larger made it hard to move his body in the directions I wanted him to go, but he certainly enjoyed himself with all the moaning and howling. I thought for sure someone would call the cops in that hotel.
When the time came to switch positions, it all ended before it even started. It hurt too much, and we had to stop. I made a few purchases I knew would help for next time. First, I had to train myself so that I could take him easier, and second, I needed to dull some of the pain. I was never big into poppers when I was younger, and as a nurse practitioner, I'd often lecture people about the dangers. 'Top' privilege, I suppose. I was never the one taking dicks that were too big for me until now.
It was doable. If the people in porn could do it, so could I. I just needed more prep. The seatbelt sign popped on, and I gave Dice a shove. If there was one thing the wolf was great at, it was sleeping through anything.
“Hey, we're about to land."
He opened his eyes and yawned before putting his seat up.
“You excited?" he asked, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.
“More like exhausted and anxious."
“I think the worst is over, Eli."
I slapped him hard on the arm. “The plane is about to land," I said, knocking on the faux wood panel in front of me. “Take-offs and landings are the most dangerous. You may as well have said 'what could possibly go wrong?'"
Dice laughed, but I was too on edge to find any of this funny. I hated flying. It didn't even matter that we were flying first class in a comfortable, secluded section of the plane, away from other passengers. The entire flight I was hyperaware of every strange noise the plane made. In fact, the quiet made everything worse.
“We're gonna be fine," he whispered, kissing me on the neck. “We survived my family and yours."
“And to think we were almost home free until the fucking plane crashed."
He laughed again, and I finally cracked a smile, despite being so morbid.
“Your mom likes me."
“That's yet to be determined." I gripped the armrest as the plane began a sharper descent. “She's not thrilled, but she took it well enough, I suppose." I shot him a serious look. “Never mention you were in the mafia if they visit us."
“I won't."
“Don't even let it slip." If she ever saw the bullet wound in my arm, she would freak out.
“That part of my life is over, and I've already forgotten it."
My ears popped, and the terrain got closer. It was stunning looking out at the land. The city was enormous and sprawling, traffic heavy on the roads, but off in the distance the alps lorded many thousands of feet over the towering skyscrapers, and the alpine wilderness got denser near the foothills. The sun was setting behind us, giving everything a sparking, reddish hue.
“Wow." The nervousness faded to excitement, finally. “This is breathtaking."
“And it's our home now," Dice said, pulling me against him as we both stared out the window. “I see at least four, maybe five different places we could fuck up there."
“I swear to God, you're not gonna let that go, are you?"
“We gotta do it." He said with a snorted chuckle. “It's in my head and it's not going away."
“I'm not in any shape to climb up those." The plane hit the runway so smoothly, I hadn't noticed we were on the ground until I looked out the window again. “How about we start small, and settle for a nice comfortable bed?"
“Or…" I groaned as Dice got that adventurous look on his face. “Now hear me out. You might like this. I hear there's a suite on top of one of these skyscrapers, and there's a room made of glass that overlooks everythin—"
“No!"
“Come on. Imagine, us up there, going crazy, and no one can really see us because the glass is tinted."
“What is your fascination with being up high while we're doing it?"
“Wouldn't you find it thrilling?" he asked, one ear off to the side.
“I've had enough thrills, Dice. And I can't exactly perform when I'm literally scared to death." The plane came to a stop, and I unbuckled my seatbelt. “I'm boring. Very, VERY boring. I hope you knew that before proposing to me."
“Fine," he said, stretching his arms before letting out another yawn. “No sky sex."
Though he was feigning disappointment, I knew this was something he really wanted to do. He was a kinky beast when I met him, and he's still the same kinky beast now. As weird as it is, I found that part of him endearing… to a certain point.
“How about I meet you halfway?" His ears stood straight. “Find us a suite with a big balcony on the top floor of a hotel. We'll do it out there."
“For real?" Dice got excited as he gave it more thought. “Someone… might see us."
I shot him a disgusted look. “I can't believe that turns you on too."
“Think about it. We'll be constantly looking over our shoulders when a plane or helicopter passes overhead, wondering if they saw us. Or maybe someone in another building has a full view, but we don't know it."
“Alright, I take it back. We're not doing that."
“Too late. It's in my head, and it's never going away," Dice said, standing up. “We're doing it. You got that leash in one of your bags?"
“Oh my God."
“You're gonna love it, Eli. It's that sense of danger, but we're safe. God, I'm gonna come so fucking hard I might dehydrate."
I glanced over at the flight attendant, who hurried past the open door of our section of the plane. She didn't look back, but I knew she heard everything. As embarrassed as I was, I couldn't help but laugh.
***
I spent forty-five minutes in the shower preparing for what we were about to do. My ass was lubed and properly stretched, and while I had a bit of fun doing it, I really hated what a pain in the ass this was—no pun indented. If I had to do this every time he wanted to fuck me, we'd have to plan far in advance, and I'd be sick of it after a few weeks. Maybe it would get easier once I'd done it enough.
The suite Dice ended up choosing was huge, and the balcony was, unfortunately, open. Very open. There was a hot tub out there, two cushioned lounge chairs, and a makeshift bed we made from every blanket and pillow we could find inside.
The sun had set an hour ago, and we were sitting in the hot tub, looking out at a clear sky, a brisk chill in the breeze. It would be a full moon tonight, but it hadn't yet risen over the mountains. Up on the fiftieth floor, the sounds of the city below weren't too bad, aside from the occasional siren.
Dice's ears were low and his posture hunched.
“There's a jet of hot water shooting up my ass right now, and I'm rather happy about that." A smile cracked the sour look on his face. “What's wrong with you?" I scooted close to rub his leg before moving up his inner thigh.
“Was just kinda hoping there'd be some daylight left."
I jerked my hand away. “Christ. You wanted us to be seen, didn't you?"
“Maybe." The slight smile widened into a raunchy grin.
“I'd ask 'who hurt you,' but given what I know, it wouldn't exactly come off as a joke." I stood and waded through the rolling water in front of him before climbing onto his lap, meeting his lips. “This is about as ready as I'm going to get." I went in for another deep tongue kiss before breaking away. “Get your ass out of the tub."
There was a slight shudder from beneath me, and Dice's eyes had that eagerness I saw back at my apartment in Tesak. “Yes alpha."
Man, that sounded weird, but I kept the humor to myself, lest I ruin the moment. This was his fantasy, but I really got into it each time.
His foot-paws touched the floor of the balcony as he stepped out of the hot tub. “Wait. Don't move," I commanded, grabbing the leather leash and oversized towels hanging from the lounge chair. His tail wagged faster, the more eager he got.
I clipped the leash through the hoop of the collar and pulled him down to his knees. Dice's legs shook as he got to the floor, his red, veiny cock out of its sheath, already at full mast. Wolves had incredible libidos, and I had a feeling Dice could go all night if we both didn't collapse from exhaustion first. I was kind of jealous of that.
While kneeling in front of him, I held out a towel, draping it over his head before rubbing.
“Eli," Dice grunted. “Come on."
“We're soaking wet."
“So? It's better that way."
“It's cold." I finished rubbing his head dry, but Dice pulled me into him.
“You're stalling. I'm taking over."
“The hell you are." I gave his leash a pull. “Get down on the blankets."
He grinned and did as I said while I grabbed the lube and bottle of poppers from one of the wooden tables next to the lounge chairs.
“I'm gonna try something different this time," I said, crawling next to Dice, who was still painfully erect as he looked up at me expectantly. After squirting a handful of silicone-based lube into my palm, I began massaging his length. It was almost burning hot, throbbing in time with his heartbeat. He moaned as I wrapped both hands around his thick shaft and worked them up and down.
“E—Eli!" Dice shouted, grabbing my hands. “How's this different from what you usually do? You're gonna make me come early."
“My master plan, foiled," I said jokingly as I squirted more lube into my hand, this time massaging it around my aching ass, letting my coated fingers slip inside. Even though it had been some time since the prep, I was still loose enough that this might work.
“You got this," he said with a grunted laugh. “I won't move unless you tell me to."
I wiped the rest of the lube onto my dick, giving it a few strokes as I prepared myself for the inevitable truth. Was I going to be able to take this wolf, or was this going to end in more disappointment? Grabbing the leash, I gave it a jerk, snapping Dice's attention.
“As long as I hold this leash, you move only when I tell you. If you come too soon, you're punishment's gonna be harsh." I stood up and walked into the room, grabbing a few things I'd forgotten. “And to ensure that you comply, I got these."
I stepped back out onto the balcony, holding two sets of restraints. One for his wrists, and the other would secure his paws. They were made of reinforced steel, supposedly strong enough that even the toughest Melioran wouldn't break them.
“Oh babe," Dice gasped, swallowing hard as a full-body shudder overtook him. “When did you get those?"
“A week ago. I had them mailed to my parents' house, so it'd be a surprise." I kneeled next to his paws and slipped the metal restraints around them, then adjusted the chain enough that his feet were tied together. Using the key, I locked it and moved up to his hands. I pulled hard on the leash, choking Dice just enough to get him to sit up.
“God damn," he whispered, grinning as his tail pounded the bedding. “Don't hurt me too much, please." That was code for 'be as rough as you want.' We also had a safe word in case things went too far, but neither of us had to use it—yet.
“Hands behind your back," I commanded, grabbing his right wrist, clapping the steel around it. After grabbing the other hand, I fastened it and pulled the chain taut before locking it in place. “Now, you're mine."
I pushed him back, and he fell flat onto the bed, his arms secure behind his back. After placing the keys on the table, I climbed over him, his slick cock sliding up the cleft of my ass.
Dice shook and moaned, and I thought for sure he was going to lose it. However, he somehow held on, remembering my warning earlier. I wasn't entirely sure what punishment I'd give him, but it would have to be something he didn't derive pleasure from—though finding that something was rather difficult with him.
I reached back and grabbed his cock, my fingers barely able to wrap around it now. Somehow it had swollen up even more than usual. Maybe going this hard on him wasn't such a smart idea.
Positioning myself over the tapered tip of his giant canine appendage, I guided it to the mark, allowing it to enter until I started feeling pain. He was barely in, and it was already too much. I gritted my teeth and sent hisses of air through them, letting it slide back out.
“Christ," I muttered, letting my head fall onto Dice's damp chest. The wolf said nothing as I glanced up to see a goofy expression. “Wipe that fucking look off your face."
He grimaced, looking away while pretending to be afraid, but his tail gave him away each time. I was definitely getting better at this, judging from the way his heart was racing.
After taking a sniff from the small bottle next to the lube, I felt light-headed but euphoric at the same time. Everything seemed to get hot, and I craved getting that monster to fit. I lifted myself away from Dice's chest and backed onto his eager dick, letting the tip pop back in. This time it was easier, and I descended as slow as I could. When I felt Dice buck under me, I grabbed the leash and yanked it. “Don't fucking move!" I pulled the leash again, and he whined. “Do that again, and I'll be edging you the rest of the night. I won't even let you come."
“Shit," he muttered, relaxing his body. “Sorry, alpha."
I let the leash go slack as I descended further, his cock stretching not only my hole but everything inside. It pressed against my prostate, and I thought I was going to climax from that alone. At that moment, I realized that the pain and pleasure had come to some strange equilibrium. It hurt, but I couldn't stop myself from wanting to get him further inside of me.
It was then I noticed a familiar scent wafting from Dice. He always got smelly whenever we'd do it, but this was even more intense. It seemed to have the same effect on me that the poppers did.
“Oh fuck," I moaned out, lowering myself further, getting more of him inside of me. I could feel my stomach distend as he got deeper and deeper until I couldn't go any further. I reached the top of his swollen knot, my legs shaking as I kept him there, giving my insides a moment to adjust to being filled beyond what I thought possible. “God damn." I let out a grunt and held my stomach, the top of his enormous dick poking from my abdomen. It hurt, but it was an unusual pain.
My muscles kept contracting, wanting to push him out, but he wasn't going anywhere. I leaned forward, allowing him to slide out half way before sitting back on top of it. This felt incredible. Now that I knew what I was doing, the impossible task not only became manageable, but started getting easier.
I rocked back and forth, riding him, letting him slide in and out of me. While I did it, I held the leash tight like reins, pulling him each time he'd move. He was snarling now, and it was getting harder for him to control the thrusting. When he bucked again, I pulled and let him slide all the way out with a slick pop.
“What did I tell you?" His eyes were different, and his snarls got more bestial. “Keep it up, pal, and you're gonna—"
I heard something snap behind him and then again at my rear. With a roar, he grabbed me with his now free hands, forcing me to the bedding as he climbed over me.
“Dice?"
Shit. I went too far. This reminded me of the incident in the mansion, but there wasn't a killer's intent on his face. No, he wanted to breed me hard.
I tried to sit up, but he slammed me into the pillows, holding me by the neck. It was rough, but he was also using a lot of care. He still had enough control… I think.
With his other arm, he wrapped it around my back, lifting me enough that his cock was dead even with my ass. There wasn't anything slow or gentle about him as he entered me, slamming me all the way to the hilt. I groaned out, and he pushed my head into his musky fur. Every inhale made me care even less about what was happening.
To keep him from tossing me forward with each powerful thrust, I wrapped my legs tight around his hips, and he sped up, growling, snarling, roaring. He was completely unchained, a beast I no longer controlled.
It was incredible. The power, the speed, the intensity of his body making my fragile human self writhe. It had been about five minutes of non-stop jack hammering, never allowing me a moment to compose myself. Eventually, the movement against my prostate was too much, and I lost more of the battle. My ass clenched and released in time with my orgasm, but that only made him speed up. Hot cum shot past my face as I let go of the most intense orgasm I'd ever experienced.
The wolf on top of me wasn't even close to done. Still inside of me, he yanked me into his arms and stood up. I threw my arms around his neck, allowing him to support my legs with his clawed hands as he slammed into me over and over. God, it went on forever, and I could feel myself coming closer again. Sure enough, I came, hot streams shooting between us, not as much as earlier, but a surprising amount.
He still kept going, glaring deep into my eyes, his maw wrinkled and teeth bare. He was a monster… and I loved every second.
A howl ripped from his throat as he leaned in, his jaw gripping my shoulder tight enough to hold me still, but not enough to puncture my skin with his sharp teeth. That was when he slowed his thrusts, but not before forcing me down further than I'd gone before.
My ass was so abused, I couldn't even fight to keep the knot at a distance. His jaw tightened, and he pushed me harder, the last bit of tightness giving way as the swollen knot stretched my ass seemingly beyond its limits. That was when I heard a wet pop and felt it all go in at once. I cried out as he swelled to the point I could barely stand it. The pressure on my prostate made me come again, but nothing came out. The muscles barely contracted from how big it had gotten.
My guts made muffled squirming sounds as he filled me. There was still an animal in his eyes as he carried me to the bedding, forcing me onto it while still tightly inside of me.
He caressed the back of my head, and I let his tongue take over my mouth. As we kissed, he finally finished pulsating inside of me, filling me to an overwhelming amount. It was a little hard to breathe as it all pushed up against my diaphragm. The knot and enormous cock closed off any exit, forcing the load further up into my guts.
Some of the beast left him, and his ears clung to the sides of his head.
“Uh oh," he whispered, looking at the broken chains of the restraints still fastened to his wrists. He turned, allowing me to lay on top of him.
“We're gonna have a little talk after this," I said, still breathless from everything we'd done.
“I'm so sorry."
I smiled. “That… was incredible."
His eyes widened. “What?"
“Oh, we're definitely doing this again, only next time, I'm going to double up on the restraints." I looked down at the broken cuffs. “Tough enough for the strongest Melorian my ass. I should get my money back."
“You're serious right now?" He fell back into the pillows with me still on top of him. “That's never happened before. I practically forced you—"
“Yeah, and I loved it." I tried to push him out of me, but he was stuck tight. I gave up and collapsed onto his chest. “How long are we going to be stuck like this?"
“It depends. Sometimes it's a few minutes, but I'm pretty wound up right now." He wrapped his arms around me. “You honestly liked that?"
“It was terrifying," I said. “I've never felt so scared and powerless while being fucked like that. I think… I found my kink."
“Seriously? That's your kink? That's messed up."
“Nice to meet you, kettle. My name's pot."
He let loose a laugh, which made me do the same. Unfortunately, with him still crammed inside, it hurt.
“I'm the evil sadist, torturing a poor wolf into submission until he loses his mind and turns into an uncontrollable beast, turning the tables."
“What if I really hurt you next time?"
“You could have killed me, but you didn't." A chill went through me as I realized what I was saying. It was thrilling. “I think I'm just as fucked up as you are."
“My brain might be broken," Dice said, turning away. “No one really knows what happens long term once a wolf goes animal. No one's ever survived it."
“Do you remember what you did to me?"
“Kind of. I knew what I was doing, but I only wanted to mate."
The pressure inside of me faded, and Dice's knot popped out. There was a steady stream of warmth that followed.
“Fuck…" I moaned, pushing the rest of him out of me. I recomposed myself and continued. “So you were still there. You're not gonna hurt me, but we'll get you checked out just in case. They have actual Melioran specialists here."
“Alright. At the very least, it'll put my mind at ease."
“I sure you're fine," I said, giving him a soft kiss on the lips. His arms slid around me, then tightened suddenly. “What are you doing?"
“Here we go." Dice sounded really excited about something, and after a moment, when I heard the chuffing of helicopter propellers getting louder, I understood why.
“Dice," I shouted, pushing against him, but he wouldn't let me up. “God damn it."
“Oh no," he said, feigning concern. “I hope they don't see us."
“I hate you so much right now."
The helicopter flew directly overhead, not stopping. Thankfully, there were no searchlights, but they still could have seen us.
“That was a news copter," he said, letting me go. I pushed away from him and ran into the bedroom. “Wouldn't that be funny if we ended up on the news?"
“Wouldn't it be funny if we had to leave the country because your boyfriend was too embarrassed to ever go outside again?"
“Fiancé," he called after me, as he got up off the blankets, the loose chains jingling from his broken shackles as he padded into the room.
“Oh buddy. If we end up on the news, you'll be lucky to still have a boyfriend." I smiled and looked him over. He was a mess, his fur still damp but matted with cum, broken shackles, and the leash still dangling from his collar. “You really look sexy right now. Do the snarly thing."
“The snarly thing?"
“You know, where you bare your teeth like you're angry."
His ears folded back and his brows furrowed as he let loose a feral roar.
“God damn, that's so fucking hot."
“You wanna go again?"
I stepped up to him and pulled on the leash. “Get on the bed, ass in the air."
“Yes, alpha."

Dice
“There's a bit of an abnormality in your prefrontal cortex, but there's no damage. You're actually pretty lucky." The silver wolf grabbed the chart and flipped through a few pages. “You've got quite the medical history here. Spinal injuries, bullet wounds, going feral…" He glanced up from the notes to me. “I'm not going to ask, but I hope whatever you were into back in Tesak won't be coming here."
“No," I said, exhaling relief. “It's the whole reason we moved." I glanced at Elijah who was sitting in one of the chairs on the other side of the examination room. “Just me and my fiancé, starting a new life."
“Congratulations," the doctor said with a warm smile. “You're the first interspecies couple I've seen."
“Really?" Eli asked.
“It's not common."
“Doctor," I said, fidgeting with the strings of my hospital gown. “Say, hypothetically, you had sex at a very high elevation—"
“God damn it, Dice."
“What? It's a serious question."
“Keep it below seven thousand feet, stay hydrated, and uh…" he looked over at Elijah. “Wear sunscreen if you're out during the day. Even you can get skin damage up there."
“You answered that rather fast," Eli said, rubbing his temples.
“After forty years, nothing surprises me anymore." He took a few steps toward the door and pulled it open. “Everything checks out, and you should be fine. If at some point you notice any loss of consciousness, sleepwalking, or loss of memory, call me immediately. This is a new thing, so we'll still need to keep checking. I'll schedule you for another scan in six months."
“Alright," I said. “Thanks Doctor."
He nodded and walked out into the hall.
“See? You're fine," Eli said, standing. “So we're still on for tonight?" He threw his arms around my neck, giving me a peck on the snout. “I bought the same brand of restraints you can break."
“Hopefully it wasn't a one-off thing."
“Oh, I intend to turn you into a raging animal tonight. Then I'm gonna dominate your ass."
“I'm still outside the room," the Doctor said before his padded footsteps faded.
If I could see Eli blush, he'd have been a lobster with that look of mortification on his face. I pulled him in for another hug.
“Boy, that was sure embarrassing. Now the doctor knows."
“Shut up."
I smiled at him, feeling genuine relief for the first time in my life. We were so perfect for each other, and I'd never felt so comfortable being myself around anyone but him. “I love the hell out of you, you know?"
“I love the hell out of you too," he said. “So when are we going for that high-altitude hike?"
My tail went crazy when he said that. “How 'bout tomorrow?"
“It's a date."
