Sakura sat on a desert jungle planet gazing at the night sky. Her long hair white as snow flowed in the wind. It had been years since she left earth and many months since she left Wyvern on a deep space scouting mission into uncharted space to find Furs who may have fled to remote regions and may not have received word that the war was over. Her other task was to find a new home world for the furs outside of Wyvern space or the territory of the warlords. This world was mostly a desert searing heat during to day freezing temperatures during the night with various patches of thick jungle oasis. She decided to stay on this world a bit longer to reflect. When news of what happened on earth reached her it devastated her.

She still remembered that day when Shinryu hijacked all the television broadcast system. Hearing shin call Kiyo by name horrified her but when she saw his dead body it was too much. She remembered the shortness of breath gripping her at her chest hyperventilating before she fainted.

FLASH BACK

Julie and Marin were sitting in Sakura's living room watching talk shows. Sakura was in the kitchen getting a soda. It had been a week since she got left at altar. They did this every day when Sakura wasn't working. Soon the TV screen went black.

“What the hell?" Marin mumbled flipping through channels.

She keeps flipping going through all of them and the screen was black. Julie got up and checked the cables but couldn't find anything wrong.

“She JUST bought this TV yesterday!" Julie fumed.

The screen came on showing Shin's face.

“Its back on, come back and sit" Marin said patting the couch.

Julie quickly went back to the couch sitting next to her mother. Her ears folded back her lips curling showing her teeth a bit.

“God is that maniac again." Julie huffed

“They will catch him eventually." Marin groaned.

Shin smirked fanning his 12 tails before lowering them softly. Marin flipped through the channels but hew as on every channel.

“I apologize for the inconvenience. But I have taken the liberty of taking over all the air waves. Many of you know who I am. For those who don't know who I am I shall introduce myself."

He a paw over his chest and bowed politely before continuing.

“My name is Shinryu the leader of the skull hunter liberation group. Its a pleasure to be speaking so you today." He said.

“Liberation my ass, just another domestic terrorist group commit crimes under the guise of activism" Julie grumbled.

Marin shushed her. Shin continued his speech.

“The fur reptoid war was terrible. Billions of furs lost their lives in a pointless race war. The luckiest among you were able to flee to various planets across the stars as refugees. While a small few ended up having peaceful lives during such a chaotic time others simply fled one corrupt murderous tyrant for another. Even now you are still being oppressed. The royal family offers you their moon and a place to live on their planet as a way of showing they want peace but that you have been deceived. YOU live day by day but do they offer reparations to the families of those killed? No. they sit in their place getting fat while you feed on crumbs. Your families lost their entire planet and all you get from them is a simple apology! Is that truly fair!? It was HER FAMILY drove many of you to earth where you suffers at the paws of humans. Humans are a vile species……..How many of our men did they murder, How many of our women did they RAPE, How many of our children did they enslave and sell like cattle!? Yet when Kira fell Sora did NOTHING to seek justice for those furs who were enslaved to the humans she did nothing! She claims she want peace but yet she does nothing seek justice against the humans who have oppressed us. Of course why would she when her own daughter was MATED TO A HUMAN! However I succeeded where she has failed. I personally lead the charge to cleanse the planet earth of the human's sins." Shin said.

Images of a several of earth major cities in ruins. Julie leaned forward in her chair her ears perked forward. Shin continues his speech.

“However as expected there was some resistance from the humans. They tried to fight back 3 humans in particular put up a decent fight but they too fell the hand of justice." Shin said with a smug tone.

What they saw next shattered them. Marin eye widen as Julie gasped in horror covering her muzzle. Her ears lowered tears streamed down her eyes. Shin was showing them the image of Chase Kiyo and Jaden. On the screen was Kiyo pinned by the car slumped over the hood face down in a large pool of blood had formed at his feet. Julie just paws clasped over her muzzle. Sakura stood there in the walk way her eyes wide and dull her pupils extremely small. Tears began to stream freely down her cheeks as her breathing grew heavier and more erratic soon she was panting hard. She placed a paw over her chest Images of her time with Kiyo flashed through her mind. She wanted to look away but she couldn't. She fell to her knees panting harder before collapsing on the floor. Marin and Julie heard the thud and found her on the floor.

“SAKURA CALM DOWN!" Marin cried.

“She's hyperventilating." Julie said

“I know Sakura slow your breathing!" Marin said.

Sakura didn't hear them she only heard her own heart beat, Kiyo's words echoed in her head his promise to see her again. Kiyo was the first person she ever met who didn't see her as a burden or a freak. He taught her that her eye condition was not a curse but a blessing. The time she spent with him helped her become strong. Her vision began to blur Her families words began to get more and more faint then everything went black. She didn't wake up for 3 days

END OF FLASH BACK

Sakura sighed gazing at the sun. she lifted a paw looking at it clenching her fist her long white hair flowing in the wind. She stood having had enough. Going to her ship. She flicked a few switches and the ship took off into space once more. She leaned back after turning on the auto pilot.

“300 worlds….none habitable…...perhaps I should turn back." She said to herself.

She looked down at her dash board and saw a picture of her and Kiyo together. It was after Yoshi's concert The first time Sakura went out in public without wearing her sunglasses to hide her eyes.

“No...I wont give up, He never did and neither will I." she thought to herself.

With that she true a few more switches and the ships thrusts fired up. The wolf dog continues her journey searching for new inhabitable worlds. She soon stumbled upon a planet with a similar atmosphere to earth. Unknown to her it was the in the solar system right next to the system that housed the planet Ace and the others scouted before.

Sakura landed on the planet a rush of relief flooded her. It was almost dawn on this world. She ran scans. The planets atmosphere was rich oxygen levels were high enough to even support humanities water was drinkable. It was just like earth only the planet was 10 times the size of earth. She even saw unique creatures that on earth were critically endangered or even extinct. On land creatures like the feral black rhinos and elephants, Dire wolves were in massive abundance. In the seas massive creatures like the Livyatan, blue whales thrived. Manatee thrived in the river. The oxygen levels were high enough for humans to live on infarct they were higher levels then earth. Plants long extinct on earth thrived. The resources were massive. Sakura took in a deep breathe and smiles. She pressed a button and put on a head set/ here tail swished happily this was her first mission and it was a success.

“Hello command. I found a habitable world. I am sending the coordinate now coordinates now and preparing to head home…. In a while. I think I will stay here for bit" she said switching the communication system off.. Before turning to gaze at the land.

She sat down again next to her ship watching the sun rise. The soothing breeze hit her. She smiles warmly enjoying the feeling while she watched the sunrise, For the first time in many years she felt at peace. As the sun rose she smiled content with her success.
