I never knew that there are people in this ship that has been stealing pokemon. Now we have to retaliate and find a way to keep everyone safe from those people. Everyone is nervous about this plan but I guess it is up to them to be able to do their part in order to pull this off. But no matter how hard this is, we have to do it.

Normal POV

As the group composing of N, Gero and their pokemon. They went down to look around the premises of Kanto's port city. "Hey! Time for lunch don't ya think?" as Gero asks N. "I have to agree. Let's go ask some locals where we can eat lunch.". As they went around asking a few locals from the port, they eventually encountered a person who sports a cap and jacket that is red and white along with a pair of jeans. "My name's Red and welcome to Kanto! So who would you be?" as Red greeted us. "I am N and this is Gero." as N introduced the group. "Some of your pokemon are not from here! What is that pokemon?" and N introduces the fox. "This is a Zorua. A rare kind of pokemon from the Unova region."

"That's Awesome! Anyway..." and suddenly *Growl* "Opps" as Red started to scratch the back of his head. "Wanna have lunch together?" and the party nods as Red led them to a restaurant. "A table for 6 please." as they were lead to a round table that has been accompanied by a round couch in a hue of orange. "So what'll it be Red?" as a waiter approaches the group. The group gave their orders and after the waiter left Gero spoke up.

"So Red what is the Kanto region like?" and Red thought for a moment and replied "Mostly grass and flats but we do have a few mountains here and there." "So how about you Gero. Where did you come from?" as Red asked Gero. "I am actually from Arius." and Red formed a surprised look. "Really!? That place is isolated, as far as I know the region is so remote that people from there rarely even go to any place!" "That I can say is true. We have ships from all over the world and yet we only see 2 or less monthly. To top it off, we rarely see any travelling vessels. The type of ships that come to us are usually supply ships. " as Gero found the waiter returning with their orders.

"Here you go guys! I hope you enjoy." and the waiter left the table. "Oh. No wonder you guys don't travel the world. But I heard the place is beautiful." and N replied with a nod. "Yes it is. It's one of the most beautiful regions I ever went to, the view is amazing that you might even be convinced to even live there." and Red only responded with an awe. "Wow. Hey Gero can I come over there someday?" as he asks the young trainer to his right. "Sure! By the way. Let's trade e-mails." and they traded sheets of paper. "N. So it's your turn." as Red tilts to his left.

"Hmm. I think Unova has it's perks." as N started to describe his home land. "It is mostly industrialized but it does have a few beautiful forests and caves. You also have an amusement park and a Ferris wheel that could give you a view of the entire region. Most of all I love the people in my region. They are good-willed and filled with ideals that could shape the future." and the party continued to talk about their goals until Gero looked at his watch. "Oh! it's time to go." and the others agreed they went outside and exchanged good-byes.

"Bye Gero and N!" as he waves his hand. "I wish you guys luck!" and they waved back. "I hope we bump into him someday." as Gero started to walk back to the port. "Me too." and suddenly Gero spoke up. "Hey N, why won't we stay here and train?" and N replied "I agree, we have a lot of time to train for the leauge anyway." and they walked inside a pokemon center. "When they go out of there you follow them ok?" as a person in a grey jacked pointed the group to a group of people with civilian clothing. "Yes sir." and they started to scatter around.

"Ok so we better go to Pewter City. Red did say that it's a good place to start training." N told Gero along with Pidove and Azure went towards a route north of the city. "After them." and after a few minutes they followed them to route 6. "Where did they go?" and one of them spotted a pidove going to the north. "Let's go." and they followed the pokemon to the Saffron city gate. "Hi Pidove, great job! How many people are there Azure?" as N asks the aura reader. "at least 6." after the riolu focused on the scenery. "Ok now!" as N commanded his Zorua making the pokemon send a thick fog that went towards the approaching group. "What is this?!" and after a while the haze cleared. "They went to the city. Quick!" and they head towards the gate. Meanwhile in the pokemon center. "5 more minutes before departure..." as Gero pats Aru in the head, and N appeared in front of the pokemon center. "Time to go." and Gero placed Azure and Aru at his shoulders.

"The plan was a success. I can't believe it." N thought as he and his friends started to run towards the port.

N's POV

"Zorua may not be able to create an illusion that is enough to make us all disappear. But he can make basic illusions such as thick smoke and fog. Therefore" as he looks at the riolu on Gero's shoulder. "We needed someone who can see people without looking. Which is why we had to split into 2 groups."

FLASHBACK

"Ok, Aru stay in the pokeball until it's clear." as Gero returns the dragon inside his pokeball. "I am counting on you everyone. Azure do your best ok?" and the riolu nods as Zorua started to shift into Gero. "We do not have much time. Go!" and my group of Zorua, Azure, Pidove and myself left the pokemon center. "Ok so we better go to Pewter City. Red did say that it's a good place to start training." and everyone nodded at my suggestion as we walked towards route 6. I remember the directions Nurse Joy told me on how to get to Saffron. We decided to pick up the phase as we walked to the gate.

"I think this is far enough." I thought to myself. "We have 10 minutes. Pidove go lure them." and my pokemon flew away as asked the riolu how many people are following us. "The next step was actually to isolate them from the crowd in order for us to pinpoint exactly where are they coming at." after a few seconds the riolu reported to me that there are six of them heading towards us head on. "Looks like we caught their attention." and I returned Pidove after I commended on his work. "Ok now!" and Zorua started to shroud almost the entire place with an illusion of a thick fog.

"Lead the way, Azure." as I carry both of the pokemon with my arms. "Left, Right, Right..." as I pass through the fog with Azure helping me to avoid people. We exited the fog that Zorua made. "Quick I can't hold keep this up any longer!" as Zorua started to sweat, and we made a run for it going back to Vermilion City and after a few seconds the fog dissolved right away. My heart was pounding so fast that they would think that we came back but I heard something that gave me a grin. "They went to the city. Quick!" as I continue to go towards the pokemon center with my pokemon at my arms and Azure running beside me.

I saw the pokemon center at last.

END OF FLASHBACK

"The second group had another job, that is to keep a look-out on people who were following us. Aru and Gero seems to be calm by the fact that most of them fell for it. He told me that they noticed a few people sneaking glances at us the moment we went in and left the pokemon center, after a while they started to follow my group a few seconds later." I thought to myself as we saw the conductor yelling "All Aboard!!!". "I know that we made enough distance that they can't get to us the moment that they entered the city. That's why we was stalling for time. And thanks to Red we managed to find the perfect way to stall without giving us away." and I went towards the staircase.

"We now have to be careful. Because after this they would know that we know their plots. And we can't fool them twice either." as I started to to worry. Trying to find a way to deduce on who are after our pokemon. "Now we are just getting started on our little game of chess. One wrong move and it's checkmate." as we looked at the city getting smaller and smaller. "You're right N. The game has just begun." and we finally sigh in relief as we lured some of them away.

"We have to head for the head of the snake."

Normal POV

Somewhere around the ship.

"How did you lose sight of them!?!" as a large man talks over a phone. "They knew..." and then the man replied "Now thanks to you our organization might be in jeopardy! They are just TWO KIDS!!" and the man ended the call. "Well played, well played. Let's see who can win this game of cat and mouse." and the man started to light a cigar as he sits in a chair. "But..." as he puffs a cloud of smoke in the air "I always catch my prey. Heh Heh Heh."

"Gero..." as N looks to the right. "Yeah?". "Prepare to battle at all times. We are not safe anywhere. They can attack us at anytime." and Gero nodded in reply as the sun sets slowly.
