Fain's Background - Part 1 - Kuma
#1 of Fain's Background
Part 1 - Kuma Story copyright JayHusky ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~"Fain, can you come here a minute...I need help with this damn laptop, it's on the fritz again," Jay called for Fain, not realizing he wasn't home, "Fain...Fain?" Jay walked around the house hoping to find Fain, or his father Kuma. He wandered through the library, looking through every last aisle. He finally found Kuma hanging around in the study. "Excuse me, Kuma, sir, have you seen Fain lately? I need help fixing my laptop, it's kinda crapping out on me," Jay asked, unaware that Kuma was standing in front of him, with his huge red eyes glaring him down. It made Jay feel so small, and intimidated. "No, I haven't seen the boy, and you don't have to be so formal, you don't have to show how sophisticated you are, be yourself, it's not like I'm trying to eat you or anything. And what're you so scared of?" Kuma said. "I'm sorry, it's just well, you're kinda glaring me down with your red eyes, and your expression is kinda soulless. I feel so small when you stand up, especially because well, I'm 5'3" and you're--" "7'4" to be exact, and I see what you mean now. But it's okay, I don't bite, for long," Kuma said starting to snarl, "but if you EVER mess with any of my family, you WILL be next on my menu." Jay began to cower with an expression on his face similar to that of a blank stare, jaw agape. 'Was he serious, will he really e-e-e-e-eat me if something happens to someone and it's my fault in some way? He can't be serious,' Jay thought to himself. "Oh, that expression tells me that you think I'm not serious. I'm completely serious. Don't believe take a look at this photo album, taken by Chen herself," Kuma said, handing Jay a photo album. Jay flipped through the album, his eyes beginning to grow wider in fear at all the photos of Kuma swallowing people whole. Jay looked up at Kuma, his expression shown on his face as Kuma began to grin evilly, showing his sharp, bloodstained teeth. Jay's eyes grew even wider. "Well, then. Now that we've been acquainted more, I suggest you not try anything. But if anything, anything at all, happens to anyone of this family, and you were involved in some kind of way, then...well, you know," Kuma said pointing at his mouth. What Kuma didn't notice was that Jay had already in fact been in an incident with Fain where Fain was cut on his arm, when Kuma asked him about it, Fain simply told him that he had cut himself in Wood Shop 101. Kuma stopped Jay right before he walked out the study, "Hey, do you know anything about Fain cutting himself on his right arm?" "No sir, I don't why do you ask?" Jay asked trying to hide his fear. "I know you're lying. I can see it in the beads of your sweat," Kuma said, trying to break Jay, so he would tell the truth. "I'm serious, I really don't know anything about it. I only know that he was cut, I never knew when or where he was cut, but I know he was cut," Jay said as if unaffected by Kuma's piercing gaze. "You're just making it worse for yourself. Maybe I should just get the pot ready. If you tell the truth, I might just let you go. But if you keep lying then it will happen," Kuma said, beginning to make an angry glance at him, as if to say, 'I WILL kill you.' Jay tried to walk out the door, only to be stopped by a giant jaw in his face. Jay gasped in amazement at the panda's speed. 'How'd he get from his chair, to the door without me noticing him walk by, this is no ordinary panda,' Jay thought to himself. "Yeah, I'll just be on my way, if you could just, um, move please, I'd be happy to just go find Fain, instead of wandering aimlessly around this huge house trying to find everyone or anything. So um, excuse me please," Jay said. Kuma didn't budge an inch. Jay tried muscling his way through, but Kuma's fat blocked his only way out. Kuma began to wrap a bib around his neck. Jay didn't seem to comprehend this action, but then realized was about to do. "W-w-w-w-what are you doing? YOU'RE CRAZY, YOU CAN'T EAT ME!" Jay yelled after hearing a lock click. It was Fain walking in the house, after realizing this Kuma gave Jay a look as to say, "you're lucky he showed up." "What's going on, I heard all the yelling. Dad, why are you wearing that bib, and what're you doing with my son?" Fain asked. "He can't possibly be your son, he's a dog, you're a panda, it wouldn't make any sense," Kuma said, taking off the bib, marked with a giant jaw. Only Fain ever noticed that big red Paw Print on Jay's back start to glow when he was frightened. As if something was living inside him that could possibly kill him, or help him in a very significant way.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I feel as though, that I'm explaining some secret in this story that will be later added to another story series of mine, ZOMG SPOILER ALERT ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~"Well, I still think of him as my son, mainly because he treats me like a father, and not some vicious person who never seems to do anything about anything but eat people!" Fain began to tear at his eyes. How could he be yelling at his father like this? Kuma just smacked Fain out the room and threw Jay at him. Jay landed hard on the marble floor and when he got up to go find some place to hide, Kuma was already at the bottom of the steps, once again, jaw open prepared to swallow Jay whole. Jay immediately stopped and ran the other way, heading towards the front door only to be stopped, yet again. 'Where am I supposed to go? This guy shows up in my face wherever I go. It's like he knows where I'm going to go before I go there. Maybe this mark on my back will help...well, here goes nothing,' Jay thought to himself. As Jay began to show extreme fear from being followed by a monster, the mark on his began to glow brighter and brighter. What then happened was a blur of what looked like blood that enveloped Jay allowing him to form his body into blood, the only downside was that this power only lasted for about a minute, and afterward, he would pass out. 'Gotta think fast. I gotta find a way to slip by him without revealing that I'm the "blood"; I have to fool him,' Jay thought, 'I gotta go get Fain.' The "blood" began to glow again, causing Jay to turn back to normal instantly passing out as he did so. Kuma began to laugh, grabbing a toothpick before picking up Jay and slinging him over his shoulder. Fain finally managed to get off the floor, bleeding, looking at Jay being taken by his father back to the study as he slowly faded back into unconsciousness.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~"Now, where were we? Oh yeah, I'll be right back, gotta go get some condiments, you won't be able to move anyway," Kuma said smirking. Little did Kuma know that Jay recovered fast, he was awake as soon as Kuma left the room. Jay began to walk towards the door, trying his best to pad quietly. He didn't realize that he still had his collar on which had the gold pendent that jingled loudly no matter how slowly he moved. He began to run, knowing the pendent would be loud anyway, and quickly left the house. He ran as fast as he could, not knowing that Kuma was right behind him, chasing him as if he was a running stick of bamboo. 'Gotta find a way to lose him, he's to fast to outrun, I can't hide for long, the sunlight is stretching and it will most likely shine on even the darkest of places,' Jay thought to himself as he was still running. "You can't outrun me! Even though I'm a panda, I am pretty fast!" Kuma yelled at Jay. Fain wished he could've helped Jay, but he was way slower than both of them, he wouldn't be able to catch up in time. Jay was still running, he started to speed up the pace trying his best to stay ahead of Kuma. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ THIS IS PART ONE OF A NEW SERIES ENTITLED, "FAIN'S BACKGROUND"
