Stranger Part 8
#10 of Stranger
-Atti & Kora-
Kora was smiling lightly, sitting on the couch and watching TV. It was still a little early in the morning, and somebody was knocking around in the kitchen making lunch. The channel he was on was flowing through commercials at this point.
Atti stepped out of his room, having been listening to music and writing down some thoughts after waking up. He spotted Kora on the couch, and a few ideas occurred to him. He strolled over to where his love was sitting, and sat down next to him. "Hey, beautiful" He said quietly, almost seductively.
Kora smiled over at Atti, his tail flipping up a little while he went to wrap an arm around him. "Hey yourself, sexy." He nuzzled Atti affectionately. "What're you up to?"
"Mmm...not much, my love..." He replied, and moved his arm over Kora's shoulders. He was in a romantic mood, and determined to make Kora's heart skip beats. He put his left hand lightly on Kora's chest and leaned onto him a little, looking his boyfriend in the eyes.
Kora gasped a little when he felt Atti's hand on his chest. "A-Atti...careful...I..." His mind kicked into gear a second later [Oh, he's planning this. I see.] Kora began to blush lightly, looking his love back in the eyes and humming softly.
"You said that that day at my mom's gallery was the best thing that ever happened to you..." He paused, and pulled Kora closer. "Well...I have to say the same, my angel." He kissed Kora on the cheek lightly, and stroked his chest.
Kora's blush gained strength and he murmured at the kiss. He thought he felt his heart flutter under the influence of the words. At the stroke on his chest his tail puffed out and he let out a little moan. "Mmm...A-Atti...My love..." His eyes slowly shut.
Atti leaned in closer to Kora, and began whispering things in his ear. "You really are beautiful...everything about you...I want to be yours forever..." He trailed off, and kissed Kora's neck and cheek a few times, then returned to whispering.
"Me too... Atti, I never want to leave you." Kora's blush was reaching record levels, and when Atti kissed his neck and cheeks he melted at the gesture. His hand reached and supported Atti's head while he looked his love in the eyes.
The door latch clicked, and Jav pushed open the door, his arm still around Kit. He noticed Kora and Atti together on the couch and turned to Kit, holding up a finger to his lips in the universal 'Keep quiet' gesture.
Kit smiled half-viciously and followed along with Jav, The two sitting on the couch none the wiser. Kora was blushing so hard he felt the heat radiating off his cheeks, and silently he muttered Atti's name.
Atti nuzzled Kora, and pushed right up against him. "Honey...do you want to, maybe...go in the other room?" He asked, tilting Kora's chin up a little with his hand.
Kora moaned lightly, and Kit had to keep himself from chuckling and giving himself away. "Y-yes...oh yes, Atti..." He couldn't control himself any more and suddenly kissed Atti on the neck, his tail wagging quickly.
Atti shivered at Kora's kiss and started standing up, taking his lover by the hand lightly. "Come with me..."
Kora smiled lightly and willingly followed Atti out to the room.
-Kit & Jav-
Once the door closed Kit smirked and laughed. "Well that was interesting."
Jav grinned. "They're cute together." He pecked Kit on the cheek. "And you're cute too."
Kit grinned and giggled a little at the kiss. "You treat me so well, Jav... And you're the greatest I could ever have." He gave Jav a return kiss on the lips.
Jav kissed Kit back, still smiling at him. "Aww...I have to say, you're the best I could have as well." He kissed Kit again, deeper this time. His hand went around Kit's back, pulling him in tight.
Kit smirked in his head and ran through the temptation of grabbing Jav's tail. He couldn't help himself, and his hand traveled to Jav's back, running down and touching his love's tail. [Heh...I wonder how this feels to him?]
Jav stiffened when Kit touched his tail, flicking it back and forth. He pulled away from Kit. "You're such a tease..." He said and smiled, then brought his hand up to stroke Kit's ears. "Well, honey...so am I."
Kit gasped at the touch to his ear. His back stiffened a little and he looked into Jav's eyes. "So I see." Kit grabbed at Jav's tail and missed, cursing the effect of his ears being rubbed. "Hmm... feels so good..." His tail twitched slightly.
"Mmmm...let's not waste our time talking...my mom and yours are going to be here in a few minutes, so..." Jav trailed off, ending his sentence by simply kissing his love again, his eyes slowly closing.
They continued kissing for a minute or so, until Kit broke away and looked at Jav, his head tilted a little to the side. "So...what are we going to do today?"
"Hmm..." Jav looked out the window. "We could take a walk...maybe try to beat the rain?"
"I wouldn't mind either way, I love the rain. Walking in the rain with the one I love would be a great time." Kit giggled and nuzzled Jav's cheek lightly.
Jav grinned. "I was hoping you'd say yes. Let's wait until our moms get here, make sure your mom is getting settled all right."
"Yeah... Life has been bad to her lately, but now things should change." Kit smiled lightly.
-Marie & Kyra-
Kyra was fidgety standing next to Marie. Things had changed so much lately, she had a hard time figuring out just what had happened. [So much happened so quickly...I hope I can catch up...]
Marie looked over to the anxious woman next to her. "Is there anything on your mind, Kyra?" She was wondering what could make the woman look so nervous all the time, and was going to find out.
Kyra sighed, her mind picking up right when Marie had asked her question. "He was so different when I first met him. Derrick, he was such a nice man when I first got to know him...funny, a bit crass, but he meant well in the end... But then Kit came out... He was strict before, but I would have never thought he had an abusive bone in his body..." Her eyes shone in the light, beginning to water.
Marie raised her eyebrows. "Did he abuse you?" She put a hand on her hip. [Should I have hit that prick harder?]
Kyra began to shake her head, but quickly realized it was a lie. "Not at first...it was Kit that got the brunt of it at first. I should have done something...should have left then and there, but I was scared...so scared, I let my child get beaten just because he was gay...I should have done so much more...I'm amazed that Kit still even wants to talk to me." Silent tears rolled down her face, her ears drooping a little.
Marie's mouth opened a little in concern, and she put an arm around the woman's shoulder. "You shouldn't be so hard on yourself...not many women could do much in your situation." She paused a moment. "At least, not without basic martial arts training." She said, and offered a half-smile.
Kyra smiled back lightly, dabbing at her eyes with a tissue she had gotten from her purse. "I guess... I still feel bad that I didn't do anything to help..." She sighed and tried to compose herself. "We should probably get to your home before I start a scene or something..." She laughed half-heartedly.
Marie took her arm off Kyra's shoulder. "Sounds like a good thing to do. Here, I'll get the elevator." She strolled across the lobby to the elevator doors and hit the button to call it down. Kyra made her way across the lobby soon after. Marie turned to her. "I can see that your children have a lot in common with you."
Kyra flashed a teary smile. "You think so? Really...I don't know...they seem a lot braver than me." Two of her tails flicked a little, a tic she got when nervous of something. She had just unofficially divorced her husband and moved in with her sons' boyfriends' home. She was in a new large city, but thankfully her children were there to help her out.
Marie chuckled. "I'm sure that you have strong will...you've just had a lot of pressure put on you." She smiled. "Also, Kit and Kora are some of the best people I've ever met...you're lucky to have them." She paused, and then snickered. "Compared to me, you're very lucky to have Kora. I got stuck with Atti the nympho."
Kyra laughed, thinking that she might be joking. "Really now? A nympho? Is my Kora getting in over his head?" She laughed again before seeing a glint of seriousness in Marie's eyes. She simply grinned without saying any more on the subject. She awaited the elevator to reach their floor.
The pair stood in the elevator for a short while, until it reached Marie's floor. The doors opened with a 'ding!' and the two women stepped out. "This is my loft." Marie said, opening a door with her room key.
Kyra smiled lightly and walked in behind Marie to find Kit and Jav waiting for them to arrive. "Oh! Kit...and you're Jav?" She waited for him to nod before continuing. "What's on your agenda today, then?" She giggled lightly.
-Kit & Jav-
Jav put an arm around Kit. "Well...me and foxy here are going to go take a walk around, look at the city...Atti and Kora have, ahem, other plans..." His eyes flashed for a second to a doorway further into the apartment. "How about you get moved in, Mrs. Sayre?"
"A good idea, Jav..." She smiled and looked at Kit warmly. "You two have a good time." Kit hugged Jav closer to himself and nuzzled him. "Of course, mom... You too." He only hoped that she didn't listen in on Atti and Kora, or hear what they were doing.
Jav began walking towards the door, grasping Kit's hand in his own. "Come on, hon...let's go."
With nothing left to say he walked alongside Jav, resisting the temptation to grab his tail. "I hope it begins to sprinkle out there." He said with a giggle.
Jav smiled, and looked at his love. "Sweetheart, I hope it pours...because that means I'll have to be close to you." He pecked Kit on the cheek. "Not that I wouldn't get close to you anyways."
Kit laughed and nuzzled Jav yet again. "Of course." He squeezed up against Jav as well as he could. "Then let's start now, huh babe?"
-Matt & Randall-
"Well...you have a better house then I ever had..." Randall said, looking around him at the living room. "Not that I've had a house for the past...few...years." He looked at the floor.
Matt looked over at Randall with a knowing grimace on his face. "Glad you like the place." He squeezed Randall into a sideways hug, rubbing his side a little. "Lived here my whole life. it was boring though, nobody around that was my age. Still isn't actually. Which is why I'm glad I have you here now." He smiled and gave Randall a peck on the cheek.
Randall smiled, and felt his heart warm up a little bit. "I'm glad I'm here as well." He sat down on the couch, and pointed for Matt to sit next to him. Matt obliged and Randall wrapped his arms around him, cuddling up to him a little. "Mmm...when does your mom get home?"
Matt thought for a second and replied with a grin. "Maybe an hour. never know when she's called in for extra work before her shift ends though." He gave Randall another peck, closer to the mouth this time.
"Some people go their whole lives without hearing news that good." Randall said, and giggled, kissing Matt back after. "So...I don't want to seem like I'm trying to take things too far, but...can I see your room?"
Matt blushed a little, but quickly shook the thought out of his mind before giving a nod. "Sure. It's upstairs." He got up from the couch, helping Randall as well, and the two headed upstairs. His room was a little messy, some old clothes strewn on the floor, but otherwise not to bad to look at. His bed was up against the far side of the room and he quickly walked over to it and sat. "This is my room... Sorry for the mess, i should have cleaned it before you got here." He laughed nervously.
"Oh no, it's fine." Randall walked to the bed and sat down next to Matt. "Much better than my room at the goddamned Charter House." He grimaced.
Matt looked over at Randall, hugging him lightly. "It must've been such a hard time..." Matt sighed. "I guess the only real thing i ever had to contend with was boredom."
"It was bad, but not nearly as awful as where I grew up..." He sighed, and stared at the floor again.
Matt's ears perked a little. "Where you grew up? I hadn't heard about that..." He hugged Randall closer, realizing that what his love was talking about could be difficult for him to think about again. His tail subconsciously wrapped around behind Randall and rested on the husky's tail.
Randall sniffed. "I grew up in southern LA...the bad part. The part where if you saw a car riding lower than four inches off the ground with its windows up, you took cover." He sighed again. "My dad was both an addict and a deadbeat...and a wannabe thug. His whole life revolved around snorting crack, yelling at me to do everything, and trying to intimidate everyone around him." He paused for a breath.
Matt's eyes went wide with a gasp, and he clutched Randall tighter, trying to comfort him.
"My mom was...well...she was a hooker, but she never touched anything my father did. She was trying to get us money, that's the only reason she hooked. We were *this close* to getting out of the neighborhood, but..." Randall's eyes watered. "She got killed. Crossfire between the cops and some gang." A tear rolled down his face. "The police called her 'collateral damage'." More tears leaked out of Randall's eyes, until he was full-on crying, clinging onto Matt.
Matt's heart nearly shattered at the sound of Randall's crying and the story he had just recounted. Partly he was beating himself up for making Randall tell him the story, and the other part of him was trying to think of how he could comfort the crying canine in his arms. "Oh Randall...I'm so sorry..." He clutched his love closer, tears starting to well up in his eyes as well. He rested his head on Randall's shoulder and started to cry silently.
The pair held each other for a long time, words not needed to express their emotions. Finally, Randall let go of Matt a little and looked up at him. "I'm sorry..." He said, his voice a little hoarse. "I shouldn't have told you about my past."
Matt shook his head dismissively. "No... it's fine... I asked for it, after all..." He smiled in a bittersweet way and gave Randall a kiss on the lips. "My life is so tame compared to that..." He smiled in spite of himself.
"I envy you...you didn't have to deal with what I had to." Randall squeezed Matt tight. "I don't want to talk about this any more...it hurts too much."
"I understand, babe." Matt smiled lightly, hugging the hurting teen tightly. It was then that the two heard a door opening below them. "Matt! Honey, I'm back from work! Where are you?" Matt jumped a little, but broke away from the hug slowly. "Ah... poor timing ma..." He simpered and muttered under his breath.
"Uh...should I go somewhere else, so she doesn't suspect us?" Randall asked, wondering what Matt's mom would think if she saw her son sitting right up next to someone she'd never met on his bed.
Matt nodded, but not without hesitance. He pointed to the computer chair in his room and went over to the door. "Hey mom! Up here, I have a friend over." His mom let out a sound of surprise happiness. "Oh! I'll be up in a minute to meet them then!" She laughed, realizing how unusual it would be to announce that they were going to just barge in and meet someone even if they didn't want to be met.
"Alright then..." Randall quickly moved over to the chair, turning to face Matt. "What's your mom like?"
Matt smiled back at Randall. "She's an okay lady. Grown up, but not above telling jokes and fooling around." She set her purse on a chair peg in the dining room and the two could hear her climbing up the steps, soon to pass through the door. "Hi there! I'm Cassandra, Matt's mother. What's your name?"
"I'm Randall." He stood up and held out a hand.
Cassandra grasped his hand, shaking it with a smile. "Nice to meet you Randall. My boy doesn't often have people over...the only other people I've really seen that he's friends with are Jav and his pals." She smirked and waved to Matt, who returned the gesture out of habit. With that, she turned and headed to leave the room, telling the two to have a good time and behave before giving a giggle.
"Well, she seems to be in a good mood..." Randall remarked, and sat back down in the chair. "Does she, uh, know you're...?"
Matt blushed and looked at the ground ashamedly. "No...she doesn't know... I've meant to tell her and dad a few times... but I've never really had the courage." He sighed and sat back down on the bed. Other than that, the two know that I'm just a kind, caring guy. Every once in a while they make a statement about how I'm going to make some girl a great husband some day, but I just smile.
Randall gave a small smile. He opened his mouth as if to say something about coming out to his parents, but quickly remembered that it would only bring him down. "You should, someday...you'd definitely have better luck than I did."
Matt got a glint in his eye, an idea coming quickly. "Say... maybe... if i had you with me when i did come out to them... maybe then I'd have the bravery." His eyes seemed to plea with Randall, hoping he'd say yes. "Maybe tonight... when dad gets home i could come out to them..."
Randall gasped a little. "Matt, of course I'll be with you if you want to do it!" He stood up from the chair and hugged his love again.
Matt grinned and purred lightly. "Oh thank you Randall. I feel more confident now, knowing that you're there for me..." He gave a smile and hugged back. "Dad should be home somewhat soon... but until then, what should we do to pass the time?" Matt laughed.
"I think I know..." Randall leaned forward and kissed Matt on the mouth, putting his hands on the other fur's sides. "Mmmm..."
Matt was taken aback by the sudden kiss, but quickly loosened up. "Mmm..." His hands wrapped around Randall's back, pulling the husky on top of him while he leaned backwards. (I wasn't expecting that... but god it feels nice...) He was in heaven.
Randall was in heaven as well; being this close and this intimate to the one he loved only served to make him more happy then he had ever been. He moved his tongue against Matt's lips, hoping to make their kiss an even deeper one.
Matt's eyes opened lightly before closing completely. He opened his mouth and let Randall's tongue in, moaning both into the kiss and in his mind when he felt himself lost in love. "Mmm..." His mind began to swim, all that mattered was Randall and the kiss.
Randall's eyes slid shut, losing himself in the kiss and in Matt's embrace. A nagging thought broke through the haze for a moment. [The door...I didn't close it...] before disappearing again.
Cassandra walked up the stairs, the two in Matt's room completely oblivious to her approach. Her mind was wandering. [Let's see... after I have my nap I'll have to start on dinner...hmm, top of the stairs, Matt and Randall kiss-kissing?!) Her brain came screeching to a halt, her head turned to see the two making out on her son's bed. For a second she thought she was seeing things, but after a few seconds her expression changed to a smile. (I knew something was up...) She paused, and watched as the couple broke their kiss and remained embracing, looking into each other's eyes. (They look like a good couple together...never noticed that before.) She shrugged internally and walked past without saying a word.
"Did you hear something?" Randall asked his boyfriend, and glanced out the doorway to the hall. Matt shook his head. "Never mind, then..." Randall remarked, and held Matt tight to him. "Heh...I love being close to you."
Matt smiled in response. "Likewise, my lovely doggie." He giggled at the pet name and gave him a quick kiss on the lips once more. The two remained practically latched together on the bed.
Randall blushed at the name and giggled. His ears suddenly perked up, an idea coming to his head. "Hey...would there be enough time between now and dinner for me to...give you a backrub?"
Matt blushed through a smile on his face. "S-sure...!" He giggled a little before lying on his stomach, looking up at Randall. "Feel free." His thoughts drifted for a second (He's such a gentleman, but i wonder just how much of a gentleman he is?) He laughed to himself.
Randall put his hands on Matt's shoulders, feeling a lot of muscle tension. "Wow...your shoulders feel really tight." He began to gently squeeze Matt's shoulders, almost kneading the muscles to loosen them.
Matt's eyes shut and he let out a little grunt. "Yeah... it has to have been a long time since I had a massage... and with sports and all..." He sighed dreamily. "Oh that feels so good, Randall..." He sounded blissful.
Randall worked on Matt's shoulders for a little while more, then moved down to his back. He felt Matt's heartbeat through his palms and smiled a little. "So...enjoying this?"
Matt smiled and Randall suddenly felt something else through his palms. A loud purring started in Matt's chest and he let out a stifled moan. "ah... yes... it feels so good, Randall. Thank you." He giggled with his eyes closed and a smile on his face.
-TIMELAPSE-
Randall sat back in his chair with a contented sigh. "That was probably the best I've eaten in like, a month! Thanks for letting me stay for dinner."
"Sure thing, Randall. Hope you've had your fill; there's still more here if you like." Cassandra smiled and looked over at her husband, Ray. Matt was still helping himself to some of the scalloped potatoes, and Ray had just gotten done with his plate. It was both Ray and Cassandra that had insisted that Randall stay for supper, and Ray had hit it off well with Randall as well.
"Oh no, I'm full. Thanks, though." Randall looked at Matt and caught his eye, looking at him as if to say 'Now's the time.'.
Matt caught the look and his face fell a little. He had forgotten all about coming out tonight, and the idea coming back made him feel nervous, understandably. He swallowed hard and tried to find the words. "M-Mom... Dad... i have something i want to tell you..." His mother looked up at him, halfway expecting this to happen. His father on the otherhand looked genuinely clueless.
Randall looked at Matt and smiled, before getting up off of his chair. He stood to the side of his love, and subtly gestured for him to go on.
Matt swallowed down his nervousness. "What's on your mind, son?" Ray pressed the question and Matt froze up for a second. (Oh god oh god oh god...) "I-I'm... I'm Gay." The room was silent for a while. His father looked light headed from the idea, while his mother had a soft smile on her face. True to how he looked his father fainted where he sat, his head falling backwards, thankfully. "Matt... I'm sure I speak for your father and myself when i say that this is unexpected... but you being happy is all that matters to us."
Randall grinned at Cassandra and hugged Matt tight. "And, um...the two of us have something else to say..." He said to her.
Cassandra blinked a little bit, she had been expecting Matt to come out, but not the next piece. She tilted her head, silently urging him to go on.
"Well...the two of us are, eh...dating..." Randall smiled shyly at her, one arm still around Matt.
_Cassandra's eyes popped open a little wider for a second. "Wait... you two haven't... you know... have you?" Matt's face shot from shock into horror. "No! No we haven't done... that... yet...!" He felt like he was full body blushing.
Randall's eyes shot open as well. "Oh, no way! We haven't done anything like that!" He turned to Matt. "Wait...'yet'?" He said under his breath, and blushed a bit.
Matt realized his slip of the tongue just a moment too late and his blush increased. "Well...I thought...at one point...maybe..." His mother cleared her throat. "Ahem...Well... all I can say is, it had better not be here, and I had better not catch you two going at it." She ended her 'stern' speech with a wink and a grin. Boys will be boys after all, and when it came to most men, they didn't think things through well enough to be sneaky about much of anything. She looked over at her husband before picking up a glass of water and dumping it on his head and he shot awake sputtering._
Randall snickered. "Don't worry...I can keep him under control." He said, and nudged Matt. "Freudian slip there, mmm?"
Matt simply blushed and looked at the floor. "Y-yeah... Sorry about that..." He chastised himself in his head for letting it slip like that, but he couldn't help himself. Randall was just so good-looking... it was so tempting most of the time just to keep going every time they made out. He had been able to control himself this whole time to his surprise, and planned on staying that way until Randall was ready.
Randall pecked him on the cheek. "I didn't disagree with you...someday, I would love to 'be with' you." He hugged his love again, and smiled at him.
Matt gasped at what Randall said, his face darkening with a strong blush. "R-really...?" He squeezed Randall tightly, and Cassandra cleared her throat again, bringing attention to herself. "He may be awake, but he isn't moving for anything... Matt, i'm gunna need your help lugging this dead weight up to bed." She chuckled. "I didn't expect him to faint during this..."
Randall looked at her. "Want me to help? I'm alright at lifting heavy stuff...weight training in gym and stuff."
Cassandra beemed at him. "Oh would you? The more the merrier; Ray hasn't been keeping up on his fitness like Matt has..." She giggled again and soon the three had Matt's father on the bed and back to their own business. Matt looked Randall in the eyes and grinned. "I'm glad that this went somewhat well."
"Certainly better than my experience..." He grinned; immensely happy at Matt's acceptance. "So...you say you've met Jav before?" He asked Cassandra.
"Yeah, he was here one time in the past. He and Matt had a biology project to work on together, so this place being closer to the school they just walked here. Jav is such a nice guy, kind, just like Matt really." She closed the bedroom door behind her and looked to the two of them. "But you two don't want to stay here talking to me all night, do you?" She laughed.
"Hey, it could be entertaining." Randall said. "And speaking of Jav, I wonder what he and Kit are doing..."
-Kit & Jav-
Jav looked up at the sky again. "Well, you were right in saying we couldn't beat the rain...looks like it's going to start coming down hard any minute now."
Kit giggled. "Just the way I like it. But I forgot, cat's don't like water." He laughed and poked Jav jokingly. There was a rumble in the air and fat drops of water began to hit the ground around them slowly and loudly.
Jav put a hand out to catch a couple drops. "Well, you said you wanted to listen to some music, so you might want to before it really starts coming down."
Kit chuckled and nodded before taking out his iPod and unraveling the cord. He stuck the phones into his ears and pressed the center button, his music drowning out everything.
Jav looked around a little, taking in the area they were in. Suddenly, a familiar voice called out. "Jav!" Jav snapped his head around to see a thin rabbit running in his direction. "Is that...? Ugh, you've got to be fucking with me." He muttered under his breath. The rabbit ran up to Jav, grinning widely with a coquettish face. "Oh my god, it is you!" Jav pursed his lips. [Why HIM?! Why now?!] "I swear, I haven't seen you in a year!" "Vincent, it's been like three months."
The rabbit waved a hand in the air. "Jav, I've been thinking..." "That's new." Jav said under his breath. "We were so good together! We were meant to be!" Jav arched an eyebrow. "We had three dates and you tried to blow me. Piss off." Vincent sighed. "Well, I guess the only way to convince you is...this!" He suddenly leaned forward and liplocked Jav. [?! What the fuck is he doing?!" Jav flailed his arms, trying to push the amorous rabbit off of him. His hand bumped Kit.
Kit felt a hand bump up against him. Thinking it was Jav needing his attention he turned around to see another man attached to Jav at the lips. A cold feeling shot into his gut, flying outwards to his hands and feet, and his eyes clouded up instantly. "H-How... How could you!?" He spun on his heels and shot down the street. It seemed like fate waited for this perfect moment and the skys opened up, rain pelting the face of Metro City. Lightning and thunder flashed in the sky above, leaving Jav and his un-wanted assailant in the downpour.
Jav finally managed to get Vincent off of him. "Let go of me, you useless-" He looked next to him. "Kit? WAIT!" He turned to run after him, but knew it was no use. He looked at the ground, the tears leaking out of his eyes mingling with the falling raindrops.
