Would you care for a story? An old tale to be true, in the days when these lands were lost to mystery of the mist. The monastery had been destroyed, all the monks who gave ther lives to defend it, now the ground was stained with there blood. Two robed figures made their escape in the night to the hollows edge, for a moment's rest before continuing further to safety. "Alright, Halashsa was it?" The taller robed figure kneeled down to her smaller companion who slumped down suddenly at a lost, knowing his life had changed forever. "By the gods, Aalagema, his eyes wide as if in slow motion, watching her fall to the ground. "Guess I'm still out of practice," coughing up blood her eyes closed. Halashsa worked away the black garb then applying pressure to the gash. "Stay will me" he muttered knowing she had lost a lot of blood. As the green of his energy like fire spread over her body stretching the flesh back together. "Just a little more" he whispered then fell over on her body exhausted.

Yells of panic filled the chilled air along with the sickening sounds of blood, Halashsa was running away from the courtyard. He then froze in place seeing his beloved father murdered dead on the stone surface. A brown-robed figure took his hand lead him away before the attack surrounded them. Gasping he awoke, forgetting where he was for a moment a fire was strong there was a small assortment of nuts and berries to the side of him. "Just a nightmare" he thought, any dream he would ever have wouldn't compare to those horrors. "Aalagema!" He called out remembering her wounds from the night before. Getting up slowly, he walked around and called out again "Wha-?," he thought looking up at the sudden noise , with a thud Aalagema leaped to the ground from one of the higher branch, "We need to head north, you ready to go?" Halashsa looked her over pleased with her recovery. They got the camp packed, then walking deeper in the marshy hollow the sound of cicadas working into the background. Halashsa was quite his mind lost it thought until stumbling on a stay root collapsing to the ground in a "Yah!" Helping him up, brushing the dirt off him as they both turned quickly looking towards the monster jumping out of the bushes now charging at them in an attack, "Down!" Aalagema pushed the bunny away from the monster getting her dagger ready to make contact with the wolfish beast as it ran closer. Halashsa sat up panting, looking over at the creature its breathing grew short, losing its life, its black blood spilling out. They continued walking in silence until Halashsa perked up with a smile he exclaimed, "A river" running to the edge tossing his robes aside the then jumping in the murky waters with a splash. "Good" the she-lion thought nice to see the him feeling better, giving a half smiled she walking to the edge, cleaning her blade once that was down she gave a leap to a sturdy branch of a nearby willow getting comfortable in the shade.

Time passed as the bunny floated around in no particular direction with the cool of the river blending with the hotness of the sun. "Are we close to Palowyn?" Looking up to the lioness who made herself ready to then with leap down to the soft soil where he was. "Almost," She said "half a day longer to be sure," She looked him over with a smile his slim frame white fur with long outstretched ears as he was getting his clothes back on, with that they were off again. It was Aalagema who broke the silence " have you ever been" he looked back at the bunny his ears perked in response to her question, "Palowyn I mean," He didn't answer right away "I've never been outside the monastery, Father Nasaamit" he paused remembering the attack, his old body on the steps of the monastery all that blood all of the brothers of the white cloth dead, it made him stop with a shiver then looking down saying nothing more he began to walk again closing the gap to her watching him. "Halashsa," she whispered stopping him with her arm stopping him there eyes met and with her right hand she held close to her chest, "You have my absolute word I will carry out what was asked of me, after we resupply Ill take you to see her, The Raven Of Spirits." There was a quite rustle of the wind that sweeped past them a single tear ran down the bunnies face as he smiled. "I'm sure she'll know why you have these abilities her eyes connected with his as he gave a small smile I will protect you with my life and help you until breath leaves me Halashsa." I guess healing without staffs is a help to you the bunny giving happy expression but quickly focused on the ground so is not to get trapped by the roots. "Bunny your healing soothes past pains away not just heals, not to mention your other talent " the lioness helped him down a slope of wet moss. They continued on until the sun started sliding downward over the horizon.

Rain had started in drizzling down as the two made their way the forest was behind them. "Palowyn" she muttered, bunny kept close looking up to the grey skies as they entered. It was plain thought Halashsa dirt pathway leading to the general store and tavern both structurals looked run down, he felt stagnation a nostalgia as they made their way walking past serval houses all in need of repair as serval older cats and dogs were quickening their pace to get in from the wet. "Wha-?" the bunny began, was stopped by Aalagema putting her finger across her lips as they stepped into the tavern where the sign spelled out River Bends. It was the cozy warmth as well as the smell of old wood that captivated the bunny he walked to the fireplace when all at once "Welcome! friends, given me a tick, I'll be right with ya" a booming voice echoed from another room Halashsa quickly got behind Aalagema as his head covered, grabbing loosely on her robes as they waited. Aalagema gave a smile and it widen as the pig emerged "Hambone the merchant," she called out letting her hood of her robe fall back her glowing eyes flashed as they hugged, "my dear la'gee aren't ya a sore sight for these sorry eyes" he bellowed sweetly given a snort. Ya got a kid now he gave a hearty laugh rich now eyeing the bunny who had pulled his hood off. "Its complicated" she said, "When is it not with you sit down and give us a story la'gee its been ages " the pig gave a laugh showing them over to the fire taking their robes as they sat and she explained there story so far "terrible! for one as young as you Halashsa." Shaking his head the pig walked to the window "Well, la'gee ,the rain poured down like fast tears, unfortunately the mines are closed buncha thugs got in there like it's their own, shameful sods the lot of em be calling themselves Iron feathers he gave an unpleasant grunt so no metal, pointing across towards the blacksmith. Your welcome to stay the night it's free giving a sigh". Halashsa smiled will help you Mr. Hambone they both looking over at him "you sure about this" her face tilted eyes flashing brightly. "Yes," the bunny standing up, "these people depend on the mines without them there be," there was a long pause as there his eyes were a deep purple looking hard within her bright yellow ones. I couldn't save my home but I," his voice became firery, "I will not permit this town to be destroyed." She nodded with a wide grin "tomorrow Hambone" who clasped his hands together in appreciation, "you'll have your mine back".

Early grey mist sweeped through the rocky path, "so La'gee is a nickname his youthful voice stumbling against the incline of the mountain trail adjusting his balance. "He's an old friend, she mewed; He gave me a lot of work over the years," a gust started up as Halashsa gave a sniff " what, kinda work causing Aalageema to stop in place pausing feeling the windy misty pass over her as he caught up. "When I was a member of the Noc'Kuless she continued to walk he helped me with supplies; poisons, throwing knives things like that." Halashsa wanted to ask more but quickly followed her as they crouched down staying out of sight there were closing in on the entrance to the mine. "Alright two guards at the front ready," she turned to the bunny who had a small frown" you know we came here to kill them the targets right". He nodded the monks taught me that all life deserves to live ;however when there is no other way taking out a wooden pipe, "I wont kill anybody," loading it with a few sharp needles "but I will distract them so you can." The both of the smiling as she whispered, " I can work with that."

"Oh! By all that is!" Halashsa cried out with a yall "My leg! Somebody help me," As the two Boars came over from there posts kneeling down in confustion "What happening here," One of them said, "Oh I twisted my ankle letting the act play on, Oh Gods I see bone, I see Bone! screaming. "Lemme see" both the hogs were in an instant dazzled as Halashsa jumped up taking the blow pipe in position. He blew out several needles straight for their foreheads jumping backwards having put space between them."Ah the fu-" both hitting the ground knocked out in moments as Aalageema emerged banging their heads together in the confusion. As they walked into the dimly lit cave cautiously Halashsa thoughts worked over the size of the expansive tunnels then whispering softly "this mine isn't very big is it? "No'" she said quickly "the town is though," they continued deeper in stopping just before coming to the main chamber as they heard comotion over the next tunnel, "Let the mouse rot for awhile," looking over to his fellow feathered group "he'll fetch a price to the traders along with all this Iron", It was a lion's voice the bunny heard as well as the cawing of crows there laughter was sickening he nearly lost control shaking with rage as images of crows flooded his mind remembering how they attacked the monastery he composed himself his breath silent but tears working themselves down his cheek. Ready to crash this party Aalageema not looking back at him turning slightly I ready to avenge my brothers jumping out before she had time to react "By all the Gods!" he stood tall with anger rising up his spine, "You will all pay!" They all were startled "What the fu-" but before the lion could finish the bunny already in the air making contact with one the crows faces sending him down to the floor "This will," he yelled out ,"be your end" all were caught off guard as Halashsa gave a quick jerk with his arm as a ball of pale purple energy sailed to his next target making contact like a fist to his face sending another crow to the nearby wall he layed on the ground unconscious. "What are you?" yelling out astonished as the lion stood up quickly but was frozen by the curved blade around his neck "Id stop talking if i were you," Aalgeema purred softly watching the other crows dare not moving were then by the same purple energy that came from Halashsa were thrown aside to each wall joining the others blood gentle dripped from their noses. Should i kill him looking over at the bunny who already was calming down from his rage "No, the slave traders will make sure he's put to use." The lion started to shiver as waves of fear spiraled down his spine, "No! Gods No! please, Id rather die!" the lion was babbling hysterically as the bunny walked over with fists looking up slowly into the eyes of his murdered friends grabbing him close as the knife worked into the flesh. " You killed my friends you killed my brothers destroyed my home, my Life! It was a job his tears welled up "Tell me who" his hand moved directly in front of the lions face "Talk!" Shea noble we never saw her face what was she Halashsa grip grew tighter as the blade as a thin stick of blood had trickled down "A crow, She was a Crow!" He coughed and sputtered "Please mercy!" "Mercy" the bunny repeated in a whispered hush letting go of him then walking slowly away a few steps Aalagema watched on with a blend of satisfaction and heartache she knew all to well what was to happen Halashsa spoke from deep within his pounding heart, as tears fell from his face ",may the great ones grant your soul mercy for I never will." He let out a long trembling sigh hearing the sickening sounds of gasping air the sound of a quick slice to the throat without flinching he just stood there his eyes were closed as a the frown on his face grew in sadness.
