Very angry, this one... [WIP]

A very angry otter, meets a very happy and outgoing otter, thing happen...

A buff wolf exhales a puff of smoke as he drags his feet across the sand of the golden beach. He looks down at the now stub of a cigarette, and tosses it on the ground. He now leaves this story, because this is not a story about him, but about the young, awfully angry otter behind him. Yes, that one, the one now kicking sand over the still glowing cigarette butt. He mutters to himself, something about 'Nature killer' and 'ignorant wolf'.

So he continues to walk, attempting to clear his mind, and release a bit of that anger, but ends up only getting more angry. To him, it seems everyone but him is horrible and an atrocity, well, someone needs to change that. It seems he's not going to do it himself, but he attempts to be a better person, more often than not, in vain. He tells himself swimming might relieve him, and he may be right, but he tries to make sure.

He sighs as the semi-cool water fills the space between his toes, and creeps up his leg. He shivers exaggeratedly as the almost clear liquid reaches his privates, but the water keeps on rising as he wades deeper into it. It's at his chest now, tickling his nipples for moment before he continues, and it reaches his neck now. He stops standing upright, and starts swimming slowly.

He uses his thick tail to propel himself through the water, he flies about in it with ease, swimming in circles aimlessly. Like a shark circling prey, but of course he's not a shark, and there's no 'prey' to be found, as this is civilization. What a crude concept... He continues swimming, a small smile spreads across his face slowly as he lets himself be one with the water, as odd as that sounds.

He swims about for a half an hour or so before heading back in, not because he's tired, more so because he's starving. He shakes himself off once he's in knee deep water, flinging water everywhere, but not on anyone. Because as angry as he is, he's still a very nice person, just until he gets to know them. He hopes he'll meet someone who doesn't immediately get on his nerves, one who's maybe just as caring on the inside, and maybe the day he meets this person is today. Maybe it's tomorrow, or any period of time really. But today, is a relatively normal day for him, and so he continues it by drying off and heading home.

He glances at the faces of people around him, 'Are they angry? Happy? Sad?' He asks himself, trying to make himself feel normal by assessing everyone else, as he does himself. But eventually it comes to an end, as he arrives at his apartment. He does as he always, walks up the two sets of stairs, unlocks the door, and nearly slams it behind him. Always so angry this one... He pulls some leftover pizza out of his small fridge, it wasn't the healthiest, 'But i've eaten healthy all the rest of the week, so...' He tells himself, justifying his actions. He tosses a plate in the microwave, and then 2 slices of pizza on top. He slams the door and presses the 1 minute button with his thick digit. He pulls a glass out of one of the cupboards surrounding the microwave, and proceeds to fill it with water, about the healthiest part of this meal. He flings open the microwave as it starts to beep loudly, grabs his plate, and slides it from the edge of his dining room table, to his seat, and sits down.

He sits down at his usual spot and stares at the other side of the table, again wondering if anyone will ever occupy the space, he sure hopes someone does, as much as he hates most people. He ponders going online to find a mate as he bites off a large piece of pizza, 'I'll probably find somebody' He tells himself as he takes another bite. He finishes his pizza and throws his plate in the dishwasher before falling back into his quite comfy couch. He pulls his computer off the coffee table in front of the couch, and logs on.

The computer signs in quickly and he opens his fastest browser, he types 'Find a mate' into his search bar, it'll probably come up with something legit. He clicks the first link he sees and clicks 'Sign Up!' as soon as the page loads. His fingers swiftly press down the keys on his keyboard to punch in all his info, he clicks 'Sign Up.' once more and lets it do it's thing. He waits a second for his homepage to load, he uploads a pic, maybe more, and then adds a bio. It's pretty straightforward, and mostly true, so hopefully people like the real him.

Once he's done, he sets the computer away and walks slowly to his room, he feels like going to bed early today, maybe he'll be less grumpy tomorrow. And with that, he jumps on his bed, and falls asleep on top the covers.

The otter groans and rolls onto his side as a bit of sunlight hits his face. He falls back asleep for another fifteen minutes or so before FINALLY getting up, properly. He 'rushes' to his computer, as in he walked slightly faster than normal, and opens it up. He logged in once again and pulls the site up, he was quite surprised to see 7 notifications. 'Probably all bots...' he told himself, because that's how these sites work half the time. He scrolls through five of the bot messages before finding one from an actual person, he raises his brow as he notices this. He slowly moves his mouse to the little link to the message, as if he suspected something.

He clicked it and scanned the page for the message, once he had found it, he read it to himself silently. "Hey fellow otter! I see you live quite close to me and I think i've actually seen you at the beach." He gets a bit excited and clicks the otter's profile page link to see if he had any photos. 'Oh wow...' he muttered, 'He's the one who is tanning like, 24-7.' He decides to respond to the message to show at least SOME interest. The keyboard clacks as he types up his response. "Oh hey! I believe i've seen you as well, if i'm correct, you tan a lot don't you?" He presses enter and lowers his laptop's screen, not to the point where it's sleeping, but to where it's not an eyesore.

As he walks away, he hears the ping of another message, 'Wow, he must be online right now.' He heads back over to his computer and moves his pad across the tracpad to wake the computer. He clicks on the message and reads it. "Haha, yeah. That's me, your face seems familiar on here, but I can't quite remember you... But anyways, maybe you'd like to meet up sometime? I'm open... like, all the time really." The otter clicks on the calendar app and opens it up, he's free the next two days. He types up his reply, "I'm free the next couple of days, so anytime that works for you, works for me. And you can decide who comes over where, i'll warn you, my apartment's bit of a mess... But nothing I can't clean up pretty quickly."

Waiting a second, he uploads a couple more pictures of him, in case the other otter's stalking his profile. He hears the notification bell once again and clicks the message. "You can come over tonight if you'd like, i'm not a terrible cook, so hopefully we can work it all out! So does that sound good?" He shrugs and takes the deal, "Sure! What time? And also, what's your address?"... "Maybe... around like 6:30?, and I live on Seafoam drive, 1674" He contemplates and replies with "Alright, i'll be there!". He closes his computer and makes himself breakfast, smiling for once.
