Adelind's POV

It snowed that night. I woke to Ace and the others jumping on Tyro's back.

"Dad,Dad,Dad,they said excitedly,will you come out and play?"

Our kids loved the snow, they would have wars with the other draglings by burrowing under the snow and attacking from behind,they always started fights and always lost.

"Go away,he moaned,I'm not home."

"Yes you are,Ace said with a smile on his face,I'm on top of you."

"No you aren't,he said,still moaning,this is a recording".

"What's a recording,Ace asked,whatever it is,I'm pretty sure your not one."

"Yes I am,he replied groggily,watch this,leave a message,beep."

The others looked at Ace,who smirked,and jumped,throwing all his weight onto his father's back.

"ARRG,Tyro roared lifting his head,I'm up,I'm up."

"Dad,Dusk asked,will come out and play?"

"Later,he said laying back down,I'm tired,go play."

"Your loss",Ace said as he ran outside,followed by his brother and sister.

Tyro lay back down next to me,placing himself so his back touched my stomach and our heads were side by side. I wedged my head under his muzzle. The sound of his heart beat entered my body and my heart began to follow his.

"Kids wake you too,He asked sleepily.

"Yeah,I said yawning,I told them to wake you."

Tyro laughed,"Sometimes I wonder what life would be like if either of us could get a decent night's sleep.

I warped my tail around his,"I haven't had twelve straight hours since Ace learned to talk."

"No kidding,He said yawning,maybe it would have been better if we hadn't taught them to speak."

Tyro stood up and stretched out,shaping himself into a giant arc. From the position I was in,I had a clear view of his pumped up body,his mussels bulged more so than that of the biggest human. I coludn't help but look and like what I saw. He took notice that I was sweeping my tail across the ground,even though I did not and sarcastically asked,

"Enjoying the view?"

"Very much,"I said.

He smiled and continued to stretch. It was just one of those things,I coludn't take my eyes of of him.

"How did I,I said quizzically,get a hulk like you?"

"HA,Tyro roared with laughter,I'm the one that's lucky."

He lay back down,placing his stomach against my back and his left forepaw just underneath my front legs.

"I'm lucky to have the girl of my dreams,"he said placing his head beside mine. "I'm lucky to have a mate that cares as much about me as I do about her",he said closing his eyes and rubbing my muzzle.

I moved closer to him and wrapped his tail with mine.

"Adelind",Tyro asked in a soft,gentle voice I did not know he had,"when was the last time it was just the two of us?"

"The day before Ace was born,I said softly.

I could feel Tyro relax,his smooth heartbeat soothing me,his gentle breathing seemed to say,

"I'll never leave your side."

I relaxed too.I had a feeling of safety when ever we were this close. After a few minutes of silence,Tyro pulled me into a kiss. After breaking it,he said with a quiver in his deep voice,

"Every time we touch,I fall in love with you all over again."

He placed his head so close to mine It was touching.

"I love you with every fiber of my being Adelind,"Tyro said softly,"I don't know what I'd do without you."

"Nor do I,I said softly,nor do I."
