#6 of Problems of a Distraught Cub

"I'm glad you were able to make it on such short notice. I'm surprised twice, actually. The first is that you seem to be the perfect species match, and the second is that you were the only one to sign up for this. I'm glad you did though. Your species must be very rare."

"Oh it's no trouble... Dr. Müllen, was it? I have the weekend off, so I was able to drive out no problem."

"I find it fascinating that you are such a close match to the species that it would be a disgrace to see this fail. You're not albino like Kayleb is, but an Arctic Fox all the same. Why do you want to do this, Mr. Freedan?"

"Please, call me Josh. Like you said, it's true. Our species is rare. That warrants Kayleb the right to be with one of his own kind, right? Plus I have a house that my parents left me in their will when they passed, and it's taking up way too little space with just me there. Also, I've always longed for a child of my own, but never could have that option, as you well know," Seth nods and Josh continues on, "and Kayleb is pretty much a perfect match for both of us."

"This will take a while to work, if at all. This means you'll have to stay home for at least a few weeks to months if need be. These cubs, especially Kayleb, have problems that they need to deal with and get over. Will your work permit you to stay home? You will also need to be very patient."

"With the work I do, I'm allowed to stay home and simply do video conference calls and work online because my home computers can link up to the server at work. I just have to let my work know that I'm going to be staying at home for that extended amount of time. I may have to drive out to check up, but that never takes very long. Is there anything else you need to know, doctor?"

"No, I believe we are all good," the doctor slides a piece of paper to Josh, "come to this address on Thursday at the written time and we will have you meet him. We will take things from there."

**Doctor's Log - Monday, July 12, 2058** Kayleb has made great headway. He has opened up some since I've started working with him. At least from what I can tell from the files and notes the old doctor had written about Kayleb. I am starting a full...

This is a short part, sorry! "Well, Kayleb, it seems as though you're a tough nut to crack. I'm sure we can get you to open up though," the doctor says nearly scaring me literally half to death, "my name is Dr. Müllen, but you can call me Seth if...

"Yo Kayleb, you coming in or what? We've gotta get started. Take a few hits of this, and drink this. You'll feel really good soon and you'll be more willing to do this god damn film. You have to do it quick too, or I'll know you'll puss out," the snow...
