Bamyalee
#1 of Bamyalee
Hello! Here is the first of what will be many stories to be soon uploaded on this site. Critiques are welcomed and appreciated.
I once lived,
At the shores of Bamyalee,
Where nothing else touches,
But the sea.
Although filled with clear oceans,
And skies of blue,
This is not Paradise,
That is not true.
For you,
And for many have not seen,
Raglyatheth,
Monster of the sea.
It was many moons ago,
When I saw the beast,
It was a cherished celebration,
And a massive feast.
Many of us,
Out of the norm,
How little did we know,
The weird constellation that formed.
After we ate,
And drank our wine,
Did our little Island shook,
With all its might.
Soon came out,
Out of the sea,
Great scaly arms,
And a terrifying beast.
Its decaying carcass of fish and reptile,
With crude emplaced wings,
As we were all consumed by it,
And lost our sanity.
Only I was spared,
From the monstrosity,
As I here stand,
On the God-forsaken shores of Bamyalee.
