Woaw I thought I didn't even uploaded the first chapter here... Well now that I've got a few more watchers I'll try again submitting this here ^^

The Nightmare's Beginning

After that discussion, no one spoke for some long hours. Lông, Solaria, Calemvir and Sita all fell asleep quite quickly - and surprisingly, considering how hard and uncomfortable was the metal of their cages.

But at a moment or another they all realized, as they woke up with their chest or flanks (depending on the position they fell asleep) painful, that they still needed a softer floor to have some real sleep.

The sun began to dive behind the horizon, making the room slowly fall into the darkness. At one moment or another, the four dragons found themselves thoughtfully watching the light filtering through the hole that played the role of window, lost in their thoughts.

But no one tried to begin another discussion. Either because one of them was sleeping and they didn't wanted to awake him, or because they just didn't wanted to speak. An uncomfortable silence was reigning in the room, only punctuated by one of them moaning in his sleep, or growling as one got awoken by the hard floor.

Hours went by that seem an eternity for them four. When they weren't trying to sleep, they tried to study their new bodies, sometimes daydreaming on what they would do when they would be free - it made them fall asleep more than once. Or they just got lost in their thoughts, wondering if one day they'll come back to their human state to see their families.

But anyway, when the sun finally rose they all were feeling much better, even if still somewhat sleepy. The sunrise got greeted by a concert of yawning and stretching from the four newly dragons.

"'Morning everyone." Lông mumbled, finally breaking the silence.

The three other dragons answered by more or less convinced greetings.

"I've never slept that bad, and I'm really not demanding..." Calemvir grumbled.

"Sure, my chest is painful now..." Solaria answered.

"As for me it's the flanks." Sita continued. "Hopefully we aren't humans anymore... I don't know if I would even have closed an eye."

"I know that I wouldn't have." Lông nodded. "Anyway, how long are they going to keep us there ? They want us to die from starvation and thirst or what ?" he said angrily.

"Of course I wouldn't." answered a voice.

Calemvir, Sita, Lông and Solaria instantly turned toward where the voice was coming from. A man entered the room, pulling a cart in front of him. He didn't seemed really worried by the fact he just entered a room with four dragons that would probably tear him apart if they had the occasion to do so.

"I see you spent a good night. Did you already introduced each other ?"

Calemvir growled. "Just let me put you in that cage and you'll see if we spent a good night. Who are you, and what do you want from us ?"

The man snapped his tongue. "What a lack of politesse... But it's right I didn't introduced myself. Maybe this should help you remember ?"

Lông was going to make a crude reflection on where he could put his politesse when the man suddenly unfolded his wings, which were hidden behind his back.

Solaria and Sita gasped while Lông and Calemvir suddenly found themselves crouched in an attack position, wondering how they reacted that fast.

"I'm the Dragonman. You don't need to know my real name."

The twin tigers quietly showed up, silently sitting at their master's side.

"You !" Solaria shouted. "So all this show was only to kidnap us ?"

"It was." the Dragonman answered. "Did you like it ?"

Sita hissed loudly. "Just come nearer and I'll show you how I liked it !"

"Tss. Do you realize the chance you have to be dragons ? You should thank me for that, without mentioning the fact I'm not going to kill you. Yes, you heard it right. I'll just ask you to accept me as your master, and you'll live the rest of your life as mighty and powerful dragons."

The loud hiss the four dragons made was a clear indication of what they were thinking of that offer. The tigers stood up and growled at them, like wanting to intimidate them.

"I'll never obey you !" Lông growled.

"Never !" Sita repeated.

"Same for me !" Solaria added.

"Better die than being your slave." Calemvir said slightly more calmly than the others.

The Dragonman smiled.

"Slaves ? I never said you would be my slaves. I just will need you from time to time, and the rest of the time you'll be free to do whatever you want to and even more. You'll have your own lands to rule, all the wealth you want, and I don't speak of all your little pleasures satisfied..."

Lông blinked at the last statement, shocked. Did he just insinuated... When he saw Calemvir smirking, he knew that the black dragon also understood the same thing.

"You won't corrupt us like that !" Calemvir shouted, loosing his calm.

The Dragonman lost his smile. "I understand this is a bit sudden for you, and as I had to kidnap you... That's why I'll let you all the time you want to think about my proposition. This is your breakfast. In gage of my sincerity, it's not drugged, with your new smelling you can verify it. We'll see again."

With that, he put a new bowl of food in front of each cage, only gathering a growl at each one. Then, he left the room with the cart and his tigers.

During a minute, no one spoke in the room, as the four dragons were digesting what just happened.

"You got it too, Lông ?" Calemvir finally asked.

"Yeah..." the red dragon nodded. "That's... disgusting. To say the least."

Calemvir nodded.

"Then, let's eat that breakfast and find a way to evade." he concluded.

All the others nodded in agreement.
