The Legend of Phiro Prologue
#1 of Legend of Phiro
Prologue
Several large figures move through the mountain pass. There is a stretcher in between two of them, and the other four appear to be standing guard as they run along the path. The being on the stretcher is humanoid, and heavily armored. They continue until they come to a door, and snow begins to fall. One of them mumbles, and the doors slowly swing open, but there seem to be no hinges, or anything to propel the doors outward. They continue inside and torches begin to cast light on the empty hall. They continue to the edge to another door, which is already open. They move inside, and set down the stretcher. The group convenes, and after several minutes, one of them steps to the stretcher, and extends his arm to the being on the stretcher, the other toward the wall of the cavern. He shouts, and a blast of blue lightning flies from the being on the stretcher, through the figure, and strikes the walls. The being falls, and the walls begin to glow blue. The group, apparently satisfied with their work, exits the cavern, and closes the doors. Mist begins to form as they exit the hall. The group comes to the outside of the hall, onto the path, and then they chant something slowly. The doors to the hall seal themselves, and then sink into the rock wall, so that it appears as if the mountain has swallowed it. As the snow falls, the group convenes, and then quickly separates, scattering to the four winds.
