Arrival
#1 of The Dimension that Never Was (Known)
"Terry, there's something on the radar. Come check it out."
"Grey, this looks...odd. It looks like something, something big, is coming up. Have you seen something like this before?"
"No, never. Lemme-"
"What the-?! What's going on?!"
"We just went though the disturbance! The radar and engines are down! There's too much turbulence, we need to land!"
"But there's no were to- wait, something's down there! I'm gonna try to land, Grey!"
"Terry, no! We don't know what world that is!"
"Oh well!"
"Terry, don't-!"
In the northern regions of Terra, the central world of it's galactic cluster of planetary systems, a hole seemed to tear open in the sky, a somewhat normal occurrence except for one fact. The dimensional opening was more jagged than normal, and the somewhat small ship was smoking as it flew out of the portal. The sky was filled with a streak of smoke as the ship crash-landed a few miles outside of the large city that was home to half the planet's population. A small explosion followed the crash, and emergency services were immediately dispatched to the crash site.
A young human male, about 16 years old, groaned as he was dragged out of the wreckage by a male grey wolf fur, the same age. In the human's hand, he grasped a very odd weapon. A long blade, completely black, to a select few obviously a Keyblade, but one never before seen. It seemed to radiate pure power.
"Terry, are you okay?" Grey asked, himself having a gash on his left arm. He pulled Terry up, the boy's Keyblade vanishing.
"Y-yeah... not my best landing ever." Terry let out a soft chuckle, quickly casting Curaga, healing Grey's injury and his own concussion. Almost instantly after, sirens began to come from the distance.
"Terry, do you have any idea what world we landed on? I don't recognize this world at all." Grey murmured, shaking his head.
"No. I don't even think we're in the same system anymore. Get ready for anything." Terry replied as trucks moved into view. The doors opened, revealing a multitude of humans and furs, all covered in bulletproof armor.
"Terry, are you gonna pull out Fear?"
"No. Not yet. But get ready to cast Reflect just in case."
Adam made sure his bulletproof vest was on tight before hopping out out the pickup truck, the 19 year old black panther nervous. He'd heard about trans-dimensional portals opening up before, but not in such a fashion. But he was the captain of the squad here, so he had to take responsibility.
Walking out into the open, he saw the oddly dressed pair, obviously tired and physically sore. Looking over the human, he noted the black and grey hoodie, dark red shirt, and blue sweat pants. Adam was sure he wasn't from this system. But his friend was a bit more locally dressed. He had a simple long, black robe that he'd stolen from Organization XIII before the group had been eliminated.
"You two have entered the system ALM on central planet Terra. Name the system and planet you originate from." Adam said. He saw the two look at each other, and the human shrugged.
"We're from the planet Earth-X in the system Sol. I'm Terry, and my friend here is Grey. I'm one of the Keyblade wielders." This left Adam confused. He knew all the systems by heart, and Sol wasn't one of them. And he was pretty sure there was no planet called Earth-X. And what in god's name was a Keyblade?
"Alright... Terry. We're going to have to take you to the local law enforcement plaza to evaluate a few things." Adam nodded to his fellow officers, and a young human and larger white cheetah emerged from another van. The human was 17 year old newbie, Dan, one of Adam's close friends. The white cheetah was Adam's older brother, Carlos, 22 years old and considered one of the smartest people in the system.
"Fine, fine." Terry let out a sigh, and he and Grey walked over to one of the trucks. Adam led them into the back seat, and he and Dan sat on either side of them, while Carlos got into the driver's seat.
"Oh, Terry, by the way. What kind of ship is that? It's... abnormal."
"Oh, it's called a Gummi ship."
Terry looked out the window of the truck as he was driven into the city. It looked very different from his homeworld. It looked something like The World That Never Was, except not as dark, and it had no Heartless and Nobodies. Suddenly, Terry felt an odd jerk, and the movement of the vehicle ended.
"Grey?"
"Yeah Terry?"
"Honestly, I have a bad feeling about this world."
"Why do you say that?"
"...It's just a feeling." With that, Terry went quiet. The door beside them opened up, with Dan on the other side, revealing a large open area with some buildings in the middle.
"Okay you two, c'mon out." Carlos said from behind Dan, Adam with them. The group of three led Terry and Grey out of the truck, They were led to inside of the largest building, which was filled with plenty of equipment. As they came in, another officer was caught off guard and pulled out a rifle, aiming it at Terry.
"Reflect!" Terry shouted, and a barrier rose up around him and Grey as a shield. Carlos looked at them, cocking his head.
"What is that?" He moved towards them and put his paw on the shield. "Odd...an invisible shield that appears when you say Reflect?" Carlos asked. After a few seconds, Reflect faded, and Terry nodded, sighing.
"Can we just get this over with? If anything, we need to check to see if this world is safe from Heartless."
"Heartless?" Carlos asked. Terry looked at Grey, and shook his head.
"Nevermind. Just great..."
