I sighed and spoke to my lonesome self "Well it seems like I'm safe.

I'll get home using the long route. Like that I can avoid him for now." I

look to the right then the left. I closed my eyes to listen to the

world around me. I heard nothing so I begin to cross the street with my

eyes closed. I think back to how I met him.

I was zoned out crossing the street probably really stupid. A car came

out of nowhere the driver was texting I think, and then he came out of nowhere and

tackled me out of the way of the oncoming car. We landed in the grass. His body pressed on mine. I looked into his eyes and he looked into mine. I started out

saying my thanks to him, but he stopped me right there kissing me

gently. I kissed him back, and I didn't let go of him. We stood up and walked to the bus stop. I grabbed his hand feeling better for

some reason he saved me not just from the car, but from the emptiness

I always been feeling. He made me feel whole like I wanted to feel

so much.

I heard a honk. I opened my eyes, but a little too late. The car hit me. I

fell to the ground. My eyes are forced closed I couldn't open them no matter how much I tried as if they were stitched shut. I can feel my blood going down

my head dripping off my nose. The driver was saying something. I could barely hear him, but I can hear him he was saying "Hey kid. Are you ok?" I couldn't say a

word. "Hey I need an ambulance at..." I passed out I couldn't move, each

breath was so painful to take in.

Kino

I walked around in our room wondering where Brian is at. Brian usually

never comes this late unless he's hurt. I checked

the time '5:57.' I go and get the car ready to go. Most of the

hospitals know that he's my boy friend so they were ok with letting me

take him home at least now they are. The phone rang when I pick it up I hear doctors saying

random stuff "Hey Kino..." it was Brian "Babe where are you? You sound horrible are you ok?" He started coughing and hyperventilating. Babe, I hope you're ok you make me worry so much. "I'm at St. Michells hospital, room 35" He started coughing again. "I'll come right away ok babe just rest until I get there. And, babe" "Hmm?" "I love you." "I love you too." I heard a click and looked at the phone. I'm on my way babe. I got my jacket, and headed for the hospital.

I opened the door to room 35, and see him all covered up. I sat down next to him. I touched his hand and answering to my

touch his words were soft, but I could still hear him saying

"I'm...fine..." I kiss his hand gently "I know you are." He started

talking again "Sakura wasn't her real name...it was Sacdromonia meaning

princess of hell. I called her my princess because she was." I hushed

him and spoke to him gently "It is fine you don't need to tell me now. Tell me when you get better." The doctor came in "Why hello again

Brian, Kino" his tone was bitter. "Hey doc. How long will he

be here?" I hate this guy more than anything I wish he died or got fired. "Not long about a few." He took out a x-ray and showed us. He pointed to the cracks on the ribs

and on the skull. "He won't die but he needs lot of rest. And, should do nothing to stress him. He has to take calcium to help him with

his bone recovery. That means he will have to take pills." Brian

groaned when he heard him saying that he will be taking pills. "Ok so

nothing else right?" I asked. "No that's all" and he left the room

with that, and I was glad. I looked over at Brian he seemed to be out

by the pain he's in. I begin to leave the room saying in a whisper

"Night and you will be taking those pills." I left him there so he can

sleep and rest.
