The Story of the Noble Dragon, Critias
So I'm still alive, and I've finally got my creative rush back to try and tackle Uncovering the Past again. I've got the story more or less planned out, along with some twists that I hope really add to the story. So, as sort of a hint to one of them, I wrote my own little fable that may or may not have a connection to the main protagonist, Critias. Who knows, everything may not be as it seems... Feel free to give me some constructive criticism, because I would really like this fable to seem relatively legit for what I plan to do with it. Also, if anyone is willing, pm me if you would like to help me out with my story series and see what ideas I have so far (so you'll pretty much get every spoiler possible). Enjoy (please). ^.=.^
The Story Of the Noble Dragon, Critias
Long ago, before dragons walked on two legs,
there lived a noble dragon named Critias.
He protected those who were innocent and kind, willing away all who wished malice upon them.
Critias lived in a cave, for he could not live in the outside world.
The vast forests of the land had been claimed by the greedy outsiders, never to be shared.
Critias guarded the bounty of treasures found within his cave.
** But none of it was more valuable to him as the children who lived there as well.**
One day, a group of evil knights invaded his cave.
They wished to steal the great treasures that were hidden within the cave.
Critias approached them, warning them to leave.
The greed-blinded knights refused to listen, and attacked him, injuring him with their arrows and spears.
But Critias would have none of that.
Rising to his feet, Critias ROARED his mighty roar.
Frightened, the evil knights fled, never to return.
Critias did not pursue, for he knew that if he were to draw their blood, he would be no different from them.
So he was left to live in peace, and lived happily ever after.
