Winter Lullaby
The first in a series of poems I wrote :3 enjoy!

Safety in numbers, the lovers relent,
Repent the sins, lost wins, star-crossed,
Glossed with affection, reflection, effervescent,
Blessed session, living lovers like frost gleaming.
Meeting in forgotten harmony, calling, crying, fleeting
Freeing, finally seeing, the throes through the fears,
Tears, joyful tears, flowing over my being,
Frozen, glowing star-shine bright.
Like beaming light, blazen, lifting, bringing life,
Blowing, laughing childlike.
Fight boldly for what you keep;
Leap into the wintry wonderland.
Perhaps then, no weak selfish mortality,
In actuality, love is forever young,
Sung in many moments, strung tight,
Strength might take time,
But living lovers shine in sunlight.
The happy & the sad, had you melted,
Belted and bellowed, your undying wish,
Miss too much, see too little.
Never settle for less than "more than enough".
It's tough, taking time truly to tear the walls down,
Hoping my bleeding ties, intertwines,
My drops erasing all, chasing love in my mind.
Snowflakes shiver in the cold, growing old and gray.
As the season passes so shall we surely?
Leave love unburied, immortal souls,
Collected in piles of ashen snow.
