Digimon: Data Release
#1 of Digimon: Data Release
tweaked and a nice place to end the extended first page as the first chapter. i'm happy with this as a "manga style of writting, short chapters of intense writting and i hope to continue again shortly. any and all comments are welcome. thank you all for waiting so long for me to post this. i hope to find my groove again and keep on trucking.
AUTHORS NOTE: this is the umteenth time i have tried posting the first few chapters of my story a few times and each time i keep getting interupted and having to stop. fun. any way this i was writting roughly since i was a sophmore in hs, and dove back into my anime starting with familiarity... yay digimon. first 3 seasons my fav, 4th, is sketchy but beggers can't be choosers. back to the story. i am typing this from the pencil written copy i did to get back into writting. needless to say things kind of spittered out mid chapter. my writting style is as far as i can tell all first person and it will probably shift numerous times so look for the three *'s. i am a bit of the way thropugh chapter 6 and think of it like a written manga where the pictures are in your head instead of walking you through pannels... now i have become long winded so i will leave you with this last bit, some of this has been tweeked (like upping the age of Malakai from 15 to 17 or older) while typing and posting. now, enjoy the opening of my creation... and thank you for reading. {}=thoughts []=being written
Digimon: Data Release
Chapter 1: discoveries
In a plane hundreds of feet above sea level, a boy sits scrawling on a peice of paper to pass the time. { You don't know me and i don't know you... So to solve this problem... }[I will start at the beguinning. A great number of years after the time of the first digi destined, and the gate sealed. Digimon returned to the human world. That's when it started. Digimon created a transport between worlds based on the initial gate the second generation used. This spawned two organizations called D.A.P.P.A and the D.P.I. { The Digimon And Partner Protection Acency, and the Data Patrol Initiative. } The funny thing about all of this is that only the partners with the strongest bonds, actually became more than friends or family through bonds. Those pairings actually tried at offspring but since digimon have no gender well you can guess how those problems went.] He chuckled to himself.
[My mother passed protecting me as an infant. She died while she was on assignment to the digital world. I was brought home by Halsemon. Dad said i fell from the sky shrouded in silver mist and was "delivered" home. It was because of that moment that he named me Malakai. Because i came with the message of my mother's passing. Growing up i was alwayse playing "instant messenger" between my mom]{ or who i thought was my mother since he had married a short while after and before my memory began since he felt i needed a mother. }[and dad. Only reinforcing my names meaning, "my messenger" to the end. After a while I hit what some could term an early rebelious stage, that is where things get inturesting.] { the first time some thing happened... } He mused quietly chewing on his pen.
Recalling the past was alwayse an unsure thing for him since some of his early memories had random gaps at the most un-nerving points. Even now he felt a chill remembering that unfateful winter day on the walk home. He had problems like other kids, but this one moment from his elementary days would alwayse give him a wierd chill. The biggest bully of the school had started making it a point to drag down all the new kids before he went on to middle school. Shis sad day he started with snowballs with no idea he would be beaten and scared straight. Malakai only told him off and went back to his walk. After an unsetteling jibe about his dead mother being a coward who "couldn't hack it" Malakai gave the boy a full show of his intent and a severe tongue lashing. Malakai alwayse believed in those days every thing could be talked out. he would learn this day he was wrong... Some times you have to use your fists to settle an issue when no one but you can do something. Will against will, And who lost control first, would lose. after being called away by his best friend who pointed out the boy was CLEARLY not worth it.
Heeding his friend he turned away. after his friend and him were a goodly distance away they both heard the boy shout something. though he didn't hear what was said Malakai turned to effectively end the day and go home in peace. but while they were both turning something solid and cold slammed into his temple and dropped him in the snow. through the spots in his eyes he saw red staining the snow and his head burned and throbbed. looking up from his knees he saw his friend looking shocked and furious. "lets go home Roi" he said to his friend who had seized what was left of the ice chunck that had knocked him on his ass a moment before. Pressing his hand to his bleeding temple he tied to stand. Roi helping him suddenly wend limp and down with a solid chilling thud and puff.
That was the moment he was terrified of. Something dark and ominous rose from with in him. He felt hot, and hungry. his veins were fire and his heart pounded in his ears. staring at the boy who was starting to come closer looking rather pleased with himself. Malakai swore to himself over his limp friend it would never happen again. He would face down any and EVERY enemy that would rise before him, and tear them down for those behind him. a snear split his face as he felt an over whelming need to harm this waste of space, he wanted to see the color of the boys blood, surely it would be as black as his actions and smille. Standing between Roi and the bully his vision began to go red as the air grew hotter than his blood, the last thing he remembered was the snow flying up in a torrent from a sudden gust and the boys face blanching suddenly uncertain of his situation. Roi's voice behind him sounding impossibly distant. Then, his whole world went black.
