I stole this from my other profile and put it here.

It is full of mistakes and missing words.

I hope those that suffer through it like it

Thank you.

With the sun breaking threw the clouds and hitting the eyelids, he wakes up. "Of course, the sun would burn through the clouds and hit me just perfect." He muttered. After rolling around for a few more moments he gives up. "Fine, I'm getting up! Let us see what I can eat for breakfast." All around him are the meals of months ago. Many have began to rot and collect maggots. The smell is terrible and causes the weak stomach to turn. It did not seem to sicken him. He has lived like this for years.

"I see I have ran out of half decent food. I will have to go into town and acquire some. Ha, acquire, what am I some kind of rich bastard." he laughed. " I'm sure the people in the neighborhood will be happy to see me again. I only have to take care of a few things first." He wandered off to clean his teeth and make sure his breath was not too offensive.

"What a day," he said sarcastically, " the sun is shining and all the clouds have left and with them the shade. Even the trees have stopped giving off shade. Oh well, at least it is not horribly hot or humid." He moved out into the full sun. His eyes winced in the full contact of the light. He heard a far off scream from someone noticing him. He thought to himself. So it already starts.

With a lazy yawn he started to stretch so he would not pull anything. His wings caught the sun as they were out reached to warm up. His scales would have shimmered in beauty, but he never cleaned himself. He laid in garbage and rot. Every chance he got he would roll in the soil and mud to deter the insects. His claws dug into the earth as he shook off the cobwebs of sleeping for months. Some of his claws were broken and all were filthy and covered in meals of the past. His tail laid sloppily on the ground he did not even care to hold it up.

His wings started to catch the wind and carry him towards the sun. He slowly and pathetically lifted off the ground. He stayed low to the ground so he could catch the person screaming and running away. "Huh, I don't have the energy to deal with this loud person." He said as he flew over them and torched them. " I hope the rest of the town is in a better mood to see me again," He thought. The town began to come over the horizon. As soon as he started to close in on the town. The towns people started to prepare for his visit.

The walls came to life with people clad in sad armor. The people readied their arrows and buckets of water. They had put all the animals away and hid the straw and hay. "It looks like they have missed me too much. I'll have to visit them more often. And remind them this is all pointless." He told himself. Soon something new came over the wall. A huge spear aimed right at him. He barley avoided it. "What was that?" He screamed. "Who gave that to them?"

Before he knew it many more giant spears were coming from all direction. The sky started to get a little crowded. "Where did all these people come from? And who is supplying them with such a terrible weapon?" He thought. Unknown to him the people have been awaiting for his return and asked all the towns for help. Many were poor but a few that were sick of him had money and armies. They planned for months to take him down.

One had to get lucky and strike him. It caught him down his right side, cutting him deep. He clenched his side as blood fell down on the people. Who then let erupted in joyous noise. He started to lose altitude. The ground was coming up fast and with it many people with sharp weapons to finish him off. "If I have to fall I am not going to do it here." He thought to himself. He started to flap with all his strength just to reclaim some air. He turned and let out a huge fire ball in desperate attempt to get some revenge.

He managed to get up high enough so the spears could not reach him. He opened his wings as far as they would go. It was a trick an older dragon had showed him. It was lazy flying but could save you a lot of energy and get you out of pickles. "I have to get out of view of that town. Or they will just follow me to where I land and kill me." He told himself

Soon the town went behind the horizon. He again started to fall towards the ground. He kept his wings opened so he would not land hard. " I can't go home, they know where that is. I am sure they are waiting for me there. Oh well it is not like I have a home full of treasures or anything like that." He said as he readied himself to land.

And open space near a river is where he planed to land. Sadly he came in a little hot and hit the ground hard and he slid into the water face first. "Oh! Great! That is what I need right now!" He screamed at the sky. " Some dirt in my cut and water up my nose. Whatever, I need to be quick they will be following that giant trail of blood I left."

He looked at the cut they gave him. It was open good and bled the same. He would not last with it going as it was. He could not see any organs. He knew what he had to do. He pinched the wound closed. With tears in his eyes he cauterized it himself. The pain was so great that is caused him to pass out.

He woke up and was surprised to see the sun set and he was still laying in the river. The filth that was all over him was still being washed off. Many fish were floating around him, dead. "Why haven't they found me while I was out?" He let out with some pain. What he did not know is the filth that he polluted the river with, had made it's way down river towards the town. The people were ready to follow him and filled up there canteens and let there horses drink from the river. It killed the horses and many people. Those who did not die were very sick.

"Well I guess that is my good luck for the day," he said. " I'm lucky they didn't find me. He looked at the job he did on his side. The wound was sealed but left a huge painful scar. "Dam, up until now I was perfect and the best looking dragon in the world. It isn't hard when you are the last one, but still." He told himself.

"I've got to find a new home or at least a place to rest for a minute. I have no idea where I have landed. I don't recognize any of this crap around me." He said. There was a small hill across blocking his view in one direction. He got up to look over it. He picked himself out of the river and shook off the water and all the filth with it. " Huh? It isn't so bad being clean I will have to take more time to do it." He thought.

He limped his way towards it with his wings tucked in. He slowly looked over it. There over the hill was a good size barn. "Maybe I could fit in there?" he thought. As he got closer to it the barn it got smaller. "It looked a lot bigger from back there." He mentioned to himself. " I think I can still squeeze in there." With a lot of effort he managed to fit his enormous body in it if just barely. He had to take off the hole front just to fit. As he curled up to lay down his sides put strain on the building. Soon the walls gave and he was only laying under the roof that had fallen on him. He did not notice, he was already fast asleep.

He awoke with the sun again hitting his eyes. For a moment he was ready to roll ever and fall asleep. But he remembered where he was. " I have to do something but I don't know what." He thought in his morning haze. With the light he thought he would be able to see something. But just as before in the dark there was nothing but a terrified farmer. " Well it looks like someone delivered breakfast today." He said during his chewing.

He got up and stretched out his wings to find a new home. Soon he found something was wrong. There was pain in his left wing. He badly wounded it in the fall and slide. " I guess I'm walking for now." He sighed. He limped off into what looked like a good direction.

Soon he came too a forest. "I guess I could at least hide in it." He said. "I just have to find a way to get into it with out leaving a huge trail." He found a space between the trees and made his way through deeper into the forest. He came onto a clearing just as the sun started to set. "This looks like a good enough to pass out. I'm pretty deep in here and the stupid people believe the forest is an evil place to be in at night. Which at the moment they might be right."

He laid down in a small divot in the center of the clearing. The sky was clear and the moon was full. It didn't bother him to much. Halfway through the night something woke him up. There was someone walking on top of him. " They must think I'm just part of the land." He thought. " But who would be walking around in the forest at night on a full moon?" He thought about just rolling over and eating them. But he had to know what were they doing out here and who were they.

He rolled over and pinned them under his claws. It was a female, she was wearing pants something the females did not wear. This person caused him to think of more questions. She didn't scream either she only swung at his claw. Which was something most don't do. She was fighting to the end.

"Will you stop that." He said. " Never I will not be eaten by you! I refuse to just give up!" She screamed while hitting him and attempting to bite him. " I'm not going to eat you, well, not right at the moment. I want to ask you some things." She settled down but had a puzzled look on her face. " Why would you want to ask me anything. You mean what have I been eating and what I taste like!" She again yelled. " I am not falling for this!"

"Fine I'll just eat you," he said with a smile. " Wait! Fine I will answer some of your questions. As long as I get to ask you some." she said. " I believe I'm holding all the cards but ok I will answer a few. First what are you doing out here in the forest at night let alone in a full moon?" " I am seeking what a gypsy has seen in my future." " And what would that be?" He asked. " She saw that I would find a true love in the depth of fear." " So you are only afraid of the forest and the night?" " I am now. I have followed all my fears and concord them all. The last one is the taboo of going into the forest at night. I waited for the full moon to make sure it was even more fearful." "You don't seem too scared to me." "I know, I believe I have concord this fear as well. I do not know what is left."

"What about you?" She said pointing at him. " Why are you here?" " I chose to sleep here I'm tired from destroying towns and needed a quick place to sleep. So I landed here and passed out." He lied. " Oh, I though you were hiding from who ever put that wound down your side. And it looks like you walked here I can see your prints in the earth." " Why did you have to be so dam smart? Yes I'm laying here hoping they don't find me. I have lost my house to them and they wounded me. I don't know where to go from here."

" What about you? You said you have ran out of fears." He said, " what are you going to do now?" "I do not know, maybe I was never meant to find love." She whimpered. " Would you mind taking your claws off me or just eat me." " Sorry, I'm not going to eat you. We have the same problem. Perhaps we can help each other." " Why would you help me?" " You can go out into the world with out being killed on sight. You also know more about what is around here. So, maybe you know of a place I can live with out being close to these jerks. And I would keep you company and keep you safe." " That does not sound like a fair trade." " Maybe I could find you someone to love or get you some money so you can buy a husband."

She let out a laugh. " I have never seen such a pathetic dragon. To hope a human will help. I can not buy a husband." "Why not?" He asked. " You do not buy love you find it. Have you never been in love." "No I have not. I'm the last dragon and love is not worth the trouble." " I think I will help you if just to see where all this life is going for me."

"Where would you like to call home?" She asked him. " I don't really mind. Just somewhere big enough for me and some things I might collect over the years. And if it could be hard for a human it get to. That might just keep me out of trouble with them." " I know of a mountainous place. I am not too sure of any caves that are there. So it might take a moment for me to find one or even get close. What if you flew us both there?" " I would but I have damaged my wing while landing gracefully on my face." He opened his wing to show her where it was bent funny. " Do you see anything?"

She examined his busted wing. She looked at the other one to get a reference of a working wing. "Now understand I have never seen a dragons wing up close. Or every wanted to, one usually runs from the silhouette." She told him. "Just see if you can find anything wrong or out of place." He pegged her. Soon it was clear that he pulled it out of socket. It was having trouble opening and staying fully stretched. "You have pulled it out of socket and it has to be popped back into place." She told him. "How do we do that?" "Well maybe if we get a horse and I run it out straight. It might just pull it far enough to get over the bone and fall back into place." " Where do we get a horse? It's the middle of the night." " There is a farm not far from here. It is right outside of the forest to our east."

They both made their way to the end of the tree line. She pointed towards a distant light. " There is the farm I was talking about. It should have horses. And some rope so we can do this." " Ok I will stay here in the trees while you go risk your life stealing a horse." He thanked her. " What! You said that wrong! you are now coming with me and making sure I stay out of trouble." "Fine, lets go."

They crept to the fence where she then spotted some horses. She silently jumped it and made her way to them. She managed to get close enough to one. It was already to go. "What kind of farmer keeps his horses fully saddled all night." She thought. Then the door to the house opened and she got her answer. One that isn't asleep and getting ready to go somewhere. The farmer saw her in the light of the house and reached for a sword. " Please sir. I just need the horse for a few moments." She pleaded, " I will return it unharmed." The farmer was having non of this. He started towards her shouting obscenities. She turned to run when she noticed a bright light coming from over the fence. The house and the farmer busted into flames. Then a whisper came from where the fire ball did. " I got him."

She got the horse and some rope. It was not hard with the farmer being dead. She rode the horse over to him with an angry expression. "What was that for? I could of handled it and he would not have had to die!" She yelled. " You told me to protect you. He was coming at you with a weapon. I'm pretty sure he planned on killing you." He defended. " That is not the point. He did not have to die! You are going to have to stop doing things like that. It is no wonder why you have that broken wing and scar. Please next time wait for me to say something. I do not like the idea of killing." " That is going to be hard for me. I'm not used to just letting people do things like that and live. I hate them and they hate me." " What about me? Do you hate me even after I said I would help you?" " It is still early but you have a little more of my trust." " Let us get this over with."

She tied one end of the rope to the tip of his wing. " Hold your wing open," she said. He stretched out his wing. She took off in the opposite direction. The rope went tight and pulled his wing up and over the joint. It fell into place with a horrible pop. He fell on his back screaming in pain. He rolled around with tears in his eyes. Sadly he forgot she was holding onto the rope. He flung her off the horse and a few yards towards him. She managed to let go before she was too hurt.

She got herself up off the ground ready to kick him in the wound. She looked at him and started to laugh. " What kind of dragon are you. You can not handle even a little pain. You start crying and squirming in pain." " Shut up! It hurts bad. I don't think I will ever fly again." He cried. " Did we get it?" " Yes we did." He opened his eyes and looked at her with his saddest face he could make. Then he notice she was covered in dirt and trigs. "What happened to you? You are all dirty." " You pulled me off the horse and flung me in the air. I had to hit the ground at some moment." " I'm sorry," He said as he got up and all the pain was magically gone. " Are you ok?" "Yes I'm fine.

His wing was still sore. " I can move it easier but it still hurts," he griped. "We might be walking there. How far is it?" " By foot, for me, its about a month or two. I know of a few towns we might have to side skirt. That will add more time to are travels." She answered. " We still have that horse so I can ride by your side." " I didn't think you wanted to keep the horse." " What did you do with the horse." She said looking around for it. He spit out the saddle at her feet. "Why did you eat it!" " I was hungry my last meal was that farmer and he was burnt to nothing." "You ate the farmer too!" " I didn't want him to go to waste." he said with a faked chuckle. "You know what this means don't you?" " No, what?" "You are carrying me. Now get down here so I can climb on."

"What? There is no way I'm going to let you ride on my back. I have my pride." He said while lifting his head higher. " What pride? Who is going to see or care. You yourself said you're the last of your kind. I believe you because I have never seen another dragon. So you are not going to upset any other dragons. People don't like you so who cares what they think of you." "Fine since I ate the horse, but if anyone comes along I'm hiding." " That was the plan all along."

He lowered his back and head. She climbed on being careful of his wing and scar. She found a comfy spot where she could command his movements. She would never tell him that or the ride would be over. She knew how to hint to make him do things her way. "Are you alright up there? Can you see?" he asked her. "Yes I can. Can you hear me alright?" She asked him. "Yes I can, So you don't have to yell." "Can you handle all my weight?" " Just barely. So don't go eating anymore."

By the time they found the farm and set his wing it was morning. Their journey together started.
