It's Never too Late
I began a simple life
Free of anger, sin, and strife
Slowly they did poison me
To the creature you now see
A darkened soul makes a darkened heart
Trying to rip myself apart
For they know they cannot understand
When truth and man go hand and hand
Do you see what evil has done?
Look around at everyone
Sin is free and strife is loose
Hanging freedom by a noose
Can't you hear justice calling?
Can't you see the earth is falling?
Can't you feel that truth is dead?
Where are you being led?
I hear your story, I hear your plea
Do you just keep going, how hard could it be?
Are their shackles round your legs?
Hands stuck through with iron pegs?
How can you move on when you can't even move?
Remove the shackles, walk on and prove
That you are stronger than them who hate
Just keep on trying, it is NEVER too late
