A Case Best Left Untouched Part 4
Chief Inspector Wesker arrived and entered the interrogation room. Wesker was a jackal and his body was a midnight black with a white tipped tail. He was dressed in a black blazer with a white button up and Grey tie. His pants were black and he had his F.B.I. badge hanging out of his left blazer pocket. As he entered the room he glanced at Sora and Sero.
"Well now. You're the one who survived our latest suspect's attack hmmm?"
"Y-Yes sir," said Sero with a shiver.
"Now, now my dear wolf pup. You are in safe hands here," said Wesker with a confident smile. He brought out a notebook and began writing a few questions down.
Sero sat there silent with his tail tucked between his legs shivering at the thought of having to re-cap everything that had just happened; the terror that would always haunt him for the rest of his life. Sora gently placed a paw on Sero's shoulder and brought him close until he was resting on his shoulder. He nipped gently at Sero's ears and licked them.
"Let's start. What happened and I want every detail you have to offer if you'd please," said Wesker.
Sero let out a whimper and took a deep breath. He wants every detail of what that horrible hyena did? I'm going to try but I'm not sure how much I can say without bursting into tears. The thought of not seeing Sora anymore is more than enough.
"Alright I'll tell you anything you want to know as long as you catch that sick bastard and make him pay for the things he has done to me." After taking record of the time and reassurance that Sora was with him, he began telling Wesker what happened.
Two hours passed and it was already 9:00 p.m. when Sero was done telling Wesker everything he knew. Though the interrogation Sero cried so much and held onto Sora so tight he almost got dehydrated and Sora had a dent in his fur. Wesker dismissed them and thanked Sero for his help with the investigation.
"Get some sleep you two, you need it," said Wesker waving them good-bye.
"Sora could we go out and get some food before we head home," asked Sero with puppy eyes.
Sora put his arm around Sero's shoulder and told him with a smile, "Sure thing. Anything you want Sero."
As they were walking to their truck Sero had a funny feeling that someone was watching them. Stopping, he looked around with concern. The hair on his back stood up, his ears lay flat, and his tail was tucked between his legs.
"Are you ok Sero," ask Sora concerned.
"No. It's nothing just thought I sensed something that's all. I guess I'm still a little shaken up." He looked at Sora with a slight smile.
"Well don't worry I'm here for you now," he embraced Sero and nuzzled his cheek. "I promise I won't let anything happen to you ever again. You're all I have left."
"Okay," a shiver went down Sero's spine and he wrapped his paws found their way to Sora's back.
"This is going to be a great hunt," said the hyena grinning.
Sora and Sero got into the truck and began driving to The Deserted Flower. It was a five star eating establishment and Sero's favorite place to eat. It was a thirty minute drive from the agency so it was pretty convenient. Sero was happy they were going to eat there but his mind was still on the hyena that held him captive. Recalling the events made him shiver; Sora could clearly sense his mate's uneasiness. He pulled over and lifted the middle seat to pull Sero close.
"Sero it's ok I'm here for you. I'm so sorry I didn't protect you. I promised you I would never let anyone hurt you and I failed." He began to weep while holding Sero in his arms.
"Sora... you don't have to apologize. It's not your fault ok? Please don't cry so much over me. I can't stand seeing you like this. I'm here aren't I?"
"You're so important to me Sero I cannot think of living a single day without seeing your smile or feeling your touch. I love you so much!" Sora leaned closer to Sero and began to affectionately nip and his neck.
"Ahh," gasped Sero with love. "I love you too Sora." Sero could not hold Sora up because his body began to melt with every nip. He began to slowly lie across the seats until Sora was completely on top of him. Sora licked the cut on Sero's muzzle. Sero flinch in pain and looked into Sora's eyes.
"I'm sorry Sero, don't worry. I'll make all of you feel better in no time," he gently licked Sero's cut. Sero had no choice but to let his mind go blank as Sora savored every part of his furry body.

"Welcome to The Deserted Flower," said a hazel eyed tan husky dressed as a waiter. "Allow me to show you to your table." He gave a bright smile and walked to a table located in the right rear corner.
Sero and Sora followed the husky to their table holding paws. Sero was still blushing from the previous events. Sora pulled out a chair for the bashful wolf. After seating himself the husky waiter set down two menus for the couple.
"May I get you something to drink?"
"We'll have a bottle of wine and two glasses of water thank you," said Sora smiling at the husky.
"I'll be back in a minute with you drinks and to take your order," yip the husky as he left.
Sero was skimming though the menu and secretively licked his chops. Everything looks so good I cannot choose! Hmmm... maybe the soup, pasta, or salad? As the wolf looked over the menu indecisive Sora already made his decision. He looked as his partner with amusement and let out a small chuckle.
Sero looked up to see Sora laugh at him. "What's so funny?"
"You are silly."
"What? How am I being funny," questioned Sero annoyed.
"You can't decide what to get, am I right? That's what's making you look funny but come to think of it," Sora leaned in closer, "You are being very cute too," teased Sora winking.
Sero blushed and hid behind his menu. The husky returned with the bottle of wine in an ice bath and two glasses of water. Obtaining a small notebook from his apron he looked at the pair.
"Sorry for not introducing myself earlier. My name is Zen and I'm going to be your waiter for the evening," smiled the husky. "May I take your order?"
"I'll have your vegetarian style pasta and Sero?"
"Um... i... will have the.... Same," hesitated Sero with a small blush.
"Alrighty. I'll be back in a flash." Zen left to fetch the pair their order.
Sora was staring at Sero as the wolf took a sip of his water. He noticed and began staring back at him. Their gazes were set for a good two minutes until Sora looked away.
"Yes I win!" yipped Sero.
"Wait we were having a staring contest," questioned Sora.
Sero leaned back in his chair, "But of course, isn't that why you were staring at me intensely?"
Sora thought about it and realized, he was staring intensely at Sero. He tried to sound cool as he began, "ahem... Well I was just thinking about how you looked before we got here."
Sero gasped and kicked Sora under the table. Sora flinched with pain and surprise. When he looked up he found a blushing and embarrassed wolf.
"Don't tease me you jerk!"
"I'm sorry but I can't help it. You're so cute," said Sora with a smile.
Zen arrived with the couple's order and pleasantly said, "Here you go. I hope you enjoy. If there is anything else you need feel free to ask." He turned and left with a smile.
The pair began to enjoy their meal; savoring every bite. About 20 minutes later they were full and ready to leave. Sero left a tip of five dollars and walked with Sora to the parking lot. An uneasy chill sent chills down his back and fluffy tail.
Sora asked concerned, "Is there anything wrong?"
"No it's nothing just cold out," Sero replied with a crack in his voice.
"Well hello there my little escaped wolfy."
The pair turned quickly in surprise and saw a hooded fur, a pistol gleamed in the moon light.
"I've foooooound yooooou..."
