The coffee was perfect as always and with a cheerful air Leon felt he should treat himself to trip to the book shop. He and Gabe spoke briefly about the shy fox he had bumped into. Gabe felt that the fox had a little thing going for Leon but Leon wasn't so sure. Gabe would sometimes joke about this sort of thing to Leon and Leon would always laugh and they would go back and forth on the subject and then forget about it. This time however Gabe approached a little differently. He asked Leon how Martha was doing and Leon told Gabe about how they had another argument. He told him all the problems that they had with each other, how they could never agree on anything, how though he tried he couldn't make her happy. Gabe stood there and nodded for the most part and when Leon finally finished his rambling Gabe smiled and said "What do you think your gunna do"? Leon said he wasn't sure, but he had a few ideas.

For the first time in a long time he found himself considering what Gabe had been telling him for a while. Leon was a good looking young wolf but his problem was he never pursued anyone. He had met Martha at a Christmas party after being introduced through a friend. He began to wonder why he didn't try to speak more with that fox. He felt a little funny because he had never chatted with a guy with the intention of going out with him. Admittedly he would admit that the fox was handsome. He was just as tall as Leon (who was six foot one) and he had very handsome features. He had dark brown eyes and his fur was vibrant and healthy looking, a clean and full winter cloak. He had pleasant lines which accentuated his muzzle line. Leon stopped and thought for a moment realizing that he remembered a lot about the fox's features.

As he continued walking toward the bookstore he noticed that the fox he had ran into was a few stores down on the other side of the street. Leon moved quickly to get into the book store before he could notice. Leon however was easily noticeable with his black fur against the façade of the yellow building that was the book store. By chance Nathan was thinking many of the same thoughts Leon was. Nathan figured that he could take a chance for once so he crossed the street and made his way to the book store.
