Part 4 Kaous

Dragoune got up in a good mood, he was going to be a father and it has now been three days since Kaous had given him a nightmare. Nothing could spoil his mood today; he looked at Saneira smiling even more loving how cute and peaceful when she sleeps. He started rubbing her back on how the way she likes it and she started moan.

"Oh....Dragoune....that feels...so good." She said, Dragoune continued but wanted to see if she was awake, but to his utter amazement she wasn't.

'I guess I am giving her a back rub in her dreams as well' Dragoune thought to himself laughing a little. While he was continuing he looked out the window finding that it was late in the morning.

'I wonder what we will do today.' He thought to himself or so he thought.

"Why not go outside and practice?" Saneira said and Dragoune nearly jumped out of his scales.

"I thought that you were still asleep?" Dragoune said recovering

"I was but you were thinking too much and your thoughts woke me up." Saneira said smiling and licking Dragoune's cheek a little.

"Sorry that really was not my intention. But anyway as for your idea, I like it; I need to get outside for being in this castle for a while." Dragoune said so they kissed once and then started to get ready. Before they left they decided to ask everyone if they want to join. They first spotted Crosain coming out one of the hallway holes. When they came up to him they asked.

"I rather not because snakes are not good with frontal attacks we prefer stealth." Crosain said, and Dragoune knew that Volaxone still wanted to stay in the library so they went alone.

With Dragoune flying it did not take long to find a nice quite place near a river so they can practice with no disruption and get a drink when they were tired. First they decided to attack against each other, Saneira made sure that Dragoune did not use his tail sword. Even though she had a lot of speed Dragoune still had the upper hand when ever he used it. They got into their ready positions and then Saneira disappeared; she always wanted to make the first move. She slowed down enough to appear in a tree, then on one side of Dragoune and then behind him. Dragoune knew this attack all too well because it was her favorite one and knew how to counter it. He stood still only letting his eyes move and also followed her scent. She then attacked behind but he blocked it by sticking a sword behind him. When he turned around she was gone again.

'So she wants to see if she can get me without it being a tie.' He thought to himself

'This is going to be interesting.' And then she attacked right in front of him but again he blocked it. Usually by now she would have won the duel if it were any one else, but Dragoune can almost match her speed and be able to keep up with her. There is one flaw with her attacks if it takes too long she slows down and that is why Dragoune always had beat or tied with her. But this time she had something up her sleeve she was only doing what she usually did just to catch him off guard. That is when she attacked on one side making Dragoune turn and then went behind him and took one of her swords and put it up to his throat.

"I win." She said with a grin lowering her weapon and sheathing both swords.

"A very strategic move, you have bested me this time, but it will not be so easy next time." Dragoune said smiling as well and turning towards her.

"You are just a poor sport." She said kissing Dragoune and him returning the kiss. They stayed like that for a little bit and Dragoune said.

"Come on let's get a bite to eat." Going towards the river, Saneira following him.

Dragoune then went on all fours watching the water, waiting for a good sized fish. When he saw one he struck at it, grapping it with his jaws, and throwing it to the side.

"You are quite good at it now." Saneira said. Dragoune only grunted in return, because he remembered all too well that when Saneira had showed him how to do it. He thought catching fish was easy, he did what she told him and struck but the only thing he could catch was a mouth of water, Saneira was crying with laughter all day and Dragoune just wanted to forget it.

After they had a good amount of fish, Dragoune saw that Saneira wanted to catch one more and then he got an idea. He acted like he was trying to catch a fish, and inch by inch he got closer to Saneira. He saw that she was tracking one so it was now or never. Just before she struck he jumped into the water splashing her in the process. The water was cool but not too much so. When he resurfaced he still saw the shock on her face and laughed hysterically.

"You think it is funny?" Saneira smiling, Dragoune nodded his head still laughing.

"Well we just see about that!" Saneira standing up and jumping in as well trying to get back at Dragoune but failed because he went under. They played in the water for about an hour and that is when they started to smell the fish.

"Come on lest cook the fish before we get unwanted quests." said Saneira, they got out, built a fire, and then let the sun dry them off while the fish were cooking. When they were done they blew them off so they would cool down. At first Dragoune was about to eat his but then got another idea and put it up to Saneira's mouth. At first Saneira was confused but then suddenly knew what he was doing and started biting into it, doing the same as Dragoune. While they fed each other their eyes never left each other, each one greatly enjoying each other's company. After the food Dragoune laid on his back while Saneira laid on top of him never letting her eyes leave his. Both Dragoune and Saneira felt their hearts beat as one making them happier that they were mates and soon to be parents. Dragoune lift his head to have his muzzle meet hers and kissing her on the lips, they stayed like that for a while and never want it to end, but it was not meant to be.

"Oh how touching, a young dragon and his mate loving each other.....it makes me sick!" said a voice

"Who's out there!?! Show yourself!" Dragoune yelled getting up.

"You know me Dragoune I was in your dreams." Said the voice.

"Kaous..." Dragoune said quietly looking for any sign of him.

"Show yourself!!" Dragoune yelled again.

"As you wish." Kaous said, suddenly black mass started to gather in one spot in front of them. It took the shape of a four legged dragon but it was only the size of a dog.

"Pity I thought you would always be taller." Dragoune taunting him.

"Do not underestimate me or it will be the last thing you will do." Kaous said smirking and glaring at Dragoune with those pupil less blood red eyes.

"Not if I get you first." Dragoune said coming at him with his teeth and claws, but going right through him.

"I am sorry but mere claws, teeth, or any kind of weapon cannot hurt me." Kaous said changing into a crow hovering above Saneira.

"Then what do you want." Dragoune said chewing his words as he spoke them.

"Oh nothing much, just to rule over Marnex and bring destruction and....chaos." Kaous said, Dragoune was about to lunge again, but then stopped because he did not know what he would do to Saneira.

"What if we refuse?" Dragoune said

"You know your eggs?" Kaous said that is when Dragoune completely froze.

'How did he know?' Dragoune thought and after that he thought.

'Does he know of Crosain?'

"Ahh, I see your friend is going to be a parent as well, that is even more interesting." Kaous said

"How did you-?" Dragoune

"Another one of my powers, your feelings betray you when I am near enough to hear." Kaous said, Saneira could not take it any more and blew fire right at him.

"Ouuuucccchhh, You Little... YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS HAVE UNTIL THE EGGS ARE OUT, YOU HAVE A CHOICE TO STAY OR GO. IF YOU CHOOSE TO STAY I WILL CRUSH YOUR EGGS!!!!" Kaous went back to as a dragon and then added.

"You better make sure that it is the right choice." And then disappeared

"Saneira are you okay?" Dragoune said coming up to her, she nodded but was shacking all over.

"Come let's get to the castle and tell everyone the news." Dragoune said getting his things and picking up Saneira. He took off and flew his fastest trying to get far away from that spot as possible.

Wonder what they will do? you will have to see for yourself. Now come on Frost at least this is a 3.9 because I really worked hard on it. but if not then all well. :Z
