The Fox: A Short Poem

Story by Chekhov on SoFurry

, ,

I wrote this out while chatting with my boyfriend late at night while we were apart for some time. He is a fox indeed :3

The Fox

A silent pride he carries,

He runs about careful and gay,

And with his wit he never tarries,

A genius in his own way.

He is a fox and is glad to be.

A silent smile and playful provocation,

All around him benefit he sees,

Easy with effort for much gratification.

A good partner to ask for,

No better mate indeed,

But pay attention, be forewarned,

Lest larking beyond toleration exceed.

So be mindful of his tricks,

Use them yourself for some kicks.
