Staring Pouncer T-6100, AKA The Liquid Silver Panther

A Talonsaurn Story, PG

Contains Light soft vore, Liquid creatures, playfulness, a bit of halloween spookyness

The night was normal, it was all hallows eve of course and that meant normal was rather strange, at least in these parts, kids were trick or treating, vandals were tricking, and people were enjoying the Indian summer weather, the clear sky, and so on.. I myself was walking with a handful of other companions, We were discussing the game, the state of the city, and this and that, soon we began to talk of urban myths... we didn't have time for much though.

The first I saw was a motion, it wasn't as big as it should have been of course, just a flutter of the shadows at the edge of one of the parks huge lampposts that moved the wrong way, to large for a raccoon, I had thought it might be a stray at first, but only at first.

That motion was moments before the creature moved from the shadows, leaping, charging, pouncing, its shape was hard to make out, its size was large, its body, that was the most impressive, from the initial seconds of observation it was dark, smooth, light absorbing, blotting out the park lamps, but in mid bound it shifted to a gleaming, almost blindingly reflective body, silver polished mirror, the lights from the lamps reflected in a glorious array of illumination that sent me onto my rear and my companions screaming and scattering before it landed..

It landed with a thud that shook the ground, a half a foot before me the great shape took form, even in the blinding reflection it looked minimalistic, a feline sitting, at its place of impact small splatters of darker molten silver glistened..rolling slowly back to what I could only call paws. .. but I couldn't look for more than moment more before my eyes burned, I shielded them with my forearm on instinct but that was all. It made hardly a sound.

The next few moments I was waiting for an attack.. for something to happen.. I braced myself and waited... when no assault was coming..and my eyes felt a bit better I squinted past my forearm to stare at what was before me. It too had waited.. it's brilliant reflection had faded.. returning to some semigloss state. It was feline, it was some sort of metal, smooth and curvy with each movement, it didn't breath, or didn't need to... only seeming to remember when its mind wasn't already occupied... I could see this quite well because during my visual trial its head had been lowered to face me, the heavy head blocked my view of the rest of the marvelous creature... but I could make out a size at last.. at least from quick estimates it was around six feet high and probably at least twice as long as that, but sitting up in this position he would have dwarfed me even if I had been on my feet..

Its features were striking, the way the light played of them revealed the enormous felines panther shape was superbly molded to the very pinnacle of what one would think a panther should be, large haunches , powerful muscles shimmering under the chrome coating, and heavy paws having left a indistinct paw print in the ground a few feet before me.

Its eyes were green, a glowing unearthly jade green that vanished soon after, the eyes closing as he reared his head and let out a roar. It was not especially loud but it seemed to send a tremor through my whole body. The vibration set its own body trembling a moment , a splatter of substance from its body poured down one paw to pool at its foot.. only to slither back quickly after to join the feline before me. It moved its head down again.. staring at me with a look. As words failed to come I finally noticed the tail.. it moved, it swayed like a metal serpent.. but unlike the rest of the felines perfection it kept hitting the ground hard, splattering and reforming moments later, as though its excited waving was not the slightest under control. Its massive head opened, showing off a toothless maw, and a darkness within.. If it was human I would have said it was giving me a smile.. the maws darker areas soon formed a tongue and before I could react the molten silver slurped me..

I was surprised, I was shocked..the sensation wasn't wet at all it was dry, smooth, and somewhat cool, rather pleasant when I thought about it more, I stared up at the face and tried to sounds calm "Hi there" I said, and gently moved to pat him on the head.. making my intentions blatant so as to gauge his reaction.. his eyes closed and he seem to lean into my touch.. a slight shiver went up my spine on contact with the smooth cranium of this quicksilver creation . It lifted its head and opened its green eyes again, giving me a place to focus my attention, as its face shifted into what I could best call a quizzical expression.. inspecting me... it slowly lifted one paw, leaving a slight rain of small droplets in its place before it gave the paw a shake and sent more splattering.. the raised paw stretched to the side and wrapped itself around the nearest lamppost.. liquid slithering down the base a bit as it creaked and bent at the felines touch, bending slowly to provide better light on me,spotlighting me to the panthers careful perusal.

Still speechless I watched as the silvery panther cocked its head then leaned up against the lamppost, almost flowing up it, pulling itself atop of the glistening glowing ball, putting both of its for legged crossed on it, apparently leaning on it. Almost perched on the delicate bulb with tremendous weight. It took a few good seconds for me to realize the entire creature had wrapped itself around the pole, engulfing it and leaving just the glowing top , its own mass supporting itself while it rested on the globular light, reflecting the silver like an oversized disco ball..or perhaps its own way of making a crystal ball The panthers form initially just formless around the lamp post soon crafted itself into the fine feline shape again, merging with the bronze of the lampost for the moment.. If it was an intelligent and sentient creature I could swear it was trying to show off ..

"So you can both bend the steel....and perch atop of it.. .that shows mighty fine control of whatever you are." I managed to say.. The creature responded with a nod and that same toothless smile again. It assumed a full panther form atop the lamppost, balanced with unearthly grace atop with all four paws around it.. fingers and toes just barely on the steel housing..perched, its tail curled around the post.. blotting out the light and reflecting it this way and that as the creature shifted weight, creating a searchlight that surveyed the park, illuminating the still fleeing companions...or at least there backsides... He turned to me with another grin, bunched his haunches up and lept, the leap was perhaps the strangest yet,the body itself really didn't move this time, it flowed like a stream into the air glistening in the moonlight before slamming wetly into another lamppost a bit further off, the arcing river of mass soon moving from one post to the other without a sound... but the searchlight effect certainly had got its audience. They to were staring at the strange creature.. slowly backing up at the same time... then freezing.. When the panther turned its head to look back at me, we both heard a scurrying, the metallic head shifted and looked... they had ran into the detached restrooms. The silvery head just stared, then looked back at me with an expression of utter disregard.."Are people that stupid" the eyes and nose seemed to say.. but the expression didn't leave me this time.. it was interested, it was curious. It pounced again..this time as a full panther shape, landing on a nearby bench with enough force to splitter and shatter it,sending shards of metal and wood scattering, leaving him sitting smugly in the remains, head held high tail waving.

He let out a roar, it made the whole body tremble as it sat, I slowly stood, trying to smile watching the slow molten tides under the smooth exterior, playing in the shadows of moonlight, He put a forpaw forward, showing me its palm a moment, letting silver dribble down in a small rain, slowly pooling, spreading out from the dribbling impact in a large slow circle. Thick and viscous the molten metal spread quicker and quicker, shimmer and shifting, I was mesmerized a few moments before I backed up a bit; only to find myself surrounded.. His smile remained as he shook the missing wrist to recreate his silvery paw from the mass of his body again...almost as if waiting to see what I would do with the silvery ring around me I took a step back, my heal pressing at the circle of liquid panther only a moment to hear the sizzle of the rubberized soul... This little game had gotten far more scary.. Staring left and right I realized I was traped within a thick ring of bubbling metal... I might be able to leap out.. or might not.. I stared back at him, Speechless as the feline sat on his haunches a dozen or so feet away, it then leaned forward crouching down, bringing his face to mine, jade eyes glimmering yet again.. his haunches shook, his tail waved slow..and he smiled

"Easy there" I said nervously..And then he pounced, his form rising into the air, blocking out the light a few moments before it reflected brilliantly from his fully reflective form.. my scream started deep in my lungs as I felt him move almost in slow motion, paws outstretched as the huge mass dove at me, tons of steaming metal ready to crush me in an instant..The the fine smooth cuved feline stretched fully from paws to tail, I was the mouse.I realized it as my instincts braced for impact..

My scream was silenced, I didn't die though, I wasn't crushed and smooshed by the tons of weight, no the moment of blackness turned into a silvery daze, a warmth engulfed my whole body as though I Had suddenly be shoved into a pool of water, breathless I struggled to find what way was up, tumbling and whirling thrashing to find something to move against, The more I struggled the more I felt helpless, suspended in the mass, the quicksilver monster all around me shifting himself just to keep me drowning inside him.. at the time I hardly realized that inside was quite warm despite his chilly surface.. each time I struggled to not breath it became harder.. I felt myself nearing blackout, but swallowing seemed suicidal inside this strange creation. I tumbled and sprawled, feeling the heat rise all around me, forcing me to sweat, then cover my mouth.. struggling not to open up, my flesh tingly with dribbling metal as I shifted and surged inside the waves of liquid panther I couldn't hold it any longer, I swallowed.. And felt the tide surge around me pushing me up faster and faster, and then with a mighty shove the waves inside the strange panther pressed me out, through the outstretched silvery "Drooling" jaws and between his feet in a shivering drenched pile sputtering warm metallic go from my lips.. only to see it slither back to its owner...

I laughed a bit as I landed on the ground dribbling with the warm metallic goo, wiping it from my face I looked back up at him.. "That was a surprise" I kept wiping myself as clean as I could watching up at his smiling face, looking into the big green eyes.. and couldn't get a scream to my lips as those jaws opened and he pressed them down over me, covering me firmly, no longer the sea of silver, his body was firm.. the jaws closed around my middle lifted me up and swallowed me whole in three large toothless bites, sending me down the enclosed sleek and curvy slide that was now inside him.. It happened so fast I could barely think before I landed inside again..this time with air.. looking up the way I came, it was missing, the whole slide throat had sealed back up, leaving me buried in the creatures gut.

I yelped as I felt out at the sides of my prison, entombed inside him I realized that the stomach cavity was shaped not some simple organic blob, not some random space casually constructed, oh no..it was a exact replica of the inside of a pumpkin candy pail..if it was made of sterling silver, I tried to press out through the eye hole, but the film of translucent silver just didn't give enough... I pounded on the inside again And yelled "I'm not a piece of candy, you can't put me in your candy bucket" but I got no response, I just felt the strange creatures trot, shifting me back and forth...I had no idea what was coming... but it wouldn't be normal, not at all
