Part 9 Magnearous
Dragoune opened his eyes and saw that Saneira was not there. He sat up and closed his eyes searching for her through their connection with each other. He felt that she was in no danger, so he opened his eyes, smiled, and was relieved that she was okay. He had a right to be worried. The day that they were planning a stragety with Rovino and Braxcon, Rovino decided to let Dragoune, Saneira, and Volaxone have their weapons, but Rovino's advisors would not allow it. It took Rovino almost all day just for them to say yes and on top of it Braxcon never came. The next day was no better, when the Vordran saw that Rovino allowed Dragoune, Saneira, and Volaxone thier swords they became outraged. Rovino calmed them down enough so to let them pass without being harmed, that took half the day, and again Braxcon was not there even he was summoned a couple of times. So that was two days wasted and have the king's army that much closer.
'At least that the army is big enough to slow them down.' Dragoune thought, that's when he noticed that Saneira had come with a big tray full of fish.
"I thought that you would like breakfast in bed." she said with a smile.
"But I should do that for you." Dragoune protested
"Well then, the next time you wake up when you are suppose to. Maybe you will be able to do it for me." she said teasingly and made Dragoune laugh. She put the tray by his feet, Dragoune was about to eat, but he heard Saneira's stomach growl and she was on eyeing the fish on the tray. She looked up and saw that Dragoune was looking at her in a concern way.
"Do not worry about me you go ahead and eat." she said blushing a bit. But Dragoune was not going to have a bite until she was satisfied herself. So he took the fish and brought it above her head. She followed it and was looking at the ceiling, that confirmed that she was hungry. Dragoune let go of the fish and Saneira snapped it up whole. Dragoune again took another fish but this time he just brought it up to her mouth and again she ate it. Dragoune was enjoying himself feeding his mate and she was too. When the tray was half full Dragoune was about to give Saneira another, but she put a paw up to her muzle indicating that she was full. Dragoune shrugged and ate the fish, he was about to take another but Saneira grapped a fish first and fed him. Both times they fed each other, they looked into each others eyes lovingly. When the tray was empty Saneira came up close to Dragoune and rubbed muzzles.
"I love you." Saneria said still rubbing
"And I love you." Dragoune said, they never wanted this to end but time was against them.
"I think we should get going." Dragoune said saddenly, and Saneira got up reluctantly. They got ready and headed out the door. Saneira came up close to him while they were walking. She wrapped her around him, while he wrapped a wing around her and intwined his tail with hers. Dragoune and Saneira passed a few furries and both noticed that they still did not trust them one little bit, and Saneira saw that Dragoune was getting agitated by it.
"Calm down they do not need another reason not to trust us." she said
"I know but at least by now they should see that we are not going to attack them." he said, Saneira squeezed him a bit.
"Do not worry when we fight the king's army they will see we mean them no harm." Saneira said, Dragoune kissed her on the lips.
"Thanks I needed that." he said. They finally got to Rovino's room, they disentangle themselves, but Saneira kept her paw in Dragoune's. They saw that everyone was here including Braxcon, but instead of being in the middle of the room like everyone else. Braxcon was in the darkest corner of the room.
"We were about to summon you." Volaxone said with a smile
"Braxcon, why don't you join us?" called Dragoune
"I am more comfortable over here and you do not need to shout I cane here you clearly." Braxcon said. Dragoune noticed that Braxcon raised his voice just a little bit so he can hear him. That's when Dragoune realized that he would not want to get hit by one of his screech attacks.
"So what's the plan?" Saneira asked
"Well we I already had a couple of furries block the entrances that we do not want the enemy to go through. We are already moving the gold and the rest of the weapons closer to the escape route, so that when we need to flee we just grab it and go. Although the gold is taking longer than I expect and I fear we do not have much time. As for the furries who aren't fighting, they are almost ready to go and should be done by tonight. Now as for the stragety, all I have is that Braxcon and his bats fly around dropping boulders or screeching at the enemy." Rovino said
"Well like Dragoune said that the enemy gryphons will want to take advantage of that opened area, so we need to find a way to protect the bats. As for ground troops, do you have anything that we can use to slow them down?" asked Volaxone
"Yes we are actually have big logs that we are sharping and postioning them close to the entrance of the area, but that it is all."
"That will do, at least it will slow them down considerably." Volaxone said
"I too will help protect the bats" Dragoune said, Saneira looked at Dragoune sadden and it hurt him to see her that way.
"I guess that it is settled then. Braxcon you may leave, Volaxone go and tell all of my top guards all you know about Baxon. Dragoune follow me." Rovino said
"I'm comming too!" Saneira said, Rovino was about to protest but thought better of it. The three of them plus a guard was going up the volcano. Saneira had their tails intwined ocasinally kissing each other or looking each others eyes. They reached their destination which there were a set of two doors. Rovino opened them and all of them went inside, Dragoune and Saneira saw that this place was for the gryphons. One of them spotted them and came to them. She had a brown body with tan head, she talked to Rovino for a bit and then took off. She did not take long to come back with another one this one was a head taller then her and he had a gray body with a white head, but he still had those sharp yellow eyes.
"Magnerous this is Dragoune and Saneira we are here to talk to you." Rovino said with a small bow. Dragoune knew why because gryphons are proud creatures and if you don't bow a little while greeting them they consider it a insult, and it maybe the last mistake you would ever made. Dragoune and Saneira also bowed a little.
"I see that you met my mate Vanearlia." Magnearous said indicating the female gryphon. Then he looked Dragoune in the eye.
"I heard from Volaxone that you tried to repent from what you have done in the past. I cannot ignore it, but you will be happy to know that you will have our help when you need it." he said. A few gryphons that were near by sqwacked in protest but were silenced by Magnerous's look.
"Thank you, I will be flying with you against the enemy gryphons." Dragoune said
"You may go now while I will relay the information to Magnearous." said Rovino, Dragoune nodded and Saneira and him bowed to Magnearous. When Dragoune and Saneira came out, Dragoune noticed a ledge he could jump off and fly down. He showed it to Saneira.
"Want to have some fun?" he asked, she looked up at him and smiled and that's all that he needed. They came to the ledged holding each other and when Dragoune lifted off Saneira wrapped her legs around him and intwined her tail with his. They nuzzled and kissed all the way down enjoying every second of it. But when they landed Saneira looked to the ground sadden and Dragoune knew why. He put his paw under her chin and lifted it up so that her eyes met his.
"You know that I love you, I will protect you, and make sure that you are safe." he said Saneira smiled and gave him a big kiss. They came back to the room to tired to do much of anything but were content to cuddle up in bed. Saneria was again on his chest and he was on his back.
"Good night my black knight." Saneira said
"Good night my beautiful dragoness." Dragoune said they looked into each others eyes until sleep over took them.

Sorry about the no yiff scene because that was a perfect time but I was pressed for time
