Dearest Husky: Chapter 3
#3 of Dearest Husky
We find the small husky, Spike, staring at the two who had just finished their little ritual with each other. He could find nothing to say, nothing other than. "What... the hell do you think you are doing?" He blinked lightly and tilted his head. He sounded... irritated... like a secret was just told to him that was being held out on him for years.
"Nothing... I... I swear... I just..." Fred mumbled stupidly as he tried to explain something he couldn't.
"I was being affectionate for once in my life...." Kiam mumbled.
"What the hell do you mean affectionate... by blowing Fred!" Spike roared as he shook his head. He lifted a palm to his head and murmured, "You could have told me you were gay... you didn't have to hide it this whole time...."
"I'm not gay!" Fred yelped as he let Kiam buttoning up his pants and covering his privates.
Kiam blinked looking to Fred as he heard this, it hurt to hear. It was like... everything that just happened was for nothing. Lowering his head he would nod and murmur, "Neither am I... I guess..."
Spike would look at the two before shaking his head and murmuring, "You two... how long have you been hiding this relation from me?"
Fred and Kiam looked up at Spike, they could see a sadness from him.. soon Fred would mumble, "We haven't been hiding it... it just happened... tonight. Actually to be honest... I was just trying to help out Kiam..."
"Help Kiam! How!?" Spike growled crossing his arms over his chest, he didn't want to get any closer to them... in fact... he wanted to leave.. but where could he go other then his room... leaving the house could mean death... and sure... he was mad... but not mad enough to die.
"I wanted to know what it was like to be loved... okay... no one was showing me love.. I never knew what it was like... and Fred showed me... so.. I thought it would be okay to show love back..." Kiam spoke softly but didn't find the courage in his heart to turn back to Spike.
Fred blinked and looked to Kiam with a soft stare before blushing and lowering his head looking away from the two of them trying to hide his eyes from Spike. He felt horrible, he wasn't showing love at all... he was just trying to help... but now... how could he tell Kiam this, and not hurt him.
Spike frowned and turned away, "You two go ahead and get back to your... whatever you want to call it... I'm going to the bathroom and then going to sleep for the night..." turning away from them, Spike would walk into the bathroom slamming the door shut behind him.
Fred looked to Kiam before looking away and slowly pushing himself up onto his feet as he would say, "I'm.. gonna go to bed... okay... maybe... this will pass over in the morning..." nodding to Kiam he would turn away and walk past him slowly trying not to make eye contact.
Kiam nods and stands up as Fred moves over to his room... he walked up to the couch wiping his lips with his hand as he sat down them curled up rolling onto his side laying his head on the arm of the couch after sighing to himself facing the fire he would stare at it for a few moments before slowly shaking his head and standing up walking into the kitchen grabbing a bucket and filling it with water as he walked over to the fireplace pouring it on the fire as it puffed itself out into a explosion of steam. Holding the bucket in hand he would lower his head and wonder to himself about all that's happened.
Spike would stand in the bathroom before walking to the toilet lifting up the seat and unbuttoning his pants... he sighed. He didn't have to go anymore... it felt odd to him... being in a house with gay men... he never thought of it before. Maybe he was a homophobe. Shaking his head as his pants fell to his ankles he just stared into the toilet in thought as he would wonder about the two men in the house that were completely different from him. "Why didn't they tell me?" He murmured to himself as he would look up at the ceiling.
The warm looking bathroom lit by a candle flickering lightly shining in the husky's shiny silver eyes. With a light smile that would cross the husky's lips. Pearly whites flashing as the words would slowly slip from his lips softly leaning down to pick up his pants, "I knew... something was going on..." chuckling as he lifted his pants up and slowly buttoned them zipping up his fly, and to make it look like he used the bathroom he would flash the toilet so the other's, if still outside, would hear and not suspect anything. Turning away he walked over to the mirror looking himself eye to eye before moving and placing a soft hand to it letting his furred fingers slide down the glass for a few moments till they eventually slipped completely off and fell softly onto the sink below. The husky daydreamed in his own gaze before shaking his head and snorting, "Yeah right Spikey boy, you can't stay mad at your best friend... " Reaching for the door knob and chuckling as he would turn it opening to see Kiam standing in front of the door with sad eyes looking at him.
"You... think I'm gay... and... you hate me for that don't you?" Kiam mumbled looking down slowly as he wrapped his thin arms around himself bending his leg and kicking his foot behind his heel as he looked back up slowly at Spike.
Spike stood silent for a moment before moving a hand up to set it softly onto Kiam's shoulder rubbing his shoulder lightly before saying softly, "Coon... my dear friend... I... well... I can't say I don't think your gay... I just caught you... you! Giving Fred a blow job..." he paused and chuckled before walking up to him and giving a him a hug patting him softly on the back saying, "Kiam.. I don't hate you though... I really don't... I could never hate my best friend..." smiling he backed away and rested his hands softly on Kiam's shoulders before whispering to him, "Fred though... I lost a lot of respect for him today... I don't know how tomorrow is gonna be... though... my advice is you just get some rest... you'll need it for tomorrow..."
Kiam looked up at Spike and frowned, "Spike... I know you... you don't react like that over... little things... what's going on in that head of your's?" walking up to his friend as he looked him eye to eye frowning sadly, his soft stare almost teary eyed.
The short husky, only a little taller than the raccoon before him would respond with a short smile saying as he lowered his head bringing his long black hair over his eyes as he said in a soft murmur, "Kiam... I'm upset... I won't lie about that... but not at you... I'm upset with Fredric... he should not have let you do that... it's degrading... especially for you... I mean... think about it... your men... it's not right..." Spike turned his head away slowly hiding his face as he continued, "Even if you were a woman I would say that... we've been friends to long to do that sort of thing with each other... I mean... we are just friends... and from what I know from experience... things like this ruin everything between friends..."
"It won't ruin anything!" Kiam blurted out with a frown pasted on his face looking up into Spike's face, "So what if I did this... so what if he let me... what if we are gay? You have something against it!?"
Spike's eyes widened and he turned looking to the male before him only to clear his throat, he never saw this side of the coon, in a way it frightened him, "You're... gay?" Spike frowned hearing this... but, stupidly his mind only projected this part of what was said to him just than. That maybe they were gay? "I'm sorry... I.... I can't be here..." he pushed the raccoon out of the way and stomped off over to his room pulling the door open and slamming it shut behind him.
Kiam stumbled back and turned to Spike opening his mouth to say something just as the door slammed he would frown and wrap his arms around himself feeling his eyes begin to drip tears. With a sigh he would say, "And to think... I called you a friend...." Turning away he walked over to the couch sitting down and looking at the fire for a few hours before he curled into a ball and shut his eyes tight sobbing himself to sleep. He didn't think Spike would think this way about such relations, he always joked about gay relations, in a good why like he was gay something, but... now he is stomping around like... the world just ended. Kiam slowly feel asleep in a sad slumber on the couch with wet cheeks from his tears.
Hours passed, morning came. Kiam lay with his head softly rested on the arm of the couch, with a light sigh in his sleep he felt a hand press at his shoulder giving him a light shake as the words.
"Kiki... wake up... it's important...."
But Kiam only ruffled alittle and nuzzled back into the arm of the couch before the voice raised alittle saying.
"Damn... Kiam! Get up... please..."
Kiam frowned and opened his eyes his dream of last night blurring away as he mumbled softly in a raspy voice, "What...."
Looking over the raccoon from the back of the couch was Fred, the tall dragon that he had... 'fun' with last night. Though Fred didn't look so happy to have woken Kiam, with a frown he would stare at Kiam with sad eyes.
Kiam looked up at Fred and frowned before saying, "What's wrong?"
Fred looked down at Kiam with soft eyes before turning away and saying, "It's Spike..... He's gone...."
