Something short and sweet. Might write more of it and of this dragon-with-no-name's adventure!

The chilly air aroung me was blowing hard. The trees were just the iceing for conditions to not fly with this kind of wind, so I stayed on the ground. Looking around for a field in this enchanted forest, being a lone, as usual, made it kinda eriee.. I wanted to escape, but I stayed calm about it. So then finally i found a location where it looked like it was promising. It also began to feel warmer the closer I got to it. Then, finally, when my eyes adjusted to the light, I saw the most vast desert in my whole entire 378 years of living. It looked amazing! As I stepped paw onto the warm ground below, I noticed I wasn't touching it. Instead I hit air, thinking I hit the ground. I lost my balance as I fell off of this large cliff, but then caught myself in the air as I opened my wings and guided myself back up. For some reason, the air was still here. Hot, dry; my favorite conditions.

I flew around near the ground, looking for water, but this desert was large and dry, void of any kind of water source. With Cacti and brush seen for miles, I thought to myself, _Will I actually make it out of here? _Then suddenly, to make matters worse, I heard the sound of a miniuture cannon going off. Then a buzziung noice past my wing as I look around. I look down and see two anthro wolves wearing cowboy outfits and chasing me on horses, aiming their weapons towards me. One was shouting, in a Western accent, "Get 'em boys! He will make fine boots and belts to sell! YEE HAW!"

I look a bit dumbfounded, confused, and yet amused at this little show of what they were wearing and what they were saying. What kind of trick is this?

Then they took out rifles, and aimed down the sights at me. One wolf wasn't paying attention and he and his horse hit a Cactis extreamly hard, knocking them both either dead or unconsious. I didn't care, one less idiot to worry about. I did like the fact of how he pronounced his "Ouches" with "OOWWWWWwwww"'s.The other wolf stopped and looked at his friend as I turned around, seeing my chance as I get closer to him. Then, without roaring, I pick him up with my rear claws and chold him by the arms. His hat flew off as he kicked his little legs around, trying to get free. He was doomed anyways. Then I flew higher, and higher, to where I could see nothing but desert for miles. Then, I let go of the little wolf as he fell down, howling and yelling in fright. I stopped for a second, in mid air as I look at him fall, then I realized,_ I haven't ate...._ i then take off, bolting down, diving as I gain speed to his spinning body as I open my maw to catch him in it, but I waited for too long... he was already about to splatter onto the ground. I closed my maw, and then stopped myself from hitting the ground extreamly hard as I watched my prey splatter onto the dusty ground, hearing the thud and seeing the dust. I sighed and then looked around for his other friend. Using my natural ability to use thermal vision, I spotted his more hot body with the rest of the hot, dry land. I fly over to him, still moving, but hurt badly as he bled there, groaning in pain.

"Oh Jesus Christ... the pain!" He yelled out, holding his belly as he tried to stop the bleeding. I land, just feet away from him and stare, growling deeply. Then he turnes around, feeling the ground shake benieth him form my hard landing as he yells, scared and frightened, "S-s-stay away! I-I'm warnin yew! ..."

His face, was my pleasure in seeing his final moments alive. I roar out, letting him know that this is his final moments alive.

"S-STAY BACK!!" He reached for his revolver, but it wasn't in his holster. He then freaked out more as he crawled backwards, in pain, still holding his belly. He coughed up blood, looking away for a moment. "Oh Dear Lord!"

I growl, laughing in my mind at this folly. Then, I stand above him, looking down into his eyes, growling more. His time was up. And he knew it. I then spoke in my deep, draconic voice, "You should of thought twice before shooting me out of the sky. And now, here you lay, before me, bleeding out like the soft skin you are..." I get my head closer to him, sniffing him.

He then yelped suddenly, feeling my nose on his painful wound as it hurt him extreamly bad. "P-please don't kill me!" He started to cry, and whimper before me, in a painful tone.

So, I senced his pain and looked at his wounds. He wasn't going to make it even if I left him alone. His organs were bleeding inside as I noticed a few large Cactis needles within him, deep within him. I lay offof his body, and look at him with a deep growl, bareing my teeth to him, "You won't make it even if I did leave you out here, filth."

He whimpered more, and then said, "But-but how do you know that? How..." He yelped in pain as one of the needles went deeper into him.

"I can see things most others cannot see. And your fate will be here, in this desert." I get my muzzle up to his as I breathe hard on him through my nostrels. He knew it was his time, but at the same time he denied it.

"No!" He shook his head. He knew what was coming to him.

Then finally, I open my maw, and then grab him swiftly, swing my head from side-to-side, tilt my head back, then swallow. After that little ordeal was finished, I look around for a possible location for water. I lick my lips, that were dry from the hot location as I take a run then fly off into the air.

The sun was setting, and the moon was rising as I flew for miles, getting tired. I pant to try to keep my body cool as I look around still. Then a thought dawned on me, _Why didn't I try to get it out of that snack about the closest place for water? I could of betted his life for it if he told me... _I growl deeply at the thought of how careless I was. I let my more feral side get to me. Then, I realizeed I was started to get too tired to fly anymore, so I had to land somewhere. I look down and see a clear location of what looked like a dry lake bed. as I get closer to it I realize, it wasn't dirt, but water! I Crash land into it, then swim around as I murr slightly with my head out of the water. I then take a drink, cherishing every second of it, every taste, every swallow. As I swam, I came back up to the shore. I shook off the water from the tip of my muzzle to the tip of my tail as I looked around for a possible place to sleep, but close to the water. Then, I chose a spot, and layed down, thinking hard of what to do for the next day. How I was going to survive and what might be coming my way as I sleep. My mind wasn't tired, but my body was, so I layed my head on my paws, closed my eyes slowly, and passed out on the spot.

The wind was blowing hard again, as I opened my eyes and looked around slightly, seeing the hot sun bearing down it's hot beams of light on my reflective scales. I then had this feeling of being watched as I quickly perked my head up real fast and growled deeply. Knew, even from last night, this wasn't over with the cowboys....
