Falling into me: It begins

Sun broke through the clouds as the final bell rang. School was out for the summer break and the recent juniors were anxious. All except Rein that is. The teen never did anything during the summer but play his video games, and he did that throughout the school year, so it didn't matter if he could play all day. He would just get bored faster. Then, a thought crossed his mind. The new Virtual game had come out and he was getting it soon! That radio contest helped him out, he got the winning ticket and he was going to get it for free! This got him excited for summer, especially since it was an RPG. It gave the player total control of the story, and this could keep him occupied for the whole summer. Rein had been waiting for this since he read about it in his gaming magazine two years ago. He seemed to be the only one to know about it though, and his friends were into the same games as he was. Maybe they just weren't into the idea of playing as an anthro character, who knows? All he knew is that he was going to go home, and enjoy playing that game!

Later that night, Rein heard a knock on his apartment door, so he went to answer it. His parents had left him to live on his own during the middle of the year after they disowned him for his choice in a lover, but that was over now and he was glad they did what they did. He went to his door and opened it, and saw a large box sitting on his 'welcome' mat. "It's here! Perfect way to start out the summer break." He swooped it up and looked around for someone who had deliverd his package, but saw no one. He just shrugged it off and slammed the door as he went back inside. He moved to his room and set the box on his bed. After a few minutes of struggling to open it, he held the game case in his hands. 'A Darkness Rises' is what it read in a medieval style of text. Rein rushed to his television at the foot of his bed and pulled the Virtual Reality gear out, and put the visor, gloves, and body suit on. This gaming had kept him fit, so he was well toned, least to say. After he was situated, the disk was put into into the drive of the console and he hit the power button. Suddenly, he felt a rush as he was swept from his feet, and saw the menu through the visor. Rein moved his hand to the 'create character' button and pushed into the air. After a few minutes of customizing, he stared at his handy work. He saw a rather cute raccoon anthro, and smiled. He was dressed in a blue vest with no shirt, and a pair of tan pants. "Great! Now let's get to playing." As he moved his hand to the start button, he felt a rush of air push against him and he blacked out.

  • * * Rein awoke with a gasp as he looked up to the clear blue sky. "The... sky?" He bolted up right and let out a loud scream. Where was he? what happened to his game? How did he get out of his house?! Maybe the graphics were really that good. He raised his hand to touch his face, but his hand rammed into his chin. "Wh-what? My face is all messed up!" His hand raised back to his chin and he felt around. "A muzzle? When did I get a muzzle?" He asked himself, feeling around his snout, crossing his eyes to look at it. He could see it now, being covered with gray fur. Then a sudden realization hit him and his hand flew back to his butt, or what was now his new, furry tail. Rein screamed again at the top of his lungs. After his fit of angry confusion went by, he looked around to his surroundings. He was standing at the foot of a hill, just near a forest. He stumbled around for a bit, then decided to go to the top of the hill to see where he was. When he reached the crest, he was looking out over a small feild. There wasn't much else besides what looked like a wall. 'Maybe that's a town, and I got really lucky.' He thought to himself as he made his way back down the other side of the hill. After some time of walking, he could feel something weird moving behind him. He swung his hand back and grabbed it, only to bring his tail in front of him. 'It will take some time getting used to that tail swaying.' He thought, continuing his walk towards the city. A while after that, he could feel the pressure of his bladder. Rein ran over behind a hill and un zipped his pants. "What the hell!" He shouted as he looked down, not to his normal body, but to the sheath that was there in it's place. "M-my... this is... weird." Maybe this wasn't the game, it was only rated Teen. He couldn't help himself, so he reached down and stroked the top of it. A wave of pleasure rushed up his spine. He thought back to all the anthro stories he had read on the internet. This is exactly like things had been in them. Rein hurried to relieve himself in the grass, then zipped himself back up. The town was were he needed to go, and he didn't have time to waste. He turned to the top of the hill and walked up to the top. After seeing which direction the wall he had seen before, he started out running towards it. As he took off running, the figure that had been watching him from the trees backed away and headed in the same direction, to the city of Purmerend.
