Author(s) Note: Thought this up out of boredom one fine day. Thought I'd type it up and share it since I found it to be relative to most people's lives or situations we deal with from time to time. Not sure if i should move this to Journals instead of Story's.

The burdens we take upon ourselves, willingly or not, bend and twist what desires we have out. These tasks, jobs, roles, whatever they are called, are placed on each of us without reasonable cause. Hate, anger, entertainment, laziness, are but some ill motive used by our loader to place their misfortunes or responsibilities instead on us.

Trained animals, that's what they want us to be. Lifting and carrying their loads as they watch on with glee. When one of us misbehaves or straight out rejects their work it often leads to scolding followed by punishment and even more work. Eventually, our spirits break and we accept our newly obtained fate, so gracefully chosen by another. And by that acceptance we continue to dig ourselves deeper in our now shattered ground we might have once called something proud.

Yet....

If one could take this thrust of hate, those burdens, the extra weight that's not theirs. One could indeed refasten those loads to build upon either their loaders (enemies) fears or one's own strengths in revolt to justice ones cause. Perhaps find our treasured meaning(s) again, and renew our inner selves to hold onto once more in content and ambition.

However at this point we ourselves become the loaders and some other becomes a carrier to the ceaseless flow of time. Forever the cycle repeats, and forever more we will die.
