Moving in (pt. 1)
To understand this story, you might want to read the prequel of this story "Mike and Deyna" in the M/M section. This story does not contain sex or anything remotely sexual, but still contains some language not suitable for some people, like Catholics, Jewish mothers, and anti-rap people. =^_^= I'm only kidding about the Jewish mother part. Enjoy!
Deyna awoke to the sound of chirping birds. At first he didn't recognize his surroundings but when he saw Mike sleeping silently next to him he remembered. He smiled as he remembered the details. The good details. He stroked Mike's fur and started when Mike grunted. He smiled and traced his mask with a claw. Mike giggled and opened his eyes. "Well good morning Deyna." He said and reached an arm out to scratch his ear. He pulled himself into a sitting position and rubbed sleep from his eyes.
"What time is it?" he groaned and turned to look at his clock. "EEP! It's ten o'clock? Crap we're gonna be late for classes." He shot out of bed and ran to get his pants and a shirt. Meanwhile Deyna merely sat in the bed and giggled softly to himself. "What's so funny D.?" Mike asked as he pulled a shirt over his slender body. Deyna smiled and twitched his whiskers. "It's Saturday, we don't have any scheduled classes today." Mike looked at him and scowled. "When were you going to tell me this?" "Right as soon as you found out that you forgot to put on underwear." With this Mike looked down and pulled the waistband of his jeans. He looked in and said, "Well I'll be a monkey's uncle, so I did."
He turned to reach into his dresser. "Hey why bother getting dressed?" Deyna asked. He ducked as a pair of briefs flew at his head. "Because you and me are going to move your stuff into this room." Mike said as he peeled his jeans off. Deyna froze. "You want me to move into your room?" Mike pulled on pair of boxers and smiled. "Of course I do, you silly otter. If we're going to be lovers, then we're going to need all of your stuff in here. Because you are going to be sleeping with me everynight from now on." "Deyna T. Raker. Hmmm, not much of a ring to it." Deyna mumbled. He ducked again as a T-shirt flew at his face.
A few hours later, Deyna was sitting on the sofa with Mike's head resting on his lap. He flipped through the martial arts magazine in his paws. Mike snored softly as he dozed. Deyna hit a button on the remote at his side, and music started up. Deyna patted Mike's head. "Mike?" he whispered. Mike snorted and opened his eyes. "Yes?" "Do you mind if i get up? I want to practice." Mike lifted his head and let Deyna out. Deyna slid out and jumped onto the windowsill. He looked out at the skyline. Then he looked down at the five story drop. Not that he intended to fall to his death, but it was still a possible risk.
He climbed the fire escape and stepped onto the roof. He looked out at his domain. The roof was a place he considered his own. To his knowledge nobody else ever set paw on it. He pulled of his shirt and took a fighting stance. He closed his eyes and imagined the entire football team was in front of him. All of those bigot bastards. He snarled and yelled. He ran straight and jumped. He twisted his body and kicked high, seeing one linebacker's teeth fly out. He pulled his right paw into a knife-hand strike. He swung his arm and sliced the air. He yelled and snarled as he worked out his frustrations. Seeing red. Seeing anger. Pure, unchained anger. For a good hour he practiced his jiu jitsu, breaking many old doors and bricks leftover from a fireplace. "Holy shit Deyna." Deyna turned and looked at Mike, who was sitting on the edge of the roof. "How long have you been there?" "Long enough to see how angry you really are. Do you want to talk about it?" Deyna picked up his shirt and mopped his face with it. "Not really. I told you all of it. This is just leftover rage." He pulled his arms over his head and stretched. He moaned as his joints popped. "You sure you're okay?" Mike asked getting up. Deyna smiled and did a backwards handspring. "I've never felt so alive, babe." he said as he landed. Mike smiled and backed up to the edge. "Mike, what are you doing?" Deyna said. "I'm going to fly D." Mike said with a grin. He spread his arms, like wings, and jumped over the edge.
"MIKE!!" Deyna yelled as he ran to the edge. Mike was sitting safely on the rail of the fire escape, laughing his striped tail off. "Did you forget that I was on the gymnastics team, Deyna? That I can save myself from just about any fall?" Deyna stared at him. "D.? Are you okay?" "Mike, you scared the crap out of me. Don't do that again." He jumped over the edge and landed next to Mike. "Hey I'm so sorry D. but it was worth the look on your face." Mike copied the face Deyna had made. Deyna slowly smiled. "Did I really look like that?" "You bet. It was priceless. C'mon, let's go inside before I freeze my balls off." "Aww, poor little coon. I'll have to warm you up." "I'm holding you to that, riverdog."
