Hello, Seattle Chapter 1
Well, for me, right now writing anything but clean is out of the question. Darn. But I'll try to keep you guys entertained with regular stories untill I work up enough courage to try XD this is my first story, so sorry if it isn't that good. I plan to do more with this story, so expect more of Kali and Leslie
The rain sprinkled down lightly as a jumbo jet landed at the airport in Seattle, Washington. A thin-shouldered feline looked out the small window, a leaden feeling settling on her heart. The teen furry was so far from her home in New York, New York. It would take quite a time to adjust. She expected the nights would be mercifully quiet, a far cry from what she'd endured in her hometown. The deep voice of the captain boomed over the loudspeakers, suprising her and telling the passengers they could get off the plane. The feline fished overhead, grasping blindly for her bag. Feeling it, she pulled, but it was stuck. Pulling harder, she strained her whole body, feeling her bag come loose. A second too late she realized she'd fall backwards, and fall she did, right into another feline. "Oh, sorry!", she cried, looking up at the larger cat. "It's alright", the large feline insisted, "My name's Kali." The smaller feline blushed a little at Kali's bluntness. "I'm Leslie." Kali smiled broadly, sticking out a paw. "Nice to meet. So what brings you here to Seatle?" Leslie opened her mouth to reply, but was jostled by several angry furries behind her. "Get a move on!", a giraffe exclaimed. Kali grabbed Leslie's bags and helped her off the plane. "Grab the rest of your bags and find me in the food court, and I'll give you the best tour of Seattle a furry could dream of." Leslie nodded as Kali ran off, and let off an uncharacteristic giggle. The furries here were much more friendly than in New York. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad after all.
