It was afternoon and at last, we've made it to the city. I won't say its weird, but perhaps unique in its own way. A Pikachu was clinging onto a girl's shoulder. Why? Its gotta be so uncomfortable for both pokemon and human. A couple of Machokes were carrying boxes for a man, coloured cardboards cut into shapes of differents kinds of pokemons all pasted on a wall, even a Clefairy was wrapped in blue robes.

The roads and walkways are bustling with people, vehicles and pokemons. Gigantic buildings reached up into the sky. "Whoa! This is so cool." Keltorie said gleefully.

"We're not here for sightseeing. We gotta find Team Ater." Garomun said. "Hope we can find them in time." I thought to myself.

"How are we going to get on back on the trail again? This place is so big." Amadea asked.

"Look for any dark type pokemons. See if they have the mark on their body. But lets not attract to much attention." I told them. Then we all started walking in relaxed way. However, people were still staring at us.

"Guys, this isn't working." The Jolteon whispered.

"Follow me, I got an idea." Amadea whispered to us as she quickly walked to the back of a man in a suit strolling on the pavement, as if she was the man's pet. Understanding her idea, we briskly walked up to Amadea's side. Soon, everyone's eyes turned away from us.

"Wow, does this guy even know that we're behind him? He is so oblivious." Garomun whispered to me with a smirk.

"Come on. Stay focus. Any dark pokemon could be Team Ater." I whispered back.

"Guys, uh look at that Poochyena, on the left. He has the mark on his leg." Keltorie Whispered to us.

I looked to the left and there he was. He seemed nervous though, looking in every direction. He made a turn and went into an alley. The Poochyena was being followed by a few Nidorans, males and females.

We all waited outside the alley and i was able to overhear the Poochyena said to those little Nidorans, "So you all want to be like us, the best of the best huh? Oh yeah, we can make you get the power you deserve, way stronger than you are now. You come meet us at our place, you all know where it is and our trainers will make you all become an awesome weapon. You get it? Don't follow me, we'll split up. See ya soon."

Trainers? So the humans were behind Team Ater. This was getting serious, I meant BIG, HUGE!

We heard footsteps coming, leaving the alley. We all hid behind a dumpster and the Nidorans came out of the alley. "We're gonna take anyone down who crosses our way once we're in Team Ater!" Two male Nidornans proudly said to each other and left. I looked inside the alley and the Poochyena was gone.

"C'mon. We gotta follow those two. They'll lead us to Team Ater." Garomun said. And so we did.

We were following the two Pokemons for nearly half an hour. "Where are they going? Its like they're going in circles." Amadea said impatiently.

Then they came to a stop and looked above their heads. We moved away from them and hid behind a pillar. I looked at where they were staring at and there, stood a tall and mighty building, piercing through the sky.

"Once we get into that, our lives are gonna be so much better. C'mon lets go home and return at dusk." One Nidoran said to the other in excitment and they both scampered off.

"We'll wait till night. We would have a better chance of getting in unnoticed. Lets wait behind that short building with the blue roof." I told them.

So while we were waiting for night to come, Amadea came up in front of me, she looked a little sad. "Something wrong?" I kindly asked her. "Nicarun, I'm sorry that i was unfair to you before." She replied.

"Huh? We're done with that already. What, you can't get over with it?" I asked. "Yeah, it may be wierd but its important to me to make this apology again." She said with a little sunken face.

"Hey, c'mon its over already. Now we need to focus on getting our family back." I said and looked straight into her beautiful eyes.

Soon, night arrived. But there was little difference between daytime and night. The street light were shining as bright as day. It appears no one sleeps in the city.

"Guys, they're here." Keltorie said. The bunch of Nidorans gathered at the front of building. The same Poochyena came out of the building, he was being accompanied by a Sandile and a Stunky and they brought them in.

We moved to the back of the building. However, it was surrounded by an electric fence. "Great, now what?" Garomun asked. "Stand aside, let me do this." Keltorie said as she shoved Garomun to the side. She placed her paw on the fence and small sparks were flying around her arm. "Its ok now, lets go." She said as she removed her paw.

We climbed over and i saw a vent cover sitting on the base at the corner of the building. We pulled it off and ventured into the building. We were climbing up through the ventilation system, but it seemed forever.

Soon, i saw another vent cover. I peeped through and saw a small room. There were drawers and files all placed neatly around the room. I kicked the vent off and we all stepped inside the room.

"Look for anything that could be a lead on our parents." Garomun said. While we were searching through, Amadea said to us, "Look at this. Its a list of all kinds of Pokemons."

We all gathered around her as she said, "There's Steelix, Blaziken, Poliwrath, Jolteon, Flareon-"

"Flareon, let me see." I interuppted her, but she told me, "Its just a list Nicarun. It does not mean its your father."

"Hey, notice there is no psychic type pokemons?" Garomun said. "Everyone look at this. The map on the wall." Keltorie said to us, "The forest circled in blue must be our home, cause its south from the city. There's an arrow pointing to North-west of here from our forest. That must be where our parents are." Keltorie said.

Suddenly, i heard footsteps, and it was coming from the ventilation system. Quickly I warned everyone to be ready. "Come out. We know you're there." Garomun snarled. Then a voice came from the vent,"Ah! Please don't kill me. Please!" I was quite suprised and calmly replied," Listen, come out. We're not gonna hurt you. Please, c,mon." A shadow slowly came and out came a Psyduck. However, the second she saw me, she was about to scream. Immeadiately, keltorie closed her beak with her paw. "SHHH" Keltorie hissed. She released her paw from the Psyduck's beak. "What were you doing?" Garomun asked. "You're not one of them?" She asked us. "No, we're not. Guys, lets help her escape." Amadea said. "No, hold on. You've gotta help the rest of us, we were going to leave the holding cells but a Houndour came in to check on us, i was able to slip pass him." the Psyduck pleaded. "Lets go help them, our family could be there." I quickly responded.

The Psyduck brought us deeper into the ventilation system. Soon, we reached the holding cells, containing all kinds of small Pokemons. Ivysaurs, Pichus, Venonats, and a Nidorino. There was a body of Croconaw, badly burnt and bruised. However, our parents were not there. When they all saw me, they started to whimper. "Please everyone, be quiet. I'm not Team Ater. Get outta here, into the vents." I whipered to them. They all frantically squeezed through the hole. "Hey, one at a time." Garomun told them.

Then the worst had happened. The Nidorino climbed into the hole too fast and stabbed a Pichu's leg with his horn. The Pichu screamed in pain, and instantly the sounds of angry shouts, snarls and growls were approaching us. Garomun and i quickly helped Amadea and Keltorie up into the ventilation system. I said to Amadea,"Get everybody out. We'll me-". A large fire came in between us. Garomun and i turned around and saw a woman in her twenties dressed with a black hooded jacket and black jeans, and a Houndour ready to attack. The woman threw a strange ball at my legs. It looked like a Voltorb but had a button on the center. Immeadiately, the ball opened and i was sucked into it.

All of a sudden, i was in a rather peaceful place. There was nothing around me, and i felt sedated. The place looked very comfortable and a perfect place to sleep. My mind soon started to slowly drift away......WAIT A MINUTE! I was supposed to be fighting Team Ater! How the heck did i end up here? Let me outta here!

I felt being sucked away again, and before i knew it i was back in the real world. Garomun was pinned down by the Houndour. I charged up a shadow ball and fired it at him, sending him crashing through the wall. We both fled through the hole the Houndour made and we were in a corridor. I don't know what happened but i learned one thing, those balls are bad news. Drapions, Murkrows and Bisharps had end of the corridor. To our left there was another door, and Garomun barged through it. There was stairs going both up and down. Unfortunately, footsteps were charging in from both outside and downstairs. The only way was up. We raced up the stairs, avoiding the fireballs they threw at us and we reached the roof.

Its insane! I felt i was in outer space being so high up. And there was no where else to escape. The wall behind us collasped and out emerged a gigantic Tyranitar. The only option left for us was to fight. The Tyranitar charged at us but we leapt out of the way. I hit his back with a Faint Attack. He then fell on his back. Garomun jumoed on to his chest, opened his mouth and was about to release a flamethrower right in front of his face. However, the Tyranitar pushed his head into my direction and a massive fire came towards me. I was just in time and jumped out of the way, but then i could not dodge the flareon came crashing into me that the Tyranitar threw. As i was still in a daze, the huge moster grabbed me with both hands. His grip was sa strong, i could not break free. He was about to bite me in half. I quickly used Flash and my golden rings shined brightly, nearly blinding the monster. He then dropped and covered his eyes. As i landed on my feet, Garomun Fire Blasted the Tyranitars face. The Tyranitars roared in anger, and tore a large piece of concrete off the ground. I ran towards the Tyranitar as i charged up another shadow ball, and as he threw the concrete at me, i jumped over the concrete and launched the dark sphere at his face and he fell off his feet. He quickly got up on his feet and he roared at the top of his lungs.

Meanwhile, in Amadea's point of view

We've finally got out of the ventilation system. I really hoped that Nicarun and Garomun will be fine. Keltorie and i helped everyone out and they all fled, probably returning to their homes. "Look! On top of the building. Its them!" Keltorie shouted. I looked up and saw an Umbreon and a Flareon battling a massive Tyranitar. "We've gotta help them!" I said to Keltorie.

"But we'll never get to them in time."

"We need to do something!"

"Like what huh?!"

Then i noticed, if the Tyranitar took a few steps back, he would fall off the building. "Quickly! Shoot a thuderbolt in front of the Tyranitar!" I said to Keltorie. Then, Keltorie fired a thunderbolt and i fired a Psybeam.

Back to Nicarun

As we walked towards the monster preparing the final blow. I heard sparks coming from my left. I turned and a thunderbolt and psybeam came past the Tyranitar's face. He roared in shock as he took some steps back. The Tyranitar started to lose his balance and was about to fall. However, he reached out and grabbed my ear and Garomun's tail. He dragged us off the building!

We were plummeting to our death! We were all screaming as we dived at immense speed! I could the small building with the blue roof, and we were gonna crash into it! I instantly came up with an idea. I grabbed the Tyranitar's face and hit him with a confuse ray. His eyes widened, looking in all direction, arms swinging all around. I screamed at Garomun,"COME HERE!!" I tried to reach him with my arm, but he bit it as if to hold on to me. Ignoring the pain, i pulled him to my side, he let go and we both hold on to the Tyranitar's torso hoping, it would soften our fall. As we were about to crash, I closed my eyes.
