Chapter one - Inalia
Winter
This was my first winter in this new area, its definitely a lot colder then I thought it would be. I've been walking for a long time now; all I want to do is find a nice cozy place to rest for the night. All the areas I' found though have already been occupied. I was starting to get hungry too but there was no food in sight.
"I'm not sure how much farther I can g, its getting to cold for me and I'm really worn out." said as I continued walking. Out of no where a squirrel ran up to me. An odd squirrel it was, its color were different then normal as well as the markings. "Why hello there little squirrel, what are you doing out here? Shouldn't you be hibernating?" I said, the squirrel just looked at me, squeaked, and took off. I decided to follow it for some reason, hoping something good would happen.
The squirrel ran through the trees and over small hills made from the fallen snow. Even though I was exhausted, I followed. The small creature would slow down for me to catch up every now and then before it would speed back up again and take off. The last time it did this though, it didn't stop, it just completely took off. The only way I found it was by the small tracks it left behind.
When I stopped at the end of the trail, I was in front of a cave, it didn't seem like anyone else was in it already though. Slowly I walked inside and laid down. I was still hungry but at least I could rest a bit before going back out to find some food. Before I knew it, slept finally overtook me.
