It was late at night about 11:30pm I closed my eyes and turned over on my pillow. But it was all useless I just couldnt sleep. My white tail stuck out of my of my blanket and my whtie fur was ruffed from tossing and turning in my bed. My name is Yuukan, I'm 14 years old and I'm a white anthro wolf with aqua eyes. I sighed finally giving up on sleep and turned on my mp3 player. I put on my favorite song Colors of the Heart by Uverworld I've always loved the song and so does my best freind Katsu. I sighed happily at the thought of him Katsu, we're the best of freinds we always have been ever since we were pups. MY mom loves having him over and i have so many pictures of us together my mom always did like to take pictures. we always joke around, laugh, and hang out together we dont keep any secrets from each other too. I've only ever kept one secret from him the face i have a crush on him. I started feeling this way about him 3 years ago I can't help it how soft his snow white fur is and his golden eyes shine like sunlight. And keeping it a secret hasnt been getting any easier i seems every time i talk or hang out with him my feelings for him grow. Finally I yawned, switched off my mp3 player, and went to bed. I awoke the next morning to my alarm clock blaring it read 5:30 am. I yawned and threw off the covers finally forcing my self to get my lazy butt out of bed. I started to wag my trail slightly remembering what day it was I was going to Katsu's house. I've gone over about a million times but they're letting me stay with them for the holidays and christmas is just around the corner it's Katsu's favorite holiday too its mostly becuase of the weather snowy he never did see snow until he moved up here. I went to my closet still only in my blue boxers and grabed a pair of jeans and a black t-shirt. I also grabbed clothes for the holidays by the time i got t hose into my bookbag it was stuffed to the top. I slid my shirt nad jeans on then my hoodie like i always do and ran downstiars and ploped down onto my couch in hte living room. I stared at the clock impatiently "Cmon change numbers" i said still staring at the clock. Soon my little brother came down i fell asleep on the couch and he screamed "YUUKAN GET UP WE'RE GONNA BE LATE!!!" I yeped in suprise and fell off the couch "ow what was that for?' i asked rubbing my head. he just laughed "Cmon we're gonna be late" he siad going out the door I grabbed my book bag and followed him out the door and yelled "Bye mom see you after the holidays!". I looked around at the snow covered landscape and sighed and though to myself ITs so beautiful. As we continued to walk down the hill we soon saw a fox that looekd to be a year younger than me he had sage green eyes and he was wearing jeans and a red hoodie. HE ran up to my little brother "Hey Devyn" he siad wiht smile "Hey Tyler: Devyn said in reply and they started chating about video agmes and the hitnkgs they want for christmas. We waited a few more mintues and the bus arrived I climbed up the teps and saw Katsu in seat 7 i wagged my tail and started walk ing over to the seat. He smiled as i sat beside him "So excited about this weekend?" he siad his tail wagging slightly. "Yeah reall excited" i said smling nervously. The rest of the school day was like a long drug out chore when the teacher fianly said "Have a great holiday" i nearly fell out of my seat as i ran out to my locker, grabbed my bookbag and ran to Katsu's locker. He was just finishing putting his books away when i got there "alright lets get going!" he said and I smiled and started walkign towards the exit off the school. As we walked outside the smell of freshly fallen snow and cold winter winds filled my nose and he seemed to b enjoying it. He sighed "I just love winter so much" I smiled giggling a bit "And why is that?" I said with a grin on my face. "Well for one it snows and two its when christmas is!" he said jumping a little. As we finally reached the bus we walked up the stairs and took saet 13 the bus was full of other furs talking about holdiay plans and parties. We soon reched his stop and got off the bus and ran to his house. When i walked into his house the sweet smell of gingerbread cookies and apple pie i drooled a bit his mom always did make the best pie but my mom is the best cake baker ever. His mom soon walkde over and hugged us both tight "Welcome home boys!" she yelled huggin tighter she was a slim wolf and unusally young looking for her age. "Thanks mom" Katsu said and tried to break free from her hug. She let go of us and smiled "DInner will be reaady in a bit then we can ahve dessert until then why dont you two go play?" I smled and bowed a bit "thank you so much". She started to laugh "My dear boy no need to bow its my pleasure ot have you i was the on who suggested it remember?" I laughed a little "Yeah i do remember well we'll be in the living oom if you need us" Katsu said and we ran to the living room. He switched on his Xbox 360 and and he started a game of Call of Duty black ops the zombie mode. We made it to about round 26 and we finally died we high fived laughing "Thats the best score we got so far!" HE exclaimed smiling "Yeah i know" I said back wagging my tail. He looked down at my tail and smiled "You know you wag your tail more than anyone i know" he said laughing. "Oh I do?" I said and stopped. "Yeah but its fine" he said and we heard his mom yell from the kitchen "Time for dinner boys!". Not a second later we ran tot he kitchen btoh of our tails wagging as we smeelde the delicous ham stuffign and noodles "It looks graet mom you out did yourself!" Katsu said. His mom just smiled and got ou plates ready after dinner and dessert which i ate five pie felt like i was drunk off of pie and arna round for a while and Katsu and his mom just watched and laughed as if it were a tv show. When we finally all went to bed i sighed and sat othe couch where i was to sleep. He looked over from the movie we were watching and noticed somethign was wrong "Everyhting ok?" he asked in a caring voice i sighed again "yeah I-I'm fine " I said my back to turned. He got up and sat beside me and put his paw on my shoulder "are you sure?" he asked he sounded more concerned. I blushed a bit "C-can i tell you soemthing" I said shakily. He smiled warmly "Sure go ahead" he said "C-can I sleep with you tonight I-I feel really cold" i said nervously. He smiled and pulled out the ul out bed in the couch he was on "Sure he said and got the bed ready and layed on it I smiled and layed beside him he soon fell asleep under the covers and I cautously layed my head onhis chest blusing like crazy. "Tomarow" I though "I have to tell him i just have to".
