The Lovably Hated Youth - Chapter one: Not Stupid, But not Smart
~ Alright, this'll be my bloody 100th atempt to write this damn story, i'm a bit irritated from all the attempts and interuptions, Nevertheless This is my first story and i hope you enjoy ~
Silver woke up from a thud heard next to his ear, he rolled over and saw his best friend Rudy sitting on a seat next to his bed grinning. "Wake up Silver." He said in a creepy voice to irritate him. Rudy never smiled in the mornings let alone annoy Silver at this time of morning so it could only mean one thing: He got a fresh bag of weed.
Silver groaned as he tried to keep his eyes open that he didn't notice Rudy throw his bed sheets off and slap his stomach. "You got a lighter?" He said casually as his hand made contact with Silver's gut. Silver yelled in pain and anoyance. "No dammit, i only have matches!" Rudy stood up and walked out of the room cracking his neck. "Fine, there might be one downstairs. Rudy was a red fox with his hair dyed darker, dark green eyes, had a tattoo on his right arm of the kanji meaning life and he had a built like Silver's; Average height, slightly well toned body and visible abs. Silver however was a mix between a wolf and fox, his father being a wolf and his mother a fox, he had blue majestic eyes which were often commented on, but before his eyes were noticed everyone recognised him from his silver fur, his father telling him that he inherited it from his great grandfather.
Silver sat in his car listening to Korn while waiting for Rudy to hurry his ass up, Silver drove a white Nissan Silvia and placed a heavy bassed stereo and speakers in. Silver's parents were quite well waged, his father being a doctor and his mother being a dentist, resulting in Rudy often being jealous that not only did he have real parents but they were wealthy as well. Rudy's father had died before he was born so he never knew him, while his mother abandoned him when he was five, leaving Lucy and Mace, Silver's parents, to look after him when she skipped the country.
After waiting for some time Rudy finally walked out of the front door still slipping his jacket on and packing his bag, having a late one the night before, he visited Joe, their friend and Rudy's dealer, to get a fresh bag of dope.
Silver pulled into the school student parking lot and checked his bag for the sixth time this morning to make sure he had all that he needed. "How come you came home so late anyway? i thought you went to get a bag and save it for the morning, you didn't tell me you were going to have a sesh.
Rudy looked at him still tired. "Actually i didn't have a sesh, i almost got jumped by that pitbull gang everyone's talking about, i had to hide in the neighbour's tool shed for a bit, man it was stuffy in there." He said wiping his nose.
The pair walked to P.E. while they talked about Joe's party he was planning on throwing. "Will there be girls?" Rudy said while looking at his timetable.
"He said there would be some nice ass, and his sister's friends are coming as well." Silver responded while checking the time to make sure they weren't going to be late.
Siler and Rudy continued discussing the party while getting changed into their gym clothes, Rudy getting more excited by the second. "Thank God it's friday!" He yelled out cheerfully.
After gym Silver and Rudy had English so they made their way to their classroom until Rudy looked confused and stopped. "Uh... i have English that way, guess i'll see you at breaktime." He said looking at his classroom.
"Alright, save me a seat." Silver said continuing on to his classroom.
Inide the room Silver sat at the back of the class and looked out of the window at the trees blowing in the breeze. After a few minutes the teacher started talking but he didn't listen to him, still looking out of the window wile the teacher talked about getting started with the year. After awhile of mindless chatter the teacher was interuped by a soft voice while the door swung open. "So sorry i'm late sir, i got lost and couldn't find my way here." Silence filled the room as the teacher was hearding grumbling to himself. "Alright, this'll be your first and only warning, now that you know where the class room is i trust you won't make the same mistake again?" The voice spoke up to respond. "Of course not sir, it won't happen again, i promise." The teacher walked to the blackboard. "Alright then, take a seat."
Footsteps were heard getting closer to Silver starting from the front of the class and a seat was heard being pulled out from net to him as he continued to zone out into the window.
"Are you okay?" The voice said next to him, the late person had taken a seat next to him. He turned to face her while scratching his head. "Yeah i'm fine." He looked at the person and was shocked to see how attractive she was, light fur, cute face, tight body. What got him off though the most was when he noticed she had six tails, all the same length and moved out of sync.
"Oh, sorry if they're a distraction, sometimes they can be annoying and get in the way." She said while looked back at her face that knocked him off his senses once again. "Oh no they aren't a distraction at all, in fact they're hard not to look away from."
She chuckled at the comment. "I'm Cora by the way." She said in a kind and polite voice. "Silver." He said smilingat her, he noticed her blush a bit so he looked away, not wanting to make her feel awkward.
"So you new here?" He asked to break the tenstion between them.
"Yeah, i moved from Ohio, things kind of went a little bad with my parents spliting up so my mom moved us here to try and change things." She answered while looking at Silver, making him blush a bit himself.
After an entire period of talk Silver asked her if she wanted to hang out with him, he seemed to have an interest in her so he wanted to get to know her a bit more. She lookd at him and smiled. "Okay, sounds good." They walked onto the field to the gym where Rudy and Joe were talking. Joe was a tall and bulky panther from Amsterdam, hailing from Jamaca and moved when he was a pre-schooler, meeting Silver and Rudy in Kindergaten.
Joe saw Silver and patted him on his shoulder. "Hey man, you coming to my party tonight, o do i have to lock your house so you have nowhere to sleep?" He said in his slight accent. Silver smirked and chuckled. "Actually i'm going to Mars to collect rocks, of course i'm coming to the party!" He said joking around.
Rudy reached into his bag and grabbed his bag of dope then pulled papers out of his jacket's inside pocket. "One thing's for sure, i'm not going to remember to do my homework for the entire weekend." he said while sprinkling the dope into a paper and licking the glue, then pushing it together and putting it into his mouth. "By the way who's she?" He said impolitly patting himself to find his lighter.
Silver softly punched him in the arm. "This is Cora, she's in my English class, be nice." Rudy looked at Silver with a grin. "I'm always nice!"
Joe looked at her while passing Rudy a lighter. "So are you coming tonight as well?"
Cora looked confused at the quesion. "Coming where?"
Joe responded before Silver could even open his to mouth. To my party, my paerents aren't home so I have the house to Myself, of course if you don't want to come you don't have to."
Cora responded right after Joe finished his sentence. "No it sounds good, i'm always up for some drinks." She said smiling.
After the four had finished school for the day they all met up at Silver's car and talked about the night.
"So you remember where it is?" Silver asked, he didn't want her to walk around the streets lost.
She nodded and smiled again. "Yeah, it's right near Sunside Park, down the road from the corner store, blue house, number 45." Joe nodded in approval at her memory. "And if you get lost call me and we can come get you." He said leaning on Silver's car.
After Joe and Cora were dropped off at their houses Silver and Rudy headed back to their house and threw their bags into their rooms. "Hey Silv, where's the condoms?" Rudy yelled out from his room.
Silver opened his wardrobe and found a box full of them. "They're in here, and so are your dildos!" He yelled out as a joke. After a few seconds Rudy ran into Silver's room and tackled him onto his bed then ran back out yelling a strange war cry as a joke. Rudy was always fun to be around, but sometimes he was stupid and got Silver, Joe and himself into trouble either from gangs, parents or police, but Silver still loved him like a brother despite his stupidity.
Silver and Rudy played Mortal Kombat for a while until Silver looked at the clock and turned the playstation off. "Come on stonerboy, let's go get wasted!" He said running down the stairs and into the kitchen to write a note down for his parents. Rudy ran into the kitchen and grabbed a six pack of beer and a bottle of rum then ran outside to the car with the booze. After Silver wrote the note that they were going out for the night he placed it onto the fridge with a magnet and ran outside, locking the front door and jumping into his car, pulling out of the drive way speeding down the road towards Joe's house.
