max and Luke Ch:3
Jessie used her trade mark laugh as she watched max run for the balloon.
"That twerp, when will he learn that we will win in the end?" She turned around to face Luke, arms tied behind his back, legs tied in the kneeling position, and a ball gag in his mouth. A victorious smile slithered across Jessie's face. Lucario's gut lurched, he felt sick to his stomach. "What's the matter sweetie? Your mine, your trainer dosen't even know your gone." That statement was enough to ignite lucarios fire within. His eyes grew even redder and his aura cloud surrounded him. The alternating black, blue, and purple looked like a dark fire. Jessie just laughed. "There's nothing you can do, and you know it, if he wanted you wouldn't he already be here? So why don't you just calm down and let life take it's course of action." Luke looked up from the floor where he had concentrated his anger, and he saw Jessie with a large gun in her hand she braced it by putting it on the side of the basket, she took aim and fired, a tiny red beam. Jessie turned back, her face was contorted to show enough anger and frustration to tell Luke she had missed her mark. "Now I have to wait another thirty minutes for this to work again."
Luke looked at the gun it was an odd shape for one, it had a oxygen tank on both sides and the barrel seemed to taper to a point. Then the balloon started to shake, a roaring sound erupted from above. Out of the corner of Lucario's eye he saw green flash by.
"Oh great, not again. Why can't trainer's just fly up here and save me the trouble of patching this thing up every time?" Jessie went on ranting like a lunatic. And the balloon started decreasing in altitude. Before long the balloon made contact with the ground. It hit hard enough to break the bottom of the basket which sent lucario falling to the ground, but the ground didn't seem to be there, not for a wile at least. He finally did hit the ground, about six feet under the balloon. The ropes on His arms and legs where cut by the pieces of the basket bottom. He was free, except for the ball gag, His fingers weren't nimble enough to undo the strap. Meaning he couldn't call for help.
Meanwhile up above Jessie was furious, she jumped over the basket walls and sneered at the approaching trainer. "That's it twerp. This is the last time you ever pop my team rocket bubble."
Max's eyes were filled with the same emotion as Lucario's had he continued walking toward the balloon. Right past the nagging, red headed, thief. Her words ment nothing to him.
"And what exactly do you think you're doing?" Jessie said. Max was about to let her have a piece of his mind when The witch of a woman grabbed max's shoulder. "Where do you think you're going?" Max saw a strange remote in her hand.
Luke, gathered enough strength to wall jump the six feet, but was too weak to pull himself over the basket wall.
"And what exactly do you think your doing?" Lucario heard the devil -woman say "Where do you think you're going?" then he heard max groan in pain. That was enough, that gave him the strength to jump over the basket and see that Jessie had grabbed his shoulder hard enough to hit the pressure point and force him to the ground. "Ah so nice of you to join us." Jessie laughed as she held out the remote and pressed the red button on the top. Lucario had but a second and an electric shock bolted through his body forcing him to the ground. "I am done! Done losing to twerps, like you." She bent down to show she was talking to max. Your lucario is mine." she pushed the yellow button in the middle. The electricity stopped and as lucario began to lunge his body froze, he couldn't move a muscle. Jessie began to laugh maniacally. "It's actually working. Now The green one, what's it supposed to do? Oh that's simple I bet you both want to find out. Well here it goes." She pressed the green button and nothing seemed to happen. Max looked up at her and then over at Luke. They both stood perfectly still. When max tried to move Jessie didn't try to stop him. He grabbed the remote from her, then walked over to Luke, sure enough there was a small mound of fur sticking up, moving it to the side Max saw a small mechanical bulb sticking up out of Luke's skin. He pulled it out with ease, walked over to Jessie and placed it on her. Then pressed the red button. Time resumed as normal. Jessie began to spasm out of control, falling to the ground as she screamed out in pain.
"That's for Luke." Max said, "And this is for me!" He pushed the yellow button and she froze in the fetal position. He placed the remote in the balloon and started walking. Calling Luke toward you. "Luke, your late for the party. Come' ere." he begins to stumble toward you, then falls on his hindquarters, they both laugh and he gets up, soon running to max. He jumps on top of him, pushing him to the ground, and meeting his lips with max's.
"I love you max. I knew you would come."
