Sorin High - Part 1 - Dare
Sorin High
"Sorin! Sorin! Wait for me!" yelled Leon from the school courtyard jogging lightly up to Sorin's side. "Hey bud what are you doing for your birthday tonight?" Leon asked impatiently as he was already late for class. Sorin turned to Leon with a blank stare, hesitantly trying to think of an excuse to get out of whatever Leon had planned.
"Uhh.. I think my mom is surprisi..." Sorin started.
"Okay good you have nothing planned!" Leon interrupted with excitement. "My parents are out of town tonight and you are coming over to have a birthday party with your best friend! ME! I will invite some of our friends, but don't worry not too many." After his quick rant Leon ran off onto his last class period of the day.
After Leon took off, Sorin sighed to himself and started walking to class. After thinking a little longer he began to express a little grin on his face and stepped into English class just as the bell started to ring.
Sorin, a black fox with light blue tips on his ears, paws, and tail and a light blue stripe down his spine, sat down at his desk wearing his favorite pair of blue ripped jeans, white flip flops, and his favorite red polo. He couldn't help to think to himself what Leon had planned. Leon was an ember reddish brown fox with white tips on his ears and tail and white stripes across his back. Sorin can't help but to think that it's been eight years since he met Leon at the neighborhood playground; about a block between the two of them.
The bell rang loud and it was time for the weekend as all of the students began fleeting from class. Sorin packed his backpack as he heard a voice from behind call his name. It was his girlfriend Zoey, an all black cat.
"Hey hot stuff how's It feel to be sweet 16 finally?" Zoey asked.
"Still feel like the same me! Still have my stunning good looks." Sorin exclaimed as they shared a good laugh.
The couple grabbed their bags and started to walk out to the school parking lot side by side. As they come to the lot they spot Leon speeding up in his motorcycle towards them; not wearing a helmet as usual. Leon came to a quick screeching halt in front of them looked over at the two and said, "The two of you have been dating for two months now, don't you at least want to hold hands?"
"Sorin likes to take it slow and you know he's shy in public Leon," Zoey claimed with an annoyed look on her face.
"Leon you should really wear a helmet. I always worry you're going to get hurt on that thing." Sorin stated. "Don't you have one?"
"Yeah I have one... FOR YOU!" He shouted in excitement as he pulled it from behind him. "Come on you are only a year younger than me and its time you tried this thing out. What do you say?"
"Sorry Leon I'm not comfortable on fast motorcycles and I know you love to test your speed on the roads." Sorin said shyly.
"I'll drive safer for you Sorin. Hop on!'
"Maybe another time Leon did you get the party set at your house?" Sorin said trying to change the subject.
"Oh there's a party tonight?" Zoey jumped in excitement.
"Yes Zoey a birthday party for our Sorin here. He is 16 and we are going to have a little get together at my house with Jenna, Rachel, and you two!"
After finalizing the plans for the night Zoey walks off to get into her mom's car while Leon takes off on his loud two-wheeler. Sorin was waiting for his Mom to pick him up in the parking lot as she was late again from work. Just as he was getting impatient he saw her blue SUV pull around the lot to come and get him. He picked up his bag and opened the door just as his mom came to a stop. On the drive home not much was said as his Mom doesn't like to celebrate birthdays claiming it always cost to much money.
On the way home Sorin was looking straight down the all too familiar Fern Street he's traveled all of his school years.
"A POT HOLE!" Sorin yelled as he pointed ahead hoping that his mom would swerve around.
Shera jerked the wheel to the right and then back to the left all the while claiming, "I SEE IT!" The SUV barely missed the pot hole and shortly after both were disgusted with each other's reactions.
Pulling into home Sorin quickly got out and started walking towards Leon's house down the very same road. "I'm going to Leon's to hang out." He stated to his mother Shera.
"DO WHATEVER YOU WANT!" She yelled back with a smug look on her face. "You might as well stay there as I'm not picking you up later!"
A little while late Sorin arrived at Leon's house and knocked on the door. Leon answered the door and to his surprise the girls had already managed to beat him there.
"Come on in bud!" Leon said with his typical fun loving smile.
When Sorin walked in he saw that Leon had laid out some snacks and ordered pizza and heard some dance music playing in the background of the living room.
"Sorin we are going to have some fun tonight." Leon said joyfully as walked into the kitchen to grab some of his parents aged wine. "There's enough wine for everyone so let's relax and enjoy ourselves."
The sun was just setting down as the group of five was settling down in the living room. Since there wasn't many of them the party started to drift into boredom and that's when Jenna had a great idea.
"LET'S PLAY TRUTH OR DARE!" She yelled at the top of her lungs. "Sorin we are starting with you! Since it's your birthday you have to start with a dare!"
Sorin looked at her astonished with her idea and then shrugged and nodded knowing that there was no way he was going to be able to get around it. "Okay I guess I have to."
Jenna laughed at his response and stated, "Okay I dare you to kiss Leon!"
Sorin became puzzled and nervous as he had never thought of any guy in that way before. He glanced over at Zoey not knowing what to do, but Zoey was glaring at Jenna annoyed with the situation.
"Come on bud it's a dare." Leon said as he sat down beside him. Sorin looked around the room as the girls stared back at the two of them. He turned to Leon and began examining his face holding back his lips slightly as he was trying to find a way out. Then without notice Leon placed his paw on Sorin's cheek and leaned in and gave him a sensual kiss on the lips. To what seemed like a second to Leon felt like forever to Sorin as his eyes went from wide open to softly closing as his lips touched Leon's. When the two parted Sorin was in disbelief as he could not understand what he just felt.
"YAY!" Jenna yelled out in ecstatic laughter. "I never thought you two would do it I was just kidding around!" She stated mysteriously.
Just then the clock struck 9:00 and Leon told the girls it was time for them to go. As Jenna and Rachel said goodbye to Leon, Zoey pulled Sorin to the side and whispered in his ear, "We're over." Zoey then turned around and shot out the door and the girls followed shortly after.
Leon came up to Sorin putting his hand on his shoulder, "Are you okay bud?"
"Zoey just broke up with me" Sorin said without emotion.
"Are you upset? Why would she do that?" Leon asked.
"Because in two months I haven't kissed her and I don't know why. But I kissed you tonight and I guess she didn't think it was fair. I'm okay though I don't need a girlfriend right now. I like being alone and hanging out with you when I want."
"Well let's go to my room and get ready for bed." Leon said as he started to yawn.
The two went into Leon's room that was and grabbed their pajamas. Sorin picked up his pajama pants and white t-shirt and headed for the bathroom. "Where are you going?" Leon asked. "You can change in here I don't mind."
Sorin, still puzzled about how the night has gone continued on to the bathroom to change anyway. When he returned he saw Leon with his back to the door standing in his plaid black and blue pajama pants with no shirt. Sorin looked down at himself ironically and saw that he was wearing red and white plaid pajama pants.
"Should I sleep on the floor as usual?" Sorin asked. "Where are the sheets I always use?"
While Sorin started looking for the sheets in the closet, Leon walked up behind him and grabbed his arm to turn him around, "The sheets are dirty so you will have to share the bed with me tonight. I'm sorry I didn't get around to cleaning them."
Without hesitation Sorin nodded okay as he stared into Leon's eyes. He became entranced with Leon's clear green eyes for a brief moment and froze; unable to look away.
"Are you coming or are you just gonna stand there?" Leon chuckled.
Sorin headed to the bed and took the side set against the wall where he felt safest while Leon followed and laid down beside him. Sorin turned towards the wall and Leon leaned the opposite direction to turn off the lamp.
"Good night and sweet dreams Sorin." Leon whispered softly as the light clicked off.
"Good night Leon. Sleep well." Sorin said shyly back.
As they both lay there trying to sleep, Sorin's mind began to race. He started thinking to himself that he has never thought of guys in that way before. He never thought of them as attractive or beautiful. He began to think back to Leon's kiss and slowly started to realize how amazing it felt. Sorin then re-imagined the kiss and what it was like gazing into Leon's sweet eyes and wondered to himself if this is why he never kissed Zoey. Maybe he had feelings for Leon and he never knew it.
Sorin turned over to Leon slowly examining his white striped back with his eyes.
"Leon?" he whispered. Leon turned over facing Sorin in his soft white eyes. "Um... when you kissed me earlier did you..."
Suddenly in the middle of his sentence Leon interrupted him with another sensual kiss.
Sorin could feel the kiss just as soft and amazing as the first one. Like fireworks shooting off in his head and his body became loose and warm.
When their lips parted Leon looked into Sorin's eyes claiming passionately, "When I kiss you Sorin, I don't kiss you with my lips, I kiss you with my heart."
Sorin couldn't hold back the thought that he had just realized that he was so blind to before. "Leon, I love you." He whispered.
"I know Sorin. Your eyes told me when you were staring at me after you couldn't find the sheets."
Just then Sorin began to melt into Leon's arms. He leaned in and began to kiss him while his arms wrapped around his back tightly as if he was never going to see him again. The two closed their eyes and continued to let their lips discover each other. Their stars had crossed in the sky and they were beginning to lose themselves into a dream come true. Leon gently grasping sorin by his hips began to slip his tongue into Sorin's mouth. Sorin without hesitation slowly opened his and the two began massage one another passionately.
Leon then pulled back for a second and began to lift off Sorin's white shirt. Sorin lifted his arms and let Leon do as he pleased. Leon brought his hands down on to Sorin's dark chest and began to caress it with the tips of his paws. Sorin looked into his eyes and pulled him closely and licked his ear while whispering, "Hold me until dawn as if you could lose me in the night." The two wrapped their arms around each other tightly and began to forget the world around them.
As the two started to doze off into their dreams, Leon leaned over into Sorin's ear and whimpered, "Goodnight my Sorin..."
